Chapter 3818 The Converged Fates
Chapter 3818 The Converged Fates
Once inside the water, Stella realized that the "Upper Spring" was much deeper than she had observed from the shore. When the top of her head was completely covered by the even somewhat warm spring water, Stella felt as if she were falling from a great height.
"ah!"
She fell on the icy plains of her homeland, the place she had dreamed of countless nights. The starry sky hung upside down above her, and all around was desolation, with towering glaciers visible in the far distance.
The wind blew snowflakes that stung her face. Having been away from home for so long, seeing this scenery again, Stella felt a momentary daze. Suddenly, she looked down and saw a small, pale blue flower blooming in a crevice of the icy rock beneath her feet.
The flower was hidden in the crevices of the ice field. Although small, it was a rare sight of life on the ice field.
Stella couldn't help but squat down, wanting to observe closely how the flower had survived in such a harsh environment.
Growing on the same icy plain, struggling to survive in the wind and snow, Stella felt very similar to this little flower.
With this in mind, she truly transformed into that little flower in the crevice of the rock, viewing the icy plain from the flower's perspective.
The vast ice sheet in the far north never has a spring, and the long winter eventually caused that little flower to wither and die. But one morning, when the sunlight broke through the clouds and shone directly on the ice sheet for the first time, the slowly shifting sunlight finally shone into the crevice once again.
So, under the sunlight, the little flower, which had survived the long winter in the form of a seed after its blossoms withered, stretched out a new tender shoot in the sun.
The girl, born amidst wind and snow, weathered the winter in her own way. Although the winter was still long, the flowers continued to bloom.
She shared the same origins and a similar fate as the flower, and both were ultimately saved by a ray of "sunlight." Having spent a year in the form of a flower, Stella realized it was time to awaken.
Stella grasped her emerald fate firmly in her hands as she emerged from the spring.
Seedlings will eventually sprout and grow. Having weathered the harsh winter of her life, Stella Larson's future is destined to be extraordinary. Thus, after "Ice and Snow," the second ring of fate for the white-haired girl was naturally born—
The fate of [germination].
Ellie, who entered the water before Stella, naturally fell into the water just like her.
However, Ellie did not fall onto the ice sheet. A soft embrace caught her as she fell from the sky, and then "the Witch of the Moon," Brienne Orlando, the first librarian of St. Byron, smiled and placed the humanoid Ellie on the ground.
"What a beautiful girl."
The blonde demigod witch smiled and exclaimed in admiration.
This is a greenhouse, where colorful flowers have been arranged in the most suitable positions by the maids. At the white round table in the center of the greenhouse, Violet, Miss Ferrenanna, and Chloe are having afternoon tea, with Theresa and Brienne serving them, while a group of dragon maids await their orders.
This looks like just another ordinary afternoon tea party among close girlfriends, but the great witches sitting there are all demigods, and they clearly belong to different eras.
"Ellie, are you happy living in the Sixth Era?"
Chloe, the shortest of the two, held her own against the two great witches from the "future." She picked up a red apple from the table and handed it to Ellie. The bewildered girl hesitated for a moment, holding the apple, before reaching out to hug Chloe's arm.
"Chloe! Chloe! We meet again, Chloe!"
The short witch smiled and stroked her hair. Although she had transformed from a unicorn into a human, her hair still felt wonderful to the touch.
Oh no! The cat is gone!
The little unicorn immediately noticed that the cat on her head was gone, and she didn't quite understand what was going on.
Before Ellie could ask, Miss Feliananna placed the porcelain teacup on the saucer. The witch, as beautiful as a violet, looked at Ellie with a smile, and Ellie remembered seeing her before.
"So, Ellie, what fate awaits you right now?"
"Mana Ferrianana asked, and the little unicorn, tilting its head, was still trying to remember where it had seen the other before, but it still stretched out its hands and held up the apple that was not yet fully formed.
She handed the apple to Britney beside her. Although the witch was no longer pure, the scent of Shad that clung to her still made Ellie trust her.
The apple was placed on a tray and then moved to the white round table in front of the three demigod witches.
Miss Violet sighed softly in admiration:
"【Innocence】? Impressive. It seems that even without us, Ellie can still forge her own powerful destiny."
Miss Felicity also praised it, saying:
"The unicorn race is truly gifted. It seems that even without our plan, Ellie could have shaped her destiny on her own."
Chloe's words were tinged with amusement:
"Ellie is the most outstanding unicorn I know. Although she is very young, I think she is capable enough to stand on her own. However, her destiny is not yet complete. With Ellie alone, it will probably take some time for the apple to fully take shape."
Violet then proposed:
"How about we help Ellie complete her destiny?"
The violet-like witch joked:
"Can we witches, who have walked such a long road, still understand what innocence is?"
The three demigod witches then reached out together, aiming at the white apple in the center of the round table, their individual colors flowing towards the illusory fruit. Chloe's color was a cold blue, Miss Ferrianana's color was a leisurely violet, and Violet's color was a solemn and majestic gold.
The three colors made the apple appear fuller and more solid, and in just half a minute it was completely formed, becoming a real "apple" that exists in the real world.
With white as the main color, the inside of the apple contains three colors that move and change shape like clouds.
Britney then handed the apple back to Ellie. The little girl, holding her own innocent apple, asked them curiously:
"But then, Apple would not be pure."
Chloe does not deny this:
"But isn't your talent precisely about gaining new power through the connection of fate? By separating the power that belongs to us from your apple, the apple will become pure, and you will become stronger."
Ellie nodded, then asked happily:
"Chloe! Chloe! When can I see you again?"
Knowing the meeting was about to end, Chloe gently raised her hand from the side of her chair and softly stroked the little unicorn she had watched grow up, her expression tender.
"Soon, Ellie, I promise, very soon. But now you must go back and do your best to help Shad, go and show your brilliance on that stage of destiny. Ellie, you are more dazzling than any mortal, I knew that when I chose you."
The little unicorn girl, holding the apple, nodded emphatically. As she turned to leave, she turned to the beautiful ladies and asked:
"We'll meet again, won't we?"
"Yes, Ellie, we'll see each other soon, sooner than you think."
"So, was our meeting just an echo left behind by you, or did I really travel through time?"
The witch, as beautiful as a violet, revealed a genuine smile:
"This is certainly not real."
"why?"
"Ellie, in reality, are you really able to speak so much in human form and realize that this isn't the real world?"
(Little Leona running)
Although Stella and Ellie entered Upper Spring one after the other, when Stella emerged from the warm water and gasped for breath, she could only see the shimmering reflection of the water at the top of the cave, but not Ellie.
Stella, who spent a long time as a small seedling in the crevices of the ice field, should theoretically have taken even longer.
The rushing water drowned out the sounds from outside the waterfall at the other end of the passageway. Only when Stella raised her right hand, which held the green [Sprouting] Ring of Fate, did she realize that Act VII had ended and the final battle of destiny had begun.
Although she couldn't see if anyone was underwater, Stella, who had been reawakened in this spring, had gained a stronger ability to perceive her destiny.
Therefore, she knew that not only was Ellie trying to unite fate in the water, but Mr. Mortis and the priest from the "Oneness of All Things" were also there.
The old man Zarathustra of the Prophet's Association and Katrin Schwartz of the Doom Order have disappeared without a trace. It is unknown whether they have not been found yet or have already left.
As Stella thought about this, she realized that something was missing in the water:
"Mia?"
The cat stood by the pond, gazing at her with a languid air. This cat had always seemed listless since leaving Shad; it wasn't that the cat was actually unwell, but simply that it had little interest in its surroundings without Shad's presence.
Being stared at by the cat, Stella felt as if she were being scrutinized by some enormous creature. But this feeling disappeared once her mind was fully clear, and she didn't know if the feeling was just her imagination.
Stella knew that the [Sprouting] ring in her hand was not an illusion; she knew she had obtained the second ring. Therefore, what she needed to do now was to leave immediately and go to support the battle outside, where the situation was still unknown.
She quickly got ashore and then unexpectedly discovered that the cat's paw was also stepping on a ring, realizing that the cat had also gone into the water with her.
With the second ring, Stella gained a stable ability to interpret fate, and thus she saw the fate corresponding to the ring beneath the cat's paw—
[Agreement].
