Chapter 3866 Harmonious Relationship
Chapter 3866 Harmonious Relationship
"Xia...Xia De, shall we call it a day this time?"
"Then I'll take you back."
"I can go back by myself. Goodnight."
The moon was still the same three moons, but some time later, Emilia, blushing, pushed Shad away, said a simple goodbye, and flew away as if fleeing.
Shad stood under the tree watching Emilia's departing figure, wondering if he had gone too far.
In the shadows of the mountain where the moonlight couldn't reach, Galina and Vanessa emerged together. Shad knew it was them without turning around:
"I thought you guys would just walk out."
The duchess smiled as she looked at him under the tree:
“We had originally planned to do that, but you once said something very beautiful—a young girl’s heart is always poetic. Besides, what happened this morning wasn’t Emilia’s fault. We originally wanted to show up at the crucial moment, but in the end we didn’t disturb her.”
She also looked in the direction Emilia had left:
"She reminded me of the romance novels I read when I was only fifteen or sixteen years old."
"So when did you first appear?"
Shad turned to them and asked, Vanessa smiled and teased:
"Are you really that serious? Well, we came from when we were little bunnies with an elven flavor. We thought you only liked big desserts, but it turns out you like little apples too."
Even Shad was a little embarrassed at this moment, but Galina and Vanessa were already used to this kind of thing. Compared to the shy little elves, they had done all sorts of things:
"You were so gentle just now. Emilia is probably going to change her clothes. I was just wondering how far you two would go, but it seems Emilia isn't very brave after all."
As she spoke, Galina walked up to Shad:
"So, Shad, having grown accustomed to plump melons, how about a tart little apple?"
Even after Emilia transformed into a great elf, her figure was only enough to make Adelina envious; in the eyes of the witches, it was nothing special.
“Jalina, let’s not discuss this.”
The two witches laughed and then left with Shad.
Night had fallen, and it was time to rest after returning to the ship. Galina returned to Topsk alone, and she probably wouldn't come back here again until the victory celebration party before the Radiant Messenger departed.
Vanessa gave Shad a strange look, and then they parted ways.
When Shad returned to his cabin, Sylvie was indeed already there, except for the cat who had remained curled up and motionless all night. The Great Witch of the Thirteenth Order of Light was wearing a thin white nightgown, the style of which was quite similar to what she wore in that world of illusion and reality.
Shad raised an eyebrow, then gently closed the door.
"Sevi, have you been waiting for me long?"
The only light in the room was on the floor lamp next to the sofa. Sylvie, who had been curled up on the sofa and reading a book by the light of the lamp and the fireplace, jumped off the sofa and walked barefoot on the carpet toward him.
The witch opened her arms and wrapped them around Shad's neck, then leaned on his shoulder. The cat in its bed on the coffee table opened one eye and looked at them, then immediately got up and went into the bedroom, knowing that if it didn't go in soon, it might not be able to get in again.
"It didn't take too long for the moon to appear."
She looked up at Shad, a subtle melancholy in her beautiful, dark gold eyes, and said softly:
“I noticed that Galina, Vanessa, Megan, and Sylvia all have the Moon Mark. Dorothy, Lacia, and Luvia too.”
Her eyes held not blame, but deep regret:
"I don't compare myself to ordinary girls, but before me, four witches had already made their move! I was only the second one to meet you!"
Shad felt guilty about the hasty parting last night. Now, as he held Sylvie close, the atmosphere instantly returned to the disturbed night before:
"You spoke with Jialina and the others during the day today, right?"
"Before you came back this afternoon, the four of them dragged me and Luvia to have afternoon tea. Honestly, even if they hadn't said anything, I would have known I needed to talk to Luvia. But Luvia was really amazing this time. Before you returned to the battlefield, it was all thanks to her and the three demigod witches who held the line."
Sylvie's tone was less resentful, but she still complained softly, though it sounded more like she was pouting at her lover:
"I originally guessed that Jialina would be unable to resist stealing food. After all, anyone can guess the outcome of having a fox guard the chicken coop and a monkey guard the peach orchard."
But I never expected even Sylvia to have such audacity! Luckily, I found an opportunity this time; otherwise, if I lost to Galina and then to Bella, Flora, and Claire, I would have no face to attend council meetings anymore.
"These things don't really have a priority order. It's my fault for being too greedy, but now that I've got it, I'm definitely not going to let it go."
"We will absolutely not let go."
Sylvie looked into Shad's eyes:
"It has been two years since I met you in the autumn of 1853 in Coldwater Harbour. Whenever I think about the two years of my life that I have wasted, the pain I feel is even more painful than knowing that Galina and the others really did steal the food."
"so?"
Sylvie blinked:
"Want to continue? Oh! Yes, I sense your answer."
So the door, which was closed at 11 p.m. that night, remained closed until the clock struck midnight. Vanessa and Megan, clutching their pillows, appeared right on time at the door of Shad's room—Sylvia was in the tower helping Winnie quell the abnormal spacetime disturbance on the mountaintop.
The door wasn't locked, so the two witches opened it a crack and slipped inside.
"Look, are there so few clothes on the ground? Sevi is braver than we thought!"
"Can you smell it? I like this scent."
"Oh~ Xiaomia has been relegated to the living room again."
"But why is there no sound? Sylvie doesn't seem like the type to use a silence spell on her own initiative."
The two women entered the bedroom laughing, and Sylvie, who had been slumped over the bed, showed no anger at their intrusion; instead, she stretched out her arms as if to help.
"Why did you take so long to arrive? Please help us."
“It’s only been an hour, Sylvie, you really are Vanessa, I knew it would be like this.”
Megan and Vanessa walked towards her, their nightgowns still on the carpet. Shad reached out and took their hands, and then they began playing games together.

When she woke up on Sunday morning, Xivi stared blankly at the unfamiliar ceiling, and it took her several seconds to fully remember everything that had happened the night before.
Shad's voice came from the bathroom, urging the awakened witches to get ready for breakfast. Sylvie breathed slowly with a somewhat dazed look in her eyes, before glancing at Vanessa and Megan lazily getting up on either side of her.
Both colleagues looked quite well. Although Sevi felt a little hoarse, she still asked:
"Was this always the case for you?"
Vanessa stretched out her arms lazily, like a golden female cat:
"Of course. Judging from yesterday's situation, you think one person is enough, right? But after fighting the battle of destiny, Shad is indeed more..."
"tasty."
The Witch of Wisdom and Knowledge reminded Vanessa of this, and Vanessa smiled in agreement:
"Yes, delicious. Sylvie, you and Shad didn't go all the way before, but you've still had some intimate moments, so what's there to be shy about?"
Since maids were not suitable for such occasions, Megan reached out and handed Vanessa and Sylvie the clothes that Shad had restored after reversing time.
The witch with long, wavy brown hair finally sat up, threw back the covers, and paused for a moment to completely pull herself out of the memories of last night. She then glanced in the direction of the bathroom and asked in a low voice:
"What have you been doing these past two years? When I first met Xia De, he would blush after saying just a few words to me."
Vanessa compared the two NE.I. outfits, and after determining that hers was more advantageous, she handed Sylvie's to her:
“We’re not the first, you should ask Luvia and Galina about that. But everyone knows that Shad has a strong learning ability, and I can show you some skills you wouldn’t even imagine in the future.”
She paused for a moment, then said to Megan:
“Meghan, you sisters need to control your weight. Last night, you two were really putting me under your weight.”
Meghan retorted in a good mood:
"Don't talk nonsense, I've always been slim. And I was being overpowered by Sylvia back then, but I didn't complain."
Sylvie blushed a little at these words, but Vanessa and Megan were already used to it. Vanessa finally asked her:
"So, it's your turn to choose, Sylvie. Will you, like the rest of us, keep this secret together, or will you, as you resent, share it so everyone can have a taste?"
Sivi Aurora, holding her clothes, shook her head decisively without a second thought:
“I waited two years! Why are they so quick? Love needs time to be tested. Let Bella and the others have some more time to develop. If they get it too quickly, I’m afraid they won’t cherish it.”
Vanessa and Megan both laughed. Vanessa looked at her moon ring, while Megan remembered that she was the only witch who had taken action immediately after meeting Shad.
"Then, from now on we're a real family."
Vanessa spoke softly again, and Sylvie paused, then nodded gently:
"Yes, before 1853, who could have imagined such a thing happening to this family?"
Vanessa and Megan showed similar expressions, and then Megan asked:
"So, who do you think will be next after Claire?"
"Your Excellency the Speaker, she's become so familiar with the 'Caller of Gods' now."
"I think the moon is more likely. As you know, no moon can escape Shad's grasp."
