"Damn it, almost a week of 'rest' and they're still the same! Useless trash." The sheriff put his legs up on his desk and said irritably, "They might as well just be disbanded!"

"I never imagined that the city's foundation would be so afraid they wouldn't even leave their premises. When we asked other states for help, they were evasive and refused to cooperate at all." The officer sighed. "Sir, is the ghost really that powerful?"

“Who knows! I’m not a superhuman.” The officer put his legs down and pulled up a form. “All I know is that so far, Ghost has managed to keep all the mystics in Michigan completely under his thumb without us having to help him or spending a single penny of government money.”

Upon closer inspection, the police officers noticed that all the data were declining.

Property crimes committed by the Mysterious Men decreased by 76%, and violent crimes decreased by 55%. Serious homicides have virtually disappeared. Across the entire United States, in just about a week, Michigan, which was previously at the bottom of the list, has become the most law-abiding state for the Mysterious Men.

The officer's eyelids twitched, and he couldn't help but speak.

"These people seem to be like the Foundation, afraid that the Ghosts will attack them, and they dare not abuse their superpowers."

"Ha! Turmoil and fear!"

"Doesn't that mean... the St. Anilov Foundation, which the authorities spend money and manpower to support in dealing with the frequent superpower incidents, is less capable and efficient than a 'free agent'?"

“Nonsense, if Dietrich had two police departments…” the officer glanced at his subordinate, “Any data only counts as truly efficient when it fluctuates within our policies, understand?”

"Yes, sir."

The officer bowed and left the office.

He looked around to make sure no one was nearby before taking out his phone.

A black forum background appeared, with images of a skull with a rose in its eye, a six-pointed star, and a demon sheep pasted on the forum screen, and the World Tree image was eerie and mysterious.
