"In the path Xu traveled, the final path should remain unchanged. Therefore, if there are still changes, the results obtained are inconsistent with the changes, proving that there are still errors and omissions, and the final path has not been clearly understood."

A brief summary of the meaning of Xu Qian's words is: truth is absolute and eternal. If there are changes beyond his cognition, it means that the truth he currently recognizes is not the absolute truth, and there are still gaps and errors, and he must continue. Complement, in order to finally reach the absolute truth, which is the final path!

But in the process, although he would correct and make up for the errors and gaps in his knowledge, it was not that his method of seeking the Tao was wrong, that is, "the world changes, but Xu's Tao remains unchanged."

Xu Qian smiled again and said: "You fellow Taoists have already seen the universe evolved by fellow Taoist Lao Tzu, why not take another look at the universe that Xu thinks."
