Chapter 3884 A Busy Afternoon
Chapter 3884 A Busy Afternoon
Seeing Sylvie make such a gesture, Shad smiled and asked:
"Are you sure? Last night, you fell asleep in just half an hour."
Thinking about what happened last night, the witch, who had just tasted the delicious snacks, naturally went to Shad's room again, but because she was too excited, she didn't behave very well.
She blushed and defended herself:
“Meghan has experience, and I’ll learn it too. How will you know if you don’t try?”
But this time it only took twenty minutes. Feeling like she had turned into clay that Shad could knead at will, Sevi pushed him away:
"I'm not feeling well today. I was too tired from fishing earlier, and the room is too cold."
She defended herself by pushing Shad toward the bathroom:
"Go check on the others, I think I'll take a nap."
He actually fell asleep on the bed, and five minutes later, Miss Hayley Aurora, whom Shad had summoned after washing up, entered the room after carefully knocking on the door.
The smell in the room made her blush and her heart race—though she didn't know what it meant. The sight of her teacher, covered by a blanket in the warm room, made her cover her mouth and let out a soft scream.
The sound woke Sylvie from her light sleep. As she sat up, the blanket slipped off her smooth skin, allowing little Miss Aurora to see even more:
"Teacher, are you okay?"
Sevier wasn't alarmed; the apprentice would find out about this sooner or later anyway.
"Had has already left, right? Help me to the restroom."
"Okay, teacher, you're all set, right?"
The witch apprentice was filled with unease.
"It's alright, the witch's curse has absolutely no effect on Shad. Just now, I displayed my witch's charm to the fullest, and Shad was completely captivated by me~"
But the young brown-haired girl felt that her teacher seemed to have said the opposite.
After leaving Sylvie, Shad heard Vanessa and Flora talking in the corridor. Following the sound, he arrived at the lounge upstairs in the banquet hall, where he saw three girls in front of and behind an easel.
Silris watched Vanessa and Flora "bargaining" with a helpless expression. Vanessa's current offer was that the clothing could be less, but the bottom and top had to be complete, and it could even be the kind of clothing that Sylvia brought that used the least amount of fabric.
The "celestial painter's" opinion is that one can use their arms to cover up, but clothing is absolutely forbidden.
"What are you talking about? Why are you all wearing swimsuits? Did you just come back from the pool?"
Shad stood at the door and asked curiously. Vanessa immediately shut her mouth, while Flora, with her long gray-black hair, pointed to the easel:
“Vanessa wanted me to paint an oil painting of her and Hillis, but I told her that Hillis could just read and write down her memories, which would be much faster than me painting them.”
She was just making an excuse, but Vanessa blinked:
"correct."
So the blonde opera singer said to her colleague:
"Alright then, Flora, you don't need to stay here. Go find Ellie and little Leona to play with."
"Wait a minute, you seem to think of me as one of those two unicorns."
Despite saying that, Flora, curious about what the little unicorns looked like now, hurriedly left the room. Before leaving, she kissed Shad on the cheek at the door, gave Vanessa a provocative look, and then entered the corridor.
Sirius then smiled and said:
"Flora just said she would paint a celestial oil painting for us, but Vanessa just wants to document this swimsuit."
"I knew you'd say anything to Shad."
Vanessa complained to her friend, then glanced at the corridor behind Shad before suggesting:
"So, Shad, do you want to draw it?"
"Hmm? What should I draw?"
The blonde witch in the swimsuit spun around on the spot and said with a smile:
“We didn’t get Flora to draw anything really beautiful just now.”
Now it was Sirius's turn to blush, but she only complained softly and did not object.
Xia De thought back to when he used to paint on this ship, except that the girl he painted back then is now the owner of this ship.
“Vanessa, Hillis, I admit I’d love to do this, but the problem is, I can’t draw.”
Although it was Shade who painted in the "Sea of No Light," he was being manipulated.
Vanessa knew, of course, that Shad couldn't paint. She would be unhappy if Shad actually started painting after she took off her clothes.
"Then I won't draw anything, I'll just let you admire it, how about that?"
She beckoned to Xia De with her finger, a seductive expression on her face.
Sirius then smiled and said:
"You have half an hour, Vanessa. Don't go too far."
"Silris, perhaps..."
"Vanessa, I don't want half an hour."
The young blonde girl walked towards the door, where she kissed Shad passionately for a long time before gracefully closing the door and leaving.
The witch, also blonde but more mature, pouted and complained:
"Hercules is really something. He didn't want to participate, but he still insisted on being the first to eat."
"I've always been curious, is comparing me to a snack a strange hobby you all share?"
Vanessa reached behind her back to untie the ties, tilting her neck slightly as the dress fell to the ground:
"So, Shad, would you like some snacks now?"
The afternoon tea snacks were delicious, and although it was only half an hour, Vanessa's hospitality was excellent.
Xia De's next stop was a hot spring. It's normal for such a luxury cruise ship to have a private hot spring cabin, especially since this ship even has an opera house.
That afternoon, most of those soaking in the hot springs were relatively mature young women. Unlike the seventeen- or eighteen-year-old girls who wanted to bring the winter to a perfect close, Galina simply wanted to close her eyes and peacefully spend the afternoon after her tiring official duties.
However, after Xia De appeared, she immediately pulled him into the water, and then, ignoring the stares of the other girls present, leaned directly into Xia De's arms:
"That's so unfair."
"What's unfair?"
Shade thought she knew what had just happened, but then the duchess poked the water sphere next to her, almost making the black-haired head maid cry out.
"That's what's unfair."
Shade didn't know how to comfort her, so he put his arm around her and gave Tifa an apologetic look. The usually poised head maid, of course, didn't mind her mistress's occasional whims. She simply smiled gently at Shade, then opened her red lips slightly with a meaningful look.
Galina sensed the change in someone almost immediately:
"Seriously, am I that charming?"
She whispered, then pulled Xia De up from the hot spring:
"I'm feeling a bit dizzy from soaking in the water. Come with me for a walk. Tifa, you don't need to come with me, I'll probably..."
"half an hour?"
Shade asked tentatively, and Galina immediately nodded:
"Yes, half an hour."
“Jalina, I think we should go for another forty minutes. I’ll go with you to relax and also report to Xia De on the current spatial situation of the snow mountain.”
Sylvia, who hadn't spoken until now, also stood up. The two great witches exchanged glances to confirm that they were of the same mind, and then left, each taking Shad's arm on one side.
They were indeed very punctual; they said they would be back in forty minutes, and they returned together forty minutes later.
"Miss, didn't Xia De come back with you?"
As they comfortably entered the hot springs again, Tifa asked. Although the illusion concealed some marks on her skin, the head maid still recognized the familiar scent up close.
Galina, feeling completely refreshed, replied:
“They were supposed to come back with us, but we ran into Megan and Audrey on the way. They said they had some things to discuss with Shad, so they took Shad away.”
The head maid then kindly reminded her:
"Miss, weren't you planning to have a big late-night snack tonight? You ate too much this afternoon, won't you run out of food for supper?"
She was somewhat worried about Shad, but the maids had only sampled the small treats; the witches were the ones who truly enjoyed the main course. Sylvia was in a good mood at the moment, so she joined the conversation:
"Don't worry about that, the kitchen is well-prepared. Even if we ate as much as we wanted, we still couldn't finish it all!"
So Shad didn't have a moment's peace all afternoon, and by the time he came out of the room with Megan and Audrey, it was almost dinnertime.
Dinner was ingeniously arranged on the deck. Miss Eliza used magic to create an eggshell shield on the deck with a transparent barrier to block the cold air, and then adjusted the temperature on the deck to a level suitable for wearing an evening gown.
The deck was very large, so in addition to the long table in the very center where Shad and the important girls sat, there were other tables and chairs for the witch's followers.
Sylvie lavishly arranged the banquet, while Shad cast a spell to brighten the starlight and moonlight overhead. Combined with the golden candlesticks placed among the gold and silver dishes on the long table, the lighting was more than sufficient, even without gas lamps.
"It's very romantic."
Lacey, elegantly handling the lobster with a knife and fork, remarked that the air outside was wonderful, and the Milky Way stretched overhead. Even Her Highness was captivated by the pleasant atmosphere of the evening.
"Perhaps such celebratory banquets can become the norm in the future."
Shad had no objection to this. He was cutting the tentacles of a giant squid that was supposedly fished out of the deep sea by mermaid girls. He then put a small piece on the plate of Mia, who was sitting obediently on his left, and another small piece on the plate of Ellie, who was sitting on a high stool and leaning against him on his right.
The cat, who didn't particularly like fish, sniffed it, lowered its head, and swallowed it. Ellie, with a white napkin tied around her neck by Emilia, reached out to grab it, hesitated for a moment, then picked up her fork, put the squid tentacles in her mouth, chewed them a couple of times, and then reached for the apple pieces that were being used as decoration next to the plate of squid tentacles.
