Bleach: No cheat codes, he joined Aizen's side.

Chapter 13. It still has to be Aizen.

Inside the underground laboratory of Hueco Mundo, Higashino Shuichi stood still, looking down at the ground.

perturbed?

From the moment he made up his mind more than eighty years ago to join Aizen, and then pretended to be prey to lure him in step by step, and successfully acquired his first stake, Higashino Shuichi knew that sooner or later he would take action against those Grim Reapers who were his colleagues.

Higashino Shuichi didn't feel any guilt about this, because according to his logic, if these people didn't die by his hand, they would have died by Aizen, or by Tosen Kaname, Ichimaru Gin, and others.

The only difference is that Aizen might have to put in a little more planning and pay a higher price for it.

As for rescuing these prey targeted by Aizen, Higashino Shuichi never had such naive ideas.

He was just a nobody who happened to know some of the future plot developments and only wanted to survive. He transmigrated here, and the god of transmigration did not grant him the power to save the world, so he shouldn't be blamed for not taking on that responsibility.

So when Aizen announced that mission, Higashino Shuichi felt a sense of relief, though he didn't know why.

But is Higashino Shuichi excited?

It seems not. If he had a choice, he would still prefer to continue being the fourth division lieutenant who occasionally extracted some Shinigami spirit particles for Aizen.

That position was perfect, except for the slight frustration of not being able to showcase my full abilities.

As for worries, there are none.

Shuichi Higashino felt he might know Aizen better than Aizen himself.

This is someone who never fights unprepared (excluding Aizen after he obtained the complete Hogyoku, who became arrogant at that time). Since Aizen told him to go and keep that captain there, it means that he must have made corresponding plans.

Even though Higashino Shuichi knew that his current strength was only slightly better than that of an average captain, and that he still had a long way to go before he could kill a captain head-on.

Therefore, Higashino Shuichi was very calm, as if everything was a matter of course and should happen.

About half an hour later, Higashino Shuichi left the underground laboratory.

Only now did he finally understand the true purpose of Aizen's last major move.

He had underestimated Aizen's plans.

The purpose of having Barragan and Stark lead a group of Hollows to attack Soul Society was far more complex than Shuichi Higashino had initially imagined.

One purpose was to take the opportunity to harvest the souls of Rukongai civilians with Shinigami potential; another was to test the results of years of research; a third was to probe the strength of the captains; and a fourth was to test the Soul Society's ability to respond to unexpected events.

Most importantly, Aizen wanted to put a complete end to his past research, and he would no longer devote his energy to the research of Shinigami spirit particles, which meant that Higashino Shuichi was "unemployed".

Following this line of thought, Higashino Shuichi couldn't help but analyze Aizen's true purpose in having him cooperate with Stark to kill Sengoku Ryu, the current captain of the expeditionary force.

First, they wanted to send a warning to the angry nobles in Soul Society, so they wouldn't think Hueco Mundo was a pushover. That was definitely one reason, but it couldn't be the main one. "Could it be that they wanted to see how Soul Society would react to the simultaneous death of two captain-level Shinigami?"

Yes, in Aizen's plan, Barragan and Szayelaporro would join forces to kill the 10th Division Captain who was sent to Hueco Mundo by Soul Society at almost the same time.

The death of a captain is not uncommon in the long history of Soul Society, but the last time two or more captains of Shinigami died at the same time was more than 800 years ago in the great war against the Quincy Empire led by Yhwach, the King of Quincy.

Even during the Quincy's purge of the human world more than sixty years ago, Soul Society only lost one captain.

As for the reason why Aizen would choose to do this, Higashino Shuichi believes it is impossible that he had already foreseen the major event decades later that would force Yoruichi Shihouin, Kisuke Urahara, and other captains and vice-captains to leave.

More likely, Aizen is already planning a major operation to purge the Gotei 13.

Let's see if we can cut off Yamamoto Genryusai Shigekuni's right and left arms first, then we can focus on dealing with Yamamoto Genryusai Shigekuni alone.

As for the incident decades later, it was most likely just a coincidence, that they happened to run into Aizen's gun.

Of course, the above is just Higashino Shuichi's conjecture, but based on Higashino Shuichi's understanding of Aizen, this conjecture, even if not entirely correct, is at least 60% or 70% correct.

"Xiao Xiuyi, tell me, how do you plan to deal with that annoying expedition team?"

Upon seeing Higashino Shuichi emerge, before Koyatai Stark, who was waiting outside the laboratory, could speak, his adjutant Lilynette preemptively asked Higashino Shuichi a question.

Looking at the playful girl with a skull on her head and short, light green hair, Higashino Shuichi flicked her forehead with a finger: "Who are you calling 'Little Shuichi'? You're only up to my waist, aren't you ashamed to say that?"

"You dare hit me! You damn Shuichi!"

Faced with Higashino Shuichi's snap of the fingers, Lilynette jumped up without saying a word, ready to retaliate.

"Alright, Lilynette!" Stark stopped Lilynette's nonsense. "But, Higashino Shuichi, Lord Aizen said that I should cooperate with your operations. Apart from the Hollows under Barragan's command, all the Hollows on my side are at your disposal at any time. Do you have a plan in mind now?"

Damn it!
Higashino Shuichi wished he could immediately roll his eyes at Stark and Lilynette on the other side. Otherwise, how could these Hollows have fought against the Grim Reapers for so many years and only ended up in a worse state?

Even a high-level Arrancar like Stark, who is an independent Arrancar, is not entirely bright.

It's been less than an hour since Higashino Shuichi learned about this mission. Is he a god or can predict the future? How could he come up with a mature plan so quickly?
Well, the above is just his inner monologue; in front of Stark, Higashino Shuichi still didn't dare to really act recklessly.

Who can blame him when Stark is Wolverine?
If it weren't for the plot killing off, such a powerful and resilient character could have easily survived until the era of the Blind Empire, and then met those high-class Sternritter.

"Let's go check the target's location first. I'm not entirely clear on the expedition team's operating logic or their captain's capabilities. We'll have to discuss the specifics of the operation later."

After thinking for a moment, Higashino Shuichi said.
