Even if there are latecomers who want to take another path, they can't even reach the realm of their predecessors, and they will naturally give birth to "I can't even reach it." At the height of the seniors, how can I have the right to question the path that the seniors are taking? Let's practice honestly." Such thoughts.

And those who can reach the heights of the predecessors have come to the end of the road, and they will see the other side of success (Xianyu) immediately. At this time, tell them that there is actually another way to go, and there is no need to go on this road. Knock, let them change the road?

Unless you put a living example in front of them and prove it with facts, and in this world, no one has ever walked the road of cognition, and there are no facts to prove it, and people will be diverted to see if people need to call you loudly.

Another reason is that although no one has ever truly become a fairy, and no one has ever actually entered the fairyland, there are fairy artifacts in the world, and the existence of the fairyland can indeed be perceived. Demonstrate one thing to the monks of this world—the immortal is not false!

And since the road is right, why look for other roads?Is there something wrong with my brain?

Just like a country that has done a good job of thermonuclear fusion, now you tell me that the unknown cold fusion is more promising, and you want to give up the technology that has been researched and is about to succeed, and start again?

I'm afraid that most people will not be willing, and the monks in this world are also like this. Their path is close to immortality, and they can all see the fruits of success. Why don't they continue to follow this path and dig a path with an uncertain future?
The monks are like a group of travelers looking for water in the desert. They have seen an oasis in front of them, which is full of attractive fruit trees. As long as they can reach it, they can quench their thirst. Although the route is rough, the goal is there. It is so clear, how could it be possible to abandon this oasis and rethink the search for unknown water sources?

Even if there is a water source right under their feet, it is impossible to dig it out with just a couple of light diggings. Compared with unknown risks, a stable and within-sight target is more reliable.

Lao Tzu and Sakyamuni were surprised by what Xu Qian said. They are naturally not ignorant if they can practice their state. They are only limited by their past knowledge and long-term habit of thinking. , Never thought of these things before.

After listening to what Xu Qian said, after thinking about it for a while, I feel that what this person said is indeed feasible, and I can't help but realize that the way of longevity is not only to practice to the extreme, but also to live forever in this world.

This one seems to like the things of mortals very much. Could it be that this is walking the path of mortals?

"This is the way of cognition. It is believed that everything in the world can be known. If it is impossible to know, it means that the knowledge has not yet arrived. If you don't know it today, it doesn't mean you can't know it tomorrow. ..."

Hearing these words, the four of Laozi instantly understood Xu Qian's meaning, and also knew the difference between Xu Qian's way and their way.

Glancing at the four people, Xu Qian knew that they didn't fully understand, so he said with a smile: "What you practice is 'Tao', but what I cultivate is 'Li'. It should be said that I am seeking 'Li'."

The four of them immediately became interested, Sakyamuni said: "Dare to ask the benefactor, what is the difference between the two?"

Xu Qiandao: "Forgive me, in Xu's eyes, the 'Tao' that you practice is not the real Tao, or it is only a part of the real Tao, some appearances, not the root. With the realm of several Taoists, you should know a lot something..."

The four were very curious about what was going on, and they only heard Xu Qian say: "In your understanding and understanding, 'Tao' can be modified and affected, right?"

What's wrong with that, is it unreasonable?
Tao can be influenced and modified, which is basic common sense in their realm.

For example, the Tao of the Great Emperor can affect the entire universe and suppress other Taos, so it is impossible for other talents to prove the Tao when there is the Great Emperor.

"What is Tao?"

Xu Qian continued: "Tao is the rule, the law, the principle of the composition of all things, the order of the establishment of time and space, whether the world is open or not, and whether all spirits exist or not, they are all there. Emotionless is based on 'the world is not benevolent and treats everything as a straw dog'."

Lao Tzu did not expect this Yi to suddenly say a sentence from his "Tao Te Ching", but he probably understood what Xu Qian meant.

"The Tao remains unchanged, it does not change because of people, and it does not change because of things. It is not only the original principle of all things, but also the ultimate principle of all things."

The other three also understood Xu Qian's meaning, and there was only one key word - Dao Heng, the Dao will last forever and never change.

"Therefore, the 'Tao' that you cultivate can change due to people and things. Xu thinks it is not the real Tao. Your 'Tao' is still changing, which means that you have not found its root yet."

Shennong said: "I understand the meaning of the fellow Taoist. As the Taoist said, the 'Tao' we cultivate can be affected and changed. It is because we haven't found the root, so the 'Tao' you seek will not change. Already the root of Tao?"

Xu Qian shook his head and said with a smile: "Of course not, I have never felt that the 'Tao' I have observed and recognized is the real Tao, but I will continue to observe and recognize it until I discover its root."

"The sea of ​​dao is boundless, and Xu is just a seeker looking for the true way in the sea of ​​dao. How dare he say that he has found the true way? I just said that I am seeking 'reason', which means that Xu wants to seek the real way." reason'."

After hearing these words, the four of them understood Xu Qian's Tao even more, and they couldn't help admiring him. Although the "Tao" they practiced was not the real Tao, it was not to belittle them and use it to elevate themselves. Instead, he pointed out the flaws in their practice path. Didn't this person himself admit that the "Tao" he observed and recognized may not be the real Tao?

But this is an argument about the Tao, how could the four of them be so convinced, and this involved a big problem, which made them not want to admit it: that is, if the "Tao" they practiced is not the real Tao, then what they have been doing all these years What kind of thing was it repaired?

The Yellow Emperor, who didn't talk much, said: "According to fellow Taoists, Dao has existed since ancient times, and it will never change. Right? Dare I ask you how to explain this?"

This question is quite clever, just like in modern people's understanding, the universe originated from a big bang. Tens of billions of years ago, there was an infinitely small volume, infinitely large density, infinitely high temperature, and infinitely large space-time curvature. Point, called singularity, it is the explosion of this singularity that gave birth to the present universe, but the big bang of singularity explained how the universe was born, so where did the singularity come from?

You can continue to assume that the singularity was created by an unknown god, but the question remains the same, where did this unknown god come from?Matryoshka one after another, can continue indefinitely.

The same can be said for the question of the Yellow Emperor. You say that the true Tao has existed from ancient times and is eternal, so where is its origin?There must be an origin, right?

The four of them and a group of earth monks all looked at Xu Qian. This was related to the path they practiced, because if Xu Qian's "fallacious theory" was spread, many monks would definitely be shaken and doubt their own path.

In order not to let my Dao heart be shaken, it is better to refute this heresy!
But they heard an unexpected answer: "I don't know!"

Xu Qian said these four words very simply, without any hesitation, he smiled and said: "Just now Xu has said that the Dao is infinite, and Xu is just a seeker in the sea of ​​Tao. There is still Tao outside Tao, there are people outside Tao, and there are things outside people.”

"But the Tao is infinite, and Xu's desire to seek the Tao is also infinite. If there is a Tao outside the Tao, there are people outside the Tao, and there are things outside the people, it is just a long journey and a long search. The Tao has no end, and Xu has no end!"

When some earth monks heard Xu Qian's answer, they didn't take it seriously. This guy didn't answer the question raised by the Yellow Emperor at all. He was obviously at a disadvantage, but he still kept his mouth stubborn.

But the perceptions of the four of Lao Tzu are different. This one has already answered, and it is a very beautiful answer, "The Tao has no end, and Xu has no end!" Yes, if the Tao has an origin, then study its origin Go, if there is an origin beyond the origin, then study it further...

If there is no limit to the Tao, my desire to seek the Tao will also have no limit!

The four people paid respect to Xu Qian, and Lao Tzu sighed: "The thought of a fellow Taoist, the old Taoist admires!"

Sakyamuni said: "Fellow Taoist unsealed Kunlun and did what we can't do. Presumably fellow Taoist has gone a long way on the path he seeks. The poor monk would like to ask for advice."

That's right, this person talked about the way he practiced, and those methods of longevity, so this person should have realized something, right?

Among other things, as long as it is confirmed that this person has not practiced like them, he has already achieved immortality. The release will definitely be a major event that will shake the entire universe.

Xu Qian understood Sakyamuni's meaning, just as he also wanted to see the world's supreme quasi-emperor strength, he said with a smile: "Yes!"

In a blink of an eye, Xu Qian followed Sakyamuni to a deserted star field. There were no living creatures living here, and the place was spacious, just right for existences like them to start a war.

In order to prevent the movement of the battle from being noticed, Laozi, Huangdi, and Shennong jointly set up formations in the star field to cover up the aura.

A group of earth monks felt quite sorry to see these five leave. It was definitely an unimaginable competition, but they had no chance to watch it.

In the starry sky, Xu Qian and Sakyamuni were separated in a fragmented meteorite belt, and there were a large number of meteorites floating around.

Sakyamuni clasped his hands together and said "Amitabha!" The violent light of the Buddha erupted and illuminated the star field. The Buddhist voice chanted and a golden lotus sprang up from the ground. Clap it with one palm.

That giant palm covered the sky and the earth, and the entire starry sky was covered by it. Under this palm, there was no escape, no escape.

Xu Qian stood on the spot, looking calmly at the giant Buddha palm that was photographed. An unusually bright light erupted from his body, turning into a human-shaped sun, and it was true. He was frantically carrying out fusion reactions, annihilation reactions, dark reaction.

Raising his right arm, he held it forward, and the endless light and heat merged into a giant sword.

In front of this giant sword, Xu Qian's figure was worse than that of an ant, but the sword was held in his hand.

It was like an ant wielding a huge sword and beheading a giant elephant. The blazing giant sword fell on the giant palm of the Buddha. Shakyamuni suddenly felt a series of special forces colliding with his giant palm, and he immediately realized that it was what the sun possessed. Power, he had felt many times during his travels in the universe.

It's just that the power on the giant sword at this moment is much more terrifying than he felt. The giant sword was still vibrating and changing frequency when it was attacking, and then Sakyamuni saw his giant Buddha palm being cut off .

After cutting off the giant palm, the sword was still extending towards the starry sky, towards Sakyamuni, but Sakyamuni saw that the sword gradually dimmed during the extension process, and did not extend to him.

This made him very puzzled, but this was an opportunity. Sakyamuni resolutely launched another attack, and the Buddha Kingdom in his palm unfolded silently. Before he knew it...

No, although that person was enveloped by the Buddha Kingdom in the Palm, he couldn't perceive its specific location. He clearly stood there with his eyes, within the Buddha Kingdom in the Palm, but he couldn't perceive it.

Shakyamuni used a kind of pupil technique, but he still couldn't perceive it. The light was in it, but it seemed to be just a shadow, which was so strange.

Since you can't perceive it, then you don't perceive it. The Buddha's light is surging, and the golden Dao pattern is densely covered in the void, interweaving patterns and principles, bombarding that figure.

But the fluctuation of the attack subsided, and Sakyamuni saw that figure standing there unscathed. The surging Buddha's light and the violent Quasi-Emperor Dao pattern did not affect it in the slightest.

At this moment, Sakyamuni had a warning sign in his heart that an attack was coming, but after deduction, he couldn't deduce where the attack came from and what form it would take.

Suddenly, Sakyamuni felt a sharp pain between his brows, and stared at him. At some point, Xu Qian stood in front of him, pointing a finger between his brows.

He would feel the tingling, the force of the fingers piercing the skin.

But how did this guy do it?
Although the one here is just his incarnation, it is also the avatar of the peak Zhundi, with rough skin and thick flesh, and extraordinary perception. The general Zhundi may not be able to do anything about it. Now that he is so close, he has broken his defense.

It is actually a relationship between space position and space position. Xu Qian modified his own space position so that he could reach the place where Sakyamuni was, so he was naturally close to him.

In a sense, it was Sakyamuni himself who came to Xu Qian, rather than Xu Qian attacking him.

Shakyamuni had never seen such a method before, so of course he didn't know how to defend himself, but he admitted defeat calmly and said: "Friends of Taoism have a high realm, it's the poor monk who lost!"
