They all call me an Outer God.

Chapter 321, Fifth Sculpture

Chapter 321, Fifteenth Sculpture

The deepest part of the ocean is called the "abyss".

As Dagon plummeted, the group headed towards the abyss at the bottom of the sea. They cried out in alarm, hearing the sounds of wind, water, and even something breaking. When they came to their senses, they were shocked and alarmed.

The real underwater city is a place just like a normal city, with land, plants, breathable air, and sky.

However, the sky at this moment was completely like an inverted black sea, and the churning figure of Dagon could be vaguely observed from above, as if it would fall at any moment and turn the city into ruins.

However, it soon swam away from there and disappeared completely.

Only the waves of the Black Sea remained in the sky.

"Where is this place?"

The group had returned to their original forms, and they lay on the ground, bewildered by their situation. However, Emigana was the first to provide an answer.

"Northern Edlin, and the former Northern Edlin. The Abyss has swallowed countless cities, but this place is the best preserved."

"How do you know?" The investigators all stood up. What had just happened was an unimaginable experience for them, and it was a miracle that they were still alive.

It's no exaggeration to say that, based on their status as investigators, they have already achieved their goal.

“I lived here for a time before I grew into the form of a Deep One, before my body was like that of a human.”

Emigana looked around, his eyes filled with reminiscence, yet also tinged with fear.

"Time here was frozen somewhere. The people here were all devoured by the Hydra. At that time, a large number of extraordinary creatures poured in to hunt humans, and even began to reproduce..."

Without it saying anything further, everyone could guess what it wanted to express.

“It’s a disaster. What’s an easy action for God is devastating for us,” Todwell lamented.

North Adeline was fortunate, at least it retained most of its original appearance, while many more cities were completely swallowed by the sea, and civilization and life were reduced to ruins.

"But here..."

Salle looked at the bustling classical buildings, as if just a moment ago there were many people dressed in old-fashioned clothes, chatting and laughing as they strolled through the streets and alleys.

Fitzton: "The difference between here and North Adeline now is too great. Now that we're here, what about Dagon?"

"It probably sent us here because it was worried that the struggle with the Hydra would affect us."

Emigana became worried about Dagon, constantly reassuring herself: "He'll be alright. Since he brought us here, it must mean there's some way to turn things around—wait, is one of us missing?"

"Yes, that disorderly one!"

Where did Kercha go?

……

"Reversed Black Sea..."

When Ria opened her eyes and saw this familiar scene, she thought of her past experiences in Grani and felt inexplicably annoyed.

"A city lies beneath the sea, and the ocean rises above the city. Does this foreshadow that the abyss will descend from the sky on Judgment Day?"

"Goo."

Little Swarth cooed beside Ria, having shrunk back to the size of an owl. Seeing its host finally awake, it crouched low and crawled to his side on all fours, then wrapped its arms around his waist. Ria casually lifted it by the scruff of its neck and placed it on his shoulder, then picked up his hat from the ground, used his cane to support himself as he straightened his glasses.

The surroundings were somewhat dim, and Ria relit the kerosene lamp, holding it in her free hand.

This appeared to be the interior of a palace, and there were candles on the walls. Little Swarth flew over and spat out sparks from his mouth, lighting them all up. Now their vision was finally unobstructed.

However, in most places not illuminated by candlelight, Lia still preferred to use a kerosene lamp to light them. Seeing things in the dark all the time is extremely damaging to the eyes and can easily lead to true nearsightedness.

“We got separated from them, and it seemed like we had stumbled into some terrible place.”

Once most of the darkness had disappeared, Little Swarth flew back onto Ria's shoulder, and Ria walked to one of the walls and raised the kerosene lamp.

The lamplight illuminated the carved mural on the wall with exceptional clarity, and the subject of the mural was a person.

This person sat inside a giant clam shell, with two giant pythons coiled around his body. One python spewed red molten flames from its mouth, while the other spewed blue waves of water.

His figure was obscured by striped, wavy patterns, while a divine halo appeared behind his head. Clearly, this person must have been a figure revered by the mural's artist, and he was definitely not an ordinary person.

The artist's love and aspiration for the painting can be felt from the exquisite detail and color scheme of the mural. Ria guessed that the painting depicted a human figure of a deity.

“There are other paintings around.”

He walked to the other side, leaning on his cane. The cane struck the ground with a dull thud that echoed through the empty hall, giving a sense of profound loneliness.

The vast space contained only Ria, and of course, Schwarz could also be considered himself, so Ria remained a single person throughout.

The second mural depicts the same person as the first mural, standing high above and revered by the crowd below. This being raises his hand and scatters countless fish.

Lia continued toward the third mural.

The third mural depicts people cheering as they receive fish, but they themselves have turned into fish, tangled together with empty eyes, creating a very eerie scene.

In the fourth image, all the fish are submerged, and the sun appears, scorching everything, including the god.

The fifth image depicts a battle between God and the sun, with a giant serpent biting at the sun.

In the sixth image, a strange figure appears midway through the scene. This person, cloaked in black, stands between the sun and the deity.

In the seventh image, the picture gradually distorts, revealing many faces with chaotic and abstract lines, making it difficult to discern the artist's intended message.

The eighth image depicts a deity dying and falling into the sea, after which the sun shines upon the world once more.

In the ninth image, fish return to land and grow limbs, their appearance becoming increasingly similar to modern humans from left to right, and they even evolve into many other animals, while the sea level recedes.

In the tenth picture, people begin to praise the sun.

In the eleventh scene, the person who was previously wearing a black cloak leads people to spread their arms towards the sun, and everyone builds a sunrise statue.

The twelfth image is blurry and appears to have been deliberately destroyed.

Ria frowned slightly as she looked at the remaining murals. There were fifteen murals in total, but murals twelve, thirteen, and fourteen were all illegible and severely damaged.

The last image is a sculpture of a radiant rising sun, brightly colored, but when Ria brought the light close to it, the bright colors suddenly changed dramatically.
