Chapter 3822 Candidates and Ring Holders

Chapter 3822 Candidates and Ring Holders

Neither Shad, hovering in front of the snake, nor Iluna, hovering behind it, were disappointed by the sight, for the snake's head emerging from the giant hole was not entirely unharmed. The fact that it had hit and produced an effect meant that this snake was not invincible.

So the two, one in front and one behind, charged up their attack again, and the ring sorcerers who possessed the Ring of Fate and those who counterfeited the Ring of Fate joined the battle.

Emilia flew into the air on her own, and the power of the World Tree sapling held by the crystal statue of the Throne transformed her into the form of a Great Elf. She became the second Chosen One to join the battle after Iluna.

Adele was positioned behind Emilia, accompanied by Sylvie and Vanessa. Sylvie instinctively avoided eye contact with her Speaker, while Vanessa kept glancing at Sylvie with strange looks.

Sylvie then guessed that Vanessa might have used the same method to advance to the thirteenth rank as she had. In fact, it was quite similar, except that Shad didn't have that magical technique back then.

"The last time the council had three thirteenth-tier Great Witches at the same time was in the 800s of the Sixth Era."

The Great Witch of Time smiled and said, though her thoughts were racing, she didn't reveal them. Of course, she didn't ask about the reason for Sylvie's advancement.

"Girls, this time I will fight alongside you."

The power of chaos resonated with the souls of the three thirteenth-tier great witches. The stronger the witches, the stronger the witch council; the stronger the witch council, the stronger the witches. Tonight, she will go all out.

The council's increased power was so great that even Flora, who had leaped up from the temple gate, and Galina and Megan, who were behind the three thirteenth-tier great witches, felt their own strength increase.

At the temple entrance, the others had already taken flight and joined the battle, while Stella, who wasn't very good at flying, looked towards little Leona.

"Ang~"

Although she wanted to help Emilia more, little Leona knew that the white-haired girl in front of her needed help more. So the kind and enthusiastic little unicorn carried her into the sky. Although little Leona was also a little afraid of the big snake, she felt that a certain cat was more frightening.

At the waterfall where the entrance to the upper spring is located, Ms. White, whose body is becoming increasingly transparent, did not join the battle. She simply stood there watching the giant snake emerge from the large hole that was emitting a dim yellow light.

Footsteps approached from behind, and the "priest," holding the [Resilient] Ring of Fate, strode out from behind the waterfall.

Upon waking and seeing the circle, he really wanted to laugh, but not with pride, but with self-mockery. First, he was injured by an unknown sorceress on All Souls' Day, then he was severely wounded by a demon, injured by the aftershocks of the battle against the Fallen Star Beast, and tonight he was poisoned in the fight with Mr. Mortis and has not yet recovered.

In the seventh act of fate, he, the one who held the "script," was the most severely injured, yet the destiny he ultimately forged was "stubborn." Reflecting on his life and his story, even he wondered if this was fate mocking him.

Fortunately, fate had finally brought them together. Looking at the giant serpent, the "priest" understood that the final battle had begun:
"Ms. White, how do we choose the next candidate?"

The priest asked the woman in the white robe, who then replied:

"All surviving candidates gather in the temple and then compare their points. If you don't want to participate in the current battle, you can go directly to the temple and wait; they will all arrive there."

The priest nodded, clearly indicating he had no intention of joining the battle himself. The [All Things Return to One] was ultimately not a large organization; although some participated in the battle in the snowy mountains tonight, he was the only one who ultimately reached the ruins at the summit.

After a moment's thought, the priest thanked Ms. White and headed towards the temple, where Miss Pavo was waiting for him. He had only taken a few steps when he looked up again towards the battlefield. Just then, Stella took off riding Little Leona. Watching the girl's figure, the believer in the God of Probability had a somewhat inscrutable expression, but he ultimately hurried away.

As the priest disappeared, Mr. Mortis emerged with the Ring of Fate, the [Sacrifice]. He stared in surprise and even horror at the giant serpent head that had sprung from the ruins, but unlike the cultists before him, he did not intend to go to the temple.

Mr. Mortis put on the clown mask. The clown clearly wouldn't pass up the chance to perform in the final act, but he didn't immediately leave for the battlefield:
“Ms. White, I just saw something in the Upper Spring.”

He said to the woman whose body was transparent:
"I have something I'd like to discuss with you regarding my [Sacrifice] and your [Guardian]."

Mr. Mortis also left in a hurry, so only Ellie remained in the cave trying to unite fate, while Mr. Zarathustra and the followers of doom were still nowhere to be seen.

But the cat had somehow emerged from the waterfall and was crouching by the pool watching Shad charge toward the enormous snake.

Although a dim yellow crack appeared in the starry sky, the night remained deep. The little cat was inconspicuous in the darkness, but Ms. White noticed it immediately.

Glancing at the "Promised Fate" pinned under the cat's paws, the almost completely transparent seal guardian asked:
"May I ask, could you continue to watch over that sacred beast here after I disappear?"

"Meow~"

The cat meowed at Shad's figure, completely ignoring her. Ms. White nodded slightly, receiving a reply, and then her body vanished from the spot.

At this moment, all the water veins hidden deep inside the snow mountain began to boil. The polluted and depleted water veins had little power left, but they still flowed through the crevices inside the mountain, even trying to call upon the power of the sea to assist them.

But the sea did not answer her call; instead, she sensed a rather dangerous sign in the ocean. The only one who responded to her was the maid with a crystal-clear body, but whose personality was by no means cold.

Winnie didn't stay on the mountaintop; she encountered Lady White's consciousness deep within the pristine waterways. Although Lady White was far more ancient than her, the ancient guardian of the seal was indeed not as pure as this spirit born from nature.

The two did not exchange words, but Ms. White already knew Winnie's plans. However, before entrusting her with all her remaining strength, Ms. White asked a question:
"You don't seem to be afraid of snakes, why is that?"

"I should have died in the past, in a corner of a hotel where no one knew me. The moon once illuminated my dreams, the moon once reversed my inevitable fate."

Thus I became the only darling of ice and snow, the essence of nature, to arrive in the Sixth Era. This era should have no place for me, but I have transcended fate, and so I came here.

Even though the power accumulated by Mount Fatumunster over countless millennia had been largely dissipated during the maintenance of the final seal, and had recently been distributed to the remnants awakened by the bloodline resonance of the Fatumun people, the remaining power was still considerable.

Having received a satisfactory answer, Ms. White bestowed almost all her power upon the maid who spoke with an icy demeanor, aside from the destiny of "guarding" itself.

The wind and snow in Zhuixing Bay grew even stronger tonight, and the rustling sound of freezing ice quickly spread along the coastline into the sea.

Surrounding the snow-capped mountain, outside the golden chains, spiraling white frost appeared out of thin air, locking the mountain's body together with the artifact. Although this caused the temperature on the island to drop by at least five degrees, compared to a landslide, catching a cold was an acceptable price to pay.

Within the ruins, Winnie took control of the snow mountain's power, causing more white snowflakes to appear in the yellow sand. The dim yellow light emanating from the hole that emerged from the giant snake's head dimmed considerably as a result. The snake clearly felt that the snow mountain binding its body was becoming increasingly cold and heavy.

But none of that matters. Its power is increasing every moment; all it needs is time.

Above the ruins, the black serpent continuously spewed out black and dim yellow light from its mouth, while Stella, riding on little Leona, had already summoned the "Shield of Procreation." Holding the shield, she was carried around by little Leona, constantly blocking the beams of light or lightning that the destructive forces had transformed into.

The location of the great elf Emilia resembled a golden sacred tree floating in the air, and the power displayed by the chosen one of time was suppressing the further enhancement of the apocalyptic environment as much as possible.

The terrifying black light emanating from the snake's body transformed into more and more snake heads, continuously retaliating against the attacks of the twelfth and thirteenth ring sorcerers.

From the underground cave where the snake's head protruded, figures exuding terrifying auras flew out one after another. These were monsters born from the snake's apocalyptic dream, belonging to the post-apocalyptic era.

The ring-bearers who had just disappeared, after being granted terrifying power, joined the battlefield in an increasingly inhuman form.

[Imbalance] [Black Sun] [Desolation] [Evil] [Paradox] [Stagnation] [Hypocrisy], a total of seven ring holders hold different destinies, with black doomsday rings branded on their foreheads or near their foreheads.

Their strength is not as good as the thirteen rings, but they have a huge advantage in the doomsday arena.

Although their bodies would obviously collapse after being exposed to the power of the apocalypse for too long, the presence of these seven people did indeed greatly help the Doomsday Serpent overcome its weakness after breaking free from the seal.

"Including the already deceased [Fool] - Lustful One, [Lost] - Lost One, [Resurrected] - Weapon Demon, and [Filth] - Slime Octopus that was dealt with by Sylvie at the entrance to the ruins, the number of Ring Bearers under the Serpent's command has reached 11."

Someone was muttering to themselves in the yellow sand, but their voice was drowned out by even louder shouts:

"The Sigh of the Chaos Witch!"
