Chapter 2545 Domain of Law
Chapter 2545 Domain of Law
What is the legal domain?
Qin Sang had seen descriptions of the legal domain in some ancient books, and some of the descriptions were quite similar.
It is said that after merging with the Dao, a cultivator can "replace the will of Heaven with my own heart," influencing the Heavenly Dao of the external world with my own Heavenly Dao, thereby transforming the environment of this world into the shape I desire.
The mountains and rivers of this world, as well as the living beings and cultivators living in this world, will be affected by the changes in the Heavenly Dao, and may even undergo some illogical changes.
The battles between cultivators at the Void Refinement stage are earth-shattering, possessing the power to overturn mountains and seas. However, when cultivators at the Integration stage make their move, others may not be able to perceive the terrifying phenomena. Even if the surrounding world is turned upside down, they will think that this is how they were born.
At this point, cultivators can dominate this world, creating favorable conditions for themselves, thus gaining an advantageous position when fighting against others.
The Law Domain is a divine ability that only cultivators at the Integration Stage can comprehend. Once a cultivator at the Refinement Stage truly comprehends the Law Domain, they are not far from breaking through to the next level. Would such a classic text left behind by a powerful being be easily circulated?
The reason why those famous sects and powerful families have been able to continue for generations and remain prosperous is not only because they have accumulated profound knowledge of cultivation techniques and external objects, but also because of the valuable experience and insights left by countless predecessors and sages. These are not to be passed on to outsiders, and only direct disciples within the sect are qualified to view them.
The ancient texts that Qin Sang saw may not have been written by a great master; they were more likely the writer's conjectures or fragments heard from a great master. They cannot be entirely believed, but they can still offer some insights.
In the process of comprehending the Dharma Domain, Qin Sang was able to obtain guidance from three places: the void domain evolved from the Heavenly Lock and the Earthly Ring, the sword light given by Master Tianyue, and the Seven Souls Killing Array, a divine power from the Purple Star Sword Scripture.
The illusory realm manifested by the spirit treasure is the 'simplest,' its key lies in the word 'confinement'.
This kind of 'trapping' is not about using some kind of power to bind the enemy, or using some kind of restriction to seal the enemy. The enemy will naturally be trapped when he comes into contact with the golden light of the void.
When an enemy tries to break the power that 'binds' him, he will find that the power does not exist at all. No matter what supernatural powers or spells he uses, or how much he has learned in his life, he will not be able to find a way to restrain the golden light of the Void Domain, unless he can also use the supernatural powers of the Void Domain.
Only the Law Domain can restrain the Law Domain, because it involves the level of the Dao, a higher level.
The Tao that can be told is not the eternal Tao; the name that can be named is not the eternal name.
Although cultivators who have already entered the Dao have been pursuing it, the supernatural powers they can use can still be 'named'.
The Void Domain is inferior. If the Law Domain is likened to the moon in the sky, the Void Domain is like the moon's reflection in a lake. Therefore, if the opponent has extremely strong power or has the opportunity to directly target the spiritual treasure itself, it can still be broken.
'Simple' implies 'shallow'. The powerful alien who crafted the Heaven-Binding Golden Lock and the Earth-Imprisoning Divine Ring must have solidified them into a divine power and infused them into a spiritual treasure.
If Qin Sang and that powerful alien were to cultivate the same lineage, perhaps they could gain some insights from it. However, these two treasures have been in Qin Sang's hands for so many years, and he has made great contributions to the war. Yet, Qin Sang still doesn't know what kind of 'Dao' these treasures contain, nor can he comprehend the mysteries of the 'Void Domain' from them. He knows what they are but not why they are.
This virtual domain is most consistent with the descriptions in the classic texts. The virtual domain used by the ten princes of the North Sea Dragon Palace was also somewhat similar.
Then came the sword light bestowed by Master Tianyue, which had been of the greatest help to Qin Sang, containing Master Tianyue's understanding of the sword domain.
A single sword light could not contain all of Tianyue Shangren's swordsmanship; it was too profound for Qin Sang to comprehend. However, it was far more profound than the golden light of the Void Domain and perfectly matched the sword formation path that Qin Sang had chosen.
The sword light contained, however, a pure sword domain!
If Qin Sang follows the previous plan smoothly and creates the Four Symbols and Nine Luminaries Sword Formation, and then uses this sword formation as a foundation to comprehend the sword domain with the help of sword light, it will be a bright path.
However, things rarely go as planned. Forced by circumstances, Qin Sang was compelled to 'abandon herself'. If she continued to comprehend the Sword Domain, she would only stray further from the right path.
The Purple Star Sword Scripture cultivates the path of killing!
If Qin Sang were given enough time to first comprehend the Sword Domain and grasp the true meaning of the Law Domain, then turn back to cultivate the Path of Slaughter, it might not be a bad path, but that is obviously impossible.
Qin Sang had always been worried that a major war would break out before he had completed his mission, and it was already very commendable that all the forces had been able to endure until now.
Therefore, the former two can only be used as a reference, and the only hope lies in the Seven Souls Killing Formation.
In the cultivation world, every cultivator is familiar with formations. Whether they are human, witch, or demon, all races know how to use spirit formations and have extremely high levels of expertise in them.
In the natural world, natural formations can also evolve, some of which are extremely mysterious and even become forbidden or dangerous places, causing cultivators to hesitate to enter.
For example, the simplest one is the quicksand formation that a Qi Refining cultivator can set up. By using the environment, spirit stones, and various spiritual materials, the earth is turned into quicksand, trapping enemies in it, and the natural environment can also be altered.
Is there anything in common between formations and magic domains?
When the Ziwei Sword Scripture was created, it left behind the Seven Souls Killing Array, which became a guide for successors to comprehend the Dharma Domain. Could this be the reason?
In the cave.
Qin Sang stood still with his eyes closed, surrounded by seven illusory figures, which were his seven sword souls.
These sword souls were once his seven souls, which merged with the seven killing talismans to become sword souls.
The fusion of the Killing Talisman and the Seven Souls does not mean that they no longer exist; now his Seven Souls can be regarded as seven Killing Talismans.
Among all the cultivators who practice the path of killing, Qin Sang is a rare anomaly. He does not have an overwhelming bloodlust. Unless it involves a struggle for opportunities, he always adheres to the principle of "I will not offend others unless they offend me." Even if someone offends him, he will not retaliate indiscriminately.
While the Kingdom of Kakusho may appear to be a sanctuary, it is actually plagued by constant troubles. In a chaotic world, the peaceful Kingdom of Kakusho is an anomaly, attracting countless attempts to drag it down, resulting in constant open and covert attacks.
If Qin Sang were vindictive, he would have long since become a tyrant, sweeping across the land.
At this moment, when Qin Sang activated the killing talisman, his heart was filled with killing intent, and all sorts of horrific scenes appeared before his eyes.
The soldiers of the Horned Kingdom were ambushed by an enemy of unknown origin and died with their eyes wide open in disbelief.
The people of the Horned Kingdom were slaughtered by foreign bandits, and they screamed in agony before they died.
Merchants and envoys from the country of Horned Beasts died mysteriously while abroad.
……
When his mind wanders throughout the land of Horned Beasts, comprehending the Mahayana path, he will also be influenced, and his murderous intent will be stirred within him.
With the jade Buddha protecting his mind, Qin Sang was able to maintain a peaceful state of mind, but he was very curious about how the Purple Star Sword Master had managed to do it back then.
Before becoming the Purple Star Sword Master, anyone else would probably have become a demon controlled by murderous intent, and would have been slain by righteous people.
Now, Qin Sang had a guess: Could it be that the Purple Star Sword Master sealed his killing intent within the Killing Talisman? He used the Killing Talisman and the Sword Soul to bear the erosion of the killing intent for him, thus maintaining a sliver of clarity in his mind until the moment of breakthrough, when he could completely control the killing intent.
This is what Ziwei Tongzi once said—kill oneself!
Qin Sang had this thought because his progress in comprehending the Seven Souls Killing Formation was slow, and he began to wonder if he was still lacking something.
What Qin Sang lacks is likely killing intent!
I have never heard of another person in the world who cultivates the Way of Slaughter like him. How can someone without the will to kill comprehend the Way of Slaughter?
"Is it really because the killing intent is insufficient?"
Qin Sang looked around at the seven sword spirits around him. Should he go out and kill them all before returning to seclusion?
'Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!'
The seven sword spirits instantly returned to their positions, and Qin Sang slowly descended the mountain.
He had no idea how many years had passed outside. Recently, he had been in seclusion for hundreds of years at a time, yet he could not feel the passage of time.
His cultivation speed is already considered fast.
While cultivators at the Void Refinement stage may seem to have long lifespans, they actually spend the vast majority of their time in tedious cultivation, with only a minority indulging in pleasure.
Halfway up the mountain, the little Qilin sensed Qin Sang's emergence from seclusion and jumped out from somewhere. Qin Sang reached out and patted its head, and the little Qilin happily hopped around him.
The little Qilin recently broke through to the mid-stage of the Void Refinement realm. Its cultivation speed is not as fast as before, but it is still enough to make ordinary cultivators envious.
Inside the cave, spiritual light flickered, and Qin Sang and the little Qilin appeared out of thin air.
Stepping out of the cave, it was just the time when the windstorm had subsided. The stars shone brightly in the sky. Qin Sang and the little Qilin looked up at the stars. For over a thousand years, no matter when they came out to observe, the direction indicated by the stars had never changed, clearly pointing to Feng Mo!
Qin Sang nodded to the little Qilin, who shook its head, squatted down on the ground, and closed its eyes.
Gradually, its fur turned into flames, and its whole body became like a torch, with crimson flames floating and leaping.
Qin Sang waved her hand to shield the strange phenomenon and waited quietly for a while. The spiritual fire around the little Qilin gradually subsided, and it woke up with a disappointed expression on its face, gently shaking its head.
Every so often, Qin Sang would release the little Qilin and let it sense things with its supernatural powers, and the result was always the same.
"We still need to go to Fengmo..."
Qin Sang was actually a little hesitant. He suspected that the Dragon and Phoenix clans had been eyeing Feng Mo for a long time, and it was only by chance that they hadn't been exposed before.
After learning the truth, Qin Sang no longer dared to plot against Feng Mo. She only left a few spies around Feng Mo to send back messages from time to time.
The little Qilin couldn't stay outside for too long, so Qin Sang let it out for a while before bringing it back into the little cave.
After thinking for a moment, Qin Sang turned and walked towards a quiet room next to her. When she reached the door, she triggered the restriction.
"who!"
The voice of the Earth God could be heard coming from inside.
"it's me."
Before Qin Sang could finish speaking, the door to the quiet room opened by itself, and Di Xinggong quickly stepped forward to greet him.
"Greetings, Lord."
"No need for formalities," Qin Sang stepped inside, sizing up Di Xinggong, "How's the progress?"
After avenging Di Xinggong, Qin Sang taught him the "Heavenly Demon Refining Form" technique. Di Xinggong adopted this method and has been cultivating here using the Nourishing Nature Platform.
It was a rare opportunity to meet Qin Sang, so Di Xinggong first asked about the difficulties he had encountered before, and then described in detail his experiences and feelings during his cultivation process.
"Heavenly Demon Refining Form" and the cultivation method that Earthwalker Gong practiced before are both demon cultivation methods, and both can cultivate a Dharma form, but they have essential differences.
The Dharma form that Di Xinggong cultivated before could replace the physical body in battle, but its true function was to assist in body refinement, relying on his own physical body from beginning to end. However, "Heavenly Demon Refinement" is different. The Dharma form is the foundation, and it even requires taking the essence of the physical body and merging it into the Dharma form, thereby achieving the realm of demon soul residing in the star.
The two are exactly reversed.
Di Xinggong changed his cultivation method to "Heavenly Demon Refining Form," which required him to cultivate himself in reverse. Fortunately, his original realm was still intact, and with the help of the treasure Yangxing Platform, his progress was not slow. He had already cultivated to the early stage of the sixth level, which was equivalent to the early stage of the Refining Void realm, just one step away from his original realm.
Qin Sang was concerned about the Earthly Star's destiny.
Upon hearing Qin Sang's question, Di Xinggong looked puzzled: "Reporting to my lord, I believe I sensed the Destiny Star, but when I tried to search for it, all I found was chaos..."
The Earthly Star is also a hidden star!
This can't be a coincidence.
Qin Sang was greatly encouraged. This showed that the problem with Hidden Star was not his own, but the problem with his cultivation technique!
However, when Qin Sang inquired about Di Xing Gong in detail, she discovered that there were differences between him and Di Xing Gong.
"Why is this so?"
According to Di Xinggong's description, his perception of the Destiny Star was even more vague than that of Qin Sang, who was at the same realm back then.
Logically, this shouldn't be the case.
Because Di Xinggong only cultivated the "Heavenly Demon Refining Form" technique, he was single-minded and allowed the Dharma body to seize his physical essence. Qin Sang, on the other hand, cultivated multiple techniques, and "Heavenly Demon Refining Form" was not her main focus; she had never intended to abandon her physical body.
Even if Di Xinggong had no cultivation before, at the same level, his Dharma form should have been more refined and powerful than Qin Sang's, and his perception of the destiny star should have been clearer.
Why is there such a difference between techniques obtained from bone flutes? Could it be related to bloodlines?
Qin Sang thought of a possibility.
In the cultivation world, there has never been a concept of equality among all things; the bloodlines of the Dragon and Phoenix races are evident to all. From ancient times to the present, those renowned divine beasts have innate supernatural powers that are stronger than ordinary demonic beasts, and there are countless stories of low-level divine beasts defeating ordinary high-level demonic beasts.
He himself possessed the bloodline of the Azure Phoenix, while the Earthwalker's true form was merely a leopard cat. Perhaps it was this difference in bloodline that led to this outcome.
Fortunately, Di Xinggong can sense his destiny star, and it should become clearer once his cultivation level increases.
After giving Di Xinggong some more pointers, Qin Sang told him to continue cultivating in peace before quietly leaving the Five Thunder Sect headquarters to make a trip to Fengmo.
He did not take advantage of the eye of the storm, but flew slowly and steadily over the country of Jiaosheng.
As he passed by the immortal cities and gazed upon the peaceful and prosperous people of Jiaosheng Kingdom, who had found precious tranquility amidst the chaos of the world, Qin Sang realized that he had created all of this. His doubts about the Mahayana path seemed less intense.
However, before achieving these accomplishments, Qin Sang had "seen" countless bloody and desperate faces. Regardless of their cultivation level, he had personally thrown them into the battlefield. They may have been forgotten by the world, but he could not forget them.
"The Mahayana path..."
The faint sighs drifted away on the wind.
Soon, Qin Sang arrived at the edge of the desert.
