I attained immortality in the real world.

Chapter 121 Qimen after the wind

Chapter 121 Qimen after the wind
In physiognomy, one should first observe oneself, then observe others, observe all living beings, and observe those who live long lives.

When physiognomy reaches the level of seeing the face of a long-lived person, it partially merges with feng shui, achieving the same goal through different paths. Both also master the ability to observe mountains and rivers. However, a feng shui master observes mountains and rivers like a doctor taking a pulse, while a physiognomist looks inward from the outside and focuses on different aspects of the problem-solving approach.

The three fundamental principles of Feng Shui are: Qi flow, Bright Hall, and Water Mouth.

As a geomancer, Yao Jing could not truly perceive the existence of energy veins, but he could still use the experience of his predecessors and the techniques in the classics to find the dragon veins and acupoints without any impact.

Without the direction of mountains, plants, wind direction, or water flow, without these reference points, a second-level geomancer cannot directly perceive spiritual objects. In this respect, a geomancer who only scratches the surface has an advantage.

Although Chen Jing's physiognomy skills had not yet reached the level of the Longevity Observer, it did not prevent him from using physiognomy techniques beyond his level. He said, "Wait for me for ten minutes, I'll upgrade my physiognomy skills."

"........."

Heaven, the spiritual world, serves as a node between the spiritual and real worlds, and its characteristics as a vessel for spiritual beings are quite evident.

All you need to do is find a living thing that looks alive but is actually dead, or a dead thing that gives you the feeling of being alive.

Between life and death lies the interplay of yin and yang.

There are no long-lived plants around the cold pool, so one can only search among inanimate objects.

It has already exceeded the current level of physiognomy and requires a kind of intuition. It does not require too complicated physiognomy techniques; it is only necessary to select the outliers.

Chen Jing sensed the feelings that living beings gave him, reduced the influence of his consciousness and manas, and quickly generated a technique that touched the third realm.

It takes months or even years for a sorcerer to master his magic and achieve complete control.

As long as cultivators have control over the technique and understand its principles, they can create customized techniques in a short time according to their needs.

Although life and death, yin and yang are beyond the control of the second realm, they are only the most basic perceptions of the inherent eighth consciousness, and are not considered beyond the scope.

[Physiognomy - Seeking the Spirit!]

Chen Jing spent ten minutes recalling and adjusting his thoughts, finding the balance point where his intuition was strongest.

His gaze swept across a ten-meter radius around the cold pool, searching for the spiritual object attached to the Earthly Heaven. He then turned to Lai Ming and said, "The cold pool itself, the white stones in the water, and the rocks of the waterfall."

"Cold pool, white stone, flowing water rock, choosing one of the three really saves a lot of trouble."

Lai Ming clicked on the smart bracelet, brought up the Feng Shui map of Diluo Mountain, and arranged the array flags around the cold pool to form a Qimen formation.

They began to perform calculations and adjust their positions continuously, entering a state of complete absorption, with their brains focused and operating at high speed.

"........."

Nine out of ten Qimen practitioners are crazy, and the tenth one is exceptionally crazy.

Most of the risks Chen Jing faced in his spiritual practice stemmed from his cultivation of sexuality, making the Xiangmen (相门) approach seem quite balanced and peaceful compared to the Qimen (奇门).

Yesterday's discussion.

Physiognomy, shamanism, and feng shui all have something in common.

The shaman's invocation of spirits and the physiognomy's imprinting of the hearts of all beings, one external and one internal, are actually based on the same core principle.

The geomancer determines the energy flow of mountains and rivers, while the physiognomist observes the appearance of those who will not live long. One is internal, the other external. Although their purposes for observing mountains and rivers are different, their core principles are similar.

By verifying each other from different perspectives, we can strengthen our resolve and boost our confidence for embarking on the unknown path ahead.

Only the knowledge of Qimen Dunjia.

It has nothing to do with physiognomy, witchcraft, or feng shui.

Chen Jing and the other two were naturally curious about Qimen Dunjia, so they asked a few more questions. Lai Ming did not hide anything from them, and the three of them gained a basic understanding of Qimen Dunjia.

Qimen Dunjia is based on the principle of 'calculation and decision-making'.

By observing the smoke rising from the cooking fires, one could deduce the number of enemy soldiers and decide whether to flee or fight.

By observing the smoke and dust in the forest, one can determine the enemy's location, know how long it will take for them to arrive, and decide whether to hide or ambush.

By detecting the sounds of insects and birds, they could decide whether to set the mountain on fire or launch a night attack.

Calculating and making correct decisions is the foundational practice of Qimen Dunjia before reaching the Dao realm. The first realm of Qimen Dunjia is: the "game" (局).

Following the principles of Yin and Yang, is some information fixed, and is some information variable?

To treat worldly affairs as a game of chess, and to make predictions through calculations as before, but to influence variables and change the final outcome, is to enter the realm of Qimen Dunjia. Those who achieve this are already outstanding individuals.

The second realm of Qimen Dunjia: transforming a situation into a formation.

The difference between a game and a formation lies in this: entering a game means entering my formation.

According to the Three Powers Calculation, there are two choices: success or failure. This is the change of Yin and Yang. So where does the Three Powers come from?

By getting involved in the setup beforehand, one can understand the changes in the weather, the mountains and rivers on earth, and the human element, which together form the Three Powers (Heaven, Earth, and Man), which form the foundation of the formation.

If you want to achieve wealth, you can travel back ten years and make firm investments in industry giants who had not yet risen to prominence, achieving a similar effect to that of a fortune teller.

Qimen Dunjia encompasses everything from astronomy to geography, with its core being calculation. Just as AI rises based on algorithms, Qimen Dunjia is an algorithm applicable to humans.

Feng shui, physiognomy, divination, governance, military strategy—as long as one has enough energy and time, all these fields of knowledge can be incorporated into the Qimen Dunjia system.

"........."

In addition, there are many Qimen practitioners.

It's not that there are few cultivators who practice Qimen, but rather that the requirements for practicing Qimen are too high.

Chen Jing, Yao Jing, and Fang Xin, using techniques corresponding to their respective levels of knowledge, could easily dominate the situation.

Even if a Bodhisattva at the second level of Qimen Dunjia performs a technique involving only the second level, they may not fully understand the underlying principles, thus they are merely a sorcerer.

In Lai Ming's words: Without practicing Qimen Dunjia, all cultivators think they are geniuses. Only by practicing Qimen Dunjia will they find that their brains are not good enough and their configurations are not high enough.

The way of the sky is more than damage but not enough to make up for.

The way of man is to make more than enough losses but more than enough sacrifices.

Water flows in accordance with the Way of Heaven, while humans go against the Way of Humanity; both are merely evolutions of the Way.

There is no time when people do not fight or contend. Those who are proficient in Qimen Dunjia believe in human nature, understand the general trend but do not like to follow it.

If this is how things are going to unfold, what will happen after I join in? How can I attain enlightenment?

The most likely origin of the "method of opening the heavens" is Qimen Dunjia.

Firstly, the Qimen tradition has a long enough history. More than 6,000 years ago, apart from ancient traditions such as shamanism, only Qimen originated from ancient times.

Secondly, defying the natural order, the most rebellious act in the world for those who cultivate Qimen Dunjia is to go against the principle of existence and extinction—immortality.

"........."

After half an hour.

Lai Ming roughly laid out a Yin-Yang Bagua diagram.

There is an invisible energy flowing inside, but it is not magic; it is electricity and magnetism, and its purpose is to temporarily break through the barrier of the spiritual world.

After a quick test, he shook his head and said, "No! There is no Earthly Net Heaven in the Cold Pool."

After saying that, Lai Ming chose the white stone in the cold pool as his target and continued to set up the Bagua formation.

Another half hour passed, and he smiled and said, "This time it's correct, the Earthly Heaven is inside this stone."

Upon hearing this, Chen Jing and the other two put on the magical artifacts given to them by Lai Ming, covering their foreheads with a stone to deliberately reduce their perception of the real world.

The instrument is started.

In an instant, an image was imprinted into my mind.

In the void, the seemingly illusory old man murmured: "Heaven and the Way, man makes straw, hence there are five mothers and eight stones."
