Chapter 108 The City Lord of Canglan City

"Zi Dong, may I meet the Dao Ancestor Donglai?" Pei Wende did not answer, but made a request.

"Does the Eastern Dao Ancestor think he can be met by anyone?!" Feng Qingwu shouted sharply from inside the city gate. She and Zhou Xinyu landed inside the city.

"Lord Pei, you should see Hall Master Sikong first," Zi Dong quickly interrupted, leading Pei Wende towards the Lord's mansion.

"Aren't you going?" Zhou Xinyu looked at Feng Qingwu, who was standing still, with surprise.

"Let's give Pei Wende some face!" Feng Qingwu said with a cold smile.

"What face are you talking about?!" Zhou Xinyu was taken aback, not knowing what Feng Qingwu meant.

"Master Sikong will definitely reprimand Pei Wende. If we're there, where will he put his face?!" Feng Qingwu seemed to already see Sikong Bo scolding someone. "Then I won't go either." Zhou Xinyu nodded in realization. Having too many people would indeed make Pei Wende lose face.

The city lord's mansion is not yet completed; only a framework has been erected. The cultivators of the Yuntian Sect are building it under the guidance of the craftsmen.
