Ran Mouri looked left and right, and hesitated, saying, "I have a feeling that someone is watching us."

Upon hearing this, Conan also began to look around. Suddenly, his gaze stopped and fell on one of the corners.

—It was an inconspicuous alley, and there was a rather large box in the alley.

"This size, this material, and the location of those flaws... if I remember correctly, these are the wooden crates that those two suspicious deliverymen just took away."

Conan paused for a moment, then looked up at the amusement park employee sitting on the box, thinking to himself, "Why is there only one person left? I remember they were traveling in pairs just now."

But I never expected that the suspicious big box that I lost track of at the water park would actually be found here by chance.

"This is a golden opportunity; it's the perfect chance to peek inside the box!"

—Ran and Officer Sato are both here, and it's broad daylight—perfect for dealing with criminals. Conan assessed the situation, decisively pointed in that direction, and prepared to exclaim, "How strange!"

But just then, he saw the employee sitting on the box and suddenly froze.

— He was a man wearing a dark blue work uniform, his baseball cap pulled low over his head. People were coming and going on the path, but he seemed uninterested in the bustling street. He was sitting quietly on a box, fiddling with his phone.

Conan was so focused on the boxes that he suddenly realized, upon closer inspection of the person on them, that compared to the two employees who carried the boxes out of the coffee shop, this employee was wearing brand new clothes, looked younger, and most importantly... the lower half of his face looked very familiar!
"..." Wait a minute, upon closer inspection, isn't that Jiang Xia?!

Conan abruptly withdrew his hand from that direction, swallowing back the "How strange!" that was about to come out of his mouth.

Looking around, Conan was relieved to find no one paying attention. While the others were busy studying the information plaques, he stealthily slipped into the alley.

The closer you get, the clearer it becomes that this is indeed Jiangxia.

When he stopped in front of the "employee" and saw the face under the hat, Conan finally recognized him and breathed a sigh of relief: "It really is you. I almost didn't recognize you because you changed your clothes—what are you doing here?"

Jiang Xia put down her phone and greeted the unexpectedly appearing mini-detective: "Since we're all at the amusement park, of course I'm here to have fun."

Conan stared at his employee uniform, speechless for a moment: "Wearing an employee uniform to play? — Is your unscrupulous boss making you work in his place again?"

"No, not at all." Jiang Xia smiled. "I found this uniform."

Conan: "...Found it?"

He suddenly remembered something and looked down at the box that Jiang Xia was sitting on: "What's inside this?"

Jiang Xia patted the lid of the box: "There's a person inside."

Conan: "Oh...a person??"

He glared at his neighbor with a look that said, "Are you kidding me?" Then he looked down into the gap in the box and actually managed to vaguely catch a glimpse of a figure!
"You...he...you..." Conan was extremely shocked. Although he had a vague premonition of something bad, he still couldn't help but ask after seeing it with his own eyes, "What have you done!"

Jiang Xia retorted, "What do you mean I did something? I just happened to find this box. If you don't believe me, ask the person inside."

"He can still talk?" Conan asked incredulously, adjusting his watch and letting the flashlight beam shine through the gap in the box...

Then you see a “park employee” lying peacefully unconscious, with the lingering baton marks on his neck.

Conan: "..."

What do you mean "pick up"?! You clearly beat him up and stuffed him in there!! The evidence hasn't even been erased yet!

but……

Conan shifted his angle, pressing his eye against the box to peek inside, and belatedly realized something: "Isn't this one of those two suspicious employees who were carrying boxes in the coffee shop earlier...? Where's his accomplice? Did you discover they were transporting contraband and stop them?"

"It's not exactly contraband," Jiang Xia silently defended himself.

Conan sensed something and said uncertainly, "They're transporting...it wouldn't be you, would it?"

Jiang Xia: "..."

He didn't answer, but just reached out and patted the box: "Anyway, this guy isn't normal. He probably has more than one accomplice. I just want to take him with me first and see if I can attract anything."

Conan: "Who else does he have in common?" Then he suddenly realized something, "Could it be that suspicious plush bear?"

Jiang Xia nodded deeply.

Conan's expression turned serious: "So, you mean there's a group planning to kidnap you?"

Could it be that the Black Organization is finally planning to take down this detective? Or are there other outlaws preparing to retaliate against Jiang Xia?
After taking stock of the people who might be able to deal with Jiang Xia, Conan felt a headache coming on, realizing the wonderfulness of the usual three-choice-one-out system.

Just as he was racking his brains trying to figure out who would dare to attack a detective in broad daylight, a figure suddenly darted past him, appearing like an arrow in front of Jiang Xia, and then exclaimed in surprise, "Jiang Xia!"

“…” Conan looked up and saw Sonoko Suzuki’s delighted face.

"It really is you!" Sonoko Suzuki thought to herself, "No wonder I felt there was something good in this direction." She looked curiously at Jiang Xia's unusual color outfit. "Why are you wearing an amusement park uniform? Could it be..."

The high school girl, engrossed in writing game scripts, looked around and lowered her voice: "Is there some outlaw in this amusement park, so you're planning to go undercover and find them out?"

Jiang Xia wanted to shake his head, but then thought the statement sounded cool, so he nodded instead: "The atmosphere in the amusement park today is indeed a bit strange."

Sonoko Suzuki's eyes lit up: "But it's too boring to just hide in the corner all the time, and everyone else is playing while you're sitting here quietly. Taking it out will only make you more conspicuous. Look, people over there are already trying to get your contact information—how about this, you can sneak into our tour group and pretend you're our paid personal tour guide!"

Conan: "..." What kind of dedicated tour guide? You just want to find an excuse to openly increase the number of handsome guys in the group, don't you?

The three of them were chatting idly in an alley.

In front of the information sign, Suzuki Sonoko suddenly exclaimed "Huh?" and ran off in a certain direction with delight. The other three followed her and looked over.

Matsuda Jinpei looked at the familiar figure on the box with a longing gaze: Come back quickly! Take over the puppet!
