Chapter 3860 Playing Cards and Agreements

President Le Norman gestured for Shad to sit down so they could talk. The fireplace was lit in the reception room, and blue skies and white clouds stretched out outside the window. Compared to the day Shad was invited to the island, not only was the weather much better today, but President Le Norman was also in a much better mood.

And so Shad's wish came true; fate had turned, and all of Ms. White's promises were being fulfilled in a reasonable way. He then told the fortune teller about his wish, and the latter smiled and said:

"Perhaps that lady foresaw something, or perhaps all the actions of us mortals were predetermined. But let's not talk about that, Mr. Hamilton, you deserve it all."

"Now I don't have to worry about anyone objecting to my marriage with Jialina."

Shad thanked Chairman Lenorman, then looked at the third item in the box, the Rhodes card with the back facing up:

"This is."

"Yes, it was a deck of cards that the association promised to make privately for the Duke. Because of time constraints, it was printed using special methods, but it is indeed a legitimate Rhodes deck. The certificate of authenticity is at the bottom of the box. This deck can be used in any public tournament."

Shad eagerly took the cards out of the box. On the card, a smiling Galina gazed at Shad through the screen, and below were the rules of this special card—

【Duke Galina of Saladil, Star of Delareon】, Suit: King. When an opponent draws this card, they must roll a six-sided die to get a 3 or higher to continue the special card rule; otherwise, the special card rule is invalid.

"This card is beautiful!"

"Shad exclaimed sincerely," and seeing the genuine smile on Shad's face, Chairman Le Norman was also infected and smiled. Such a pure person always makes people feel good.

"President Le Norman, if there are any more good things like this in the future, please remember to come to me again."

Shad even said that.

"Good thing?"

President Le Norman shook his head:

Fearing that Shad might encounter other dangers on the island, the Prophet Association arranged for Shad to return to the hotel after meeting with Chairman Lenorman. He then packed his meager belongings and, along with Mia, was sent back to Tobesk City by the Association using his belongings.

Local President Stan and Vice President Mark welcomed Shad back to the association on Silver Cross Avenue. Seeing that Shad looked tired, they told him, "If you feel unwell, please go to the association immediately," and then sent a carriage to take him back to No. 6 St. Teresa Square.

Twenty minutes later, Galina's carriage appeared at the entrance of No. 6 St. Delan Square. An hour later, the small purple vial of potion was delivered to Yodel Palace. All of this was witnessed by those who were watching Shad.

As for Xia De, after seeing Galina off, he naturally took Xiaomia back to the snow mountain, since there were still many things to take care of there.

The elves' banquet will be held at 7 p.m. tonight, while Shad will return to Fatummont Island at 4:30 p.m.

When he emerged from beneath the ruins, he looked up and saw that Sylvia's tower had returned to its original position. When Shad entered the tower, Sylvia wasn't there; Margaret was.
“Shad, Teacher Sylvia told me to wait for you here. Miss Winnie needs to see you; she’s in the ruins at the mountaintop.”

Margaret raised her head in Shad's arms:
"Ms. Bennett and Ms. Sylvia told me to return to Willendale tomorrow."

The princess's eyes held a certain expectation, and Shad responded:

“I remember—I’ll visit you in Willendal during the upcoming holiday, once I’ve finished what I need to do.”

Margaret blushed; they both knew what this "meeting" meant:
"I'll give you a few dates; avoid coming back on those dates."

Her face flushed even more, but she still whispered the date in Shad's ear, adding at the end:
"They're usually very accurate, so there shouldn't be any problem."

Shad then kissed her on the forehead:
"I haven't had time to spend with you all this time, but with the war about to begin, I will definitely go this time."

"Are you so impatient?"

The princess in his arms asked softly, and Xia De asked in return:

"So, do you want me to go as soon as possible?"

"Of course I hope so. Shad, really!"

She closed her eyes as she spoke, and the sensible stranger kissed the princess in his arms. Everyone knew that Shad's promise would be kept, so Margaret was in no hurry. After the passionate kiss, she left Shad's embrace.

"Let's go to the top of the mountain. Miss Winnie has something very important to discuss."

Then she bit her lip and looked at Xia De:

"Then, Knight, we'll meet in Velendell."

Hearing Shad's footsteps, Winnie turned and bowed. Shad hadn't thought much of it at first, but when he saw her wink at him, the events of that morning in the "dressing room" suddenly flooded his mind.

Shad banished the memory from his mind, unwilling to desecrate the ancient temple.

"I thought the prophets would be here too."

Shad said, Winnie walked toward him:
"The prophets went to Shangquan."

"Oh?"

Then Shad remembered the spring he hadn't yet visited; it was indeed undamaged in the battle of destiny.

"Now, can Shangquan still be used to condense the Ring of Destiny?"

Winnie nodded:

"The Upper Spring has always had the power to unite destiny, but during the Battle of the Chosen, the probability of candidates uniting their destiny is greatly increased. Now that the Battle of Destiny has ended, it is not so simple to unite destiny through the Upper Spring. People must understand their own destiny, just like the ancient diviners, and come here before taking the final step."

To put it simply, only one or two diviners in the Prophet's Association could truly utilize this. Shad nodded in understanding, but Winnie added:
