Chapter 334: Disciple Recommends Ksitigarbha

Chapter 334: Disciple Recommends Ksitigarbha
Whether the supreme Tao fruit can be replicated has always been a focus of debate in the cultivation world.

If it can be copied, how can the supreme Tao fruit be called the supreme.

If it cannot be copied, where is the future of Daluo? Can he only revolve around Pangu Dao Fruit and cannot find a second new path?

Patriarch Bodhi's practice of reducing things to nothingness has attracted countless eyes and is bound to attract the attention of countless ancestors and religious leaders.

If it can be verified and the second nirvana can be achieved, then the future practice system will definitely be reformed and the highest realm will definitely be changed.

Everyone will walk on the path of reduction to nothingness, and by then all supernatural powers will be a burden. After Daluo kills the three corpses, realizes his own realm, and becomes completely perfect, becoming a patriarch, he will not seek the realm of Hunyuan, dominate the heavens, and increase the burden, but will try to pass the buck, let his own cause and effect become nothingness, and thus achieve Nirvana and transcendence.

Some people are optimistic about this path, while others are not, like the Buddha in the past who burned the lamp and was still determined to achieve the goal of being the oldest person in the past.

However, for the Daluo below the Patriarch, it is too early to discuss this issue.

Compared to the illusory state of Nirvana, they were more concerned about who would fill the vacant seat in the Jetavana Grove in Sravasti after Subhuti left.

The number of seats in the Lonely Garden has always been fixed, which is 1,250. If you want to increase the number, there are only two ways. Either you achieve enlightenment yourself and reverse time and space to have an extra observer.

Or, if someone among the 1,250 people voluntarily leaves, there will be an extra seat, and the younger generation of Buddhists can take it and listen to the Buddha's teachings.

This opportunity is extremely precious, no less than the three lectures in Zixiao Palace.

Think about it, what level of cultivation do the three thousand mortals in Zixiao Palace have? They are at least at the Daluo level, well-known and powerful people in the ancient times.

The ticket to the Sakya Temple is equivalent to the cushion in the Zixiao Palace.

As long as it is managed well, it may be possible for one's own disciples to produce another Buddha, or even the Supreme Tathagata.

Shakyamuni had no supernatural powers and was a mortal. After preaching the Dharma for a long time, he suddenly felt dry mouth and tongue, so he stopped preaching, closed his eyes, and meditated under the Bodhi tree to rest.

Taking advantage of this gap, a group of great Arhats, great Bodhisattvas, and Buddhas came behind the scenes to discuss and began to discuss sending their own high monks over.

"I have a novice monk named Fahai under my tutelage." Medicine Buddha smiled and said, "I think he has a deep affinity with Buddha and can hear the great Dao."

"I've heard of Fahai." Venerable Ananda chuckled and said meaningfully, "It is said that he is a man with angry eyes. He was so cruel that he could kill the White Snake in one fell swoop, and pinned her down under the Demon Locking Tower. I can say responsibly that this novice monk cultivated by cutting off all emotions and desires."

"In the next calamity, when I choose a Dharma protector for Buddhism, I will definitely vote for him. He is a good monk and is an expert at exorcising demons and monsters."

Medicine Buddha's expression froze, and he said earnestly: "Is it a bit biased for your evaluation of Fahai? As far as I know, Fahai only suppressed the demons but did not kill them. Compared with the Shura monk, he still has a compassionate heart."

“It is because of our shortcomings that we need education and guidance. That is the meaning of the existence of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas like us.”

"Then let him reincarnate a few more times to make up for the incompleteness." Venerable Ananda said with withered hands and a calm face: "Without experiencing suffering, one cannot attain the Tathagata."

"Although Fahai has the heart of a Buddha, he lacks some compassion. I am afraid he cannot attain enlightenment. I think it will not be too late for him to join the Buddhist Association after a few reincarnations." Mahakasyapa nodded and agreed, and then said, "There is a disciple of mine who is a Dragon Subduer. He has both blessings and wisdom. He can come to the Buddhist Association."

"There is a Zen Master Zhenkong in our sect who has made great contributions to our Buddhist sect." Maitreya Bodhisattva interrupted and said, "You can also ask him to come. The Venerable Jianglong had a fight with the Golden Winged Peng Bird a while ago and broke the glass lamp, the lotus platform, and the Merit Pond... I'm afraid he is now confined to reflect on his mistakes."

Mahakasyapa's face darkened, and he paused before saying, "Vasutra Master Zhenkong, is that the monk who practices both Buddhism and Taoism?"

"Although Zhenkong has made great achievements, his foundation is not my pure Buddhism." Guanzida Bodhisattva sighed and said, "My disciple Longnu has a simple heart and is dedicated to doing good. She is a promising talent."

A simple mind and a heart dedicated to doing good?
Upon hearing this, a group of powerful Buddhists couldn't help but sneer. They had many disciples with such character, so how could Guanyin have the nerve to recommend him?

As for impure foundation, among all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, the one with the most impure foundation is you, Taoist Cihang!
There is no sect within the sect, and there are all kinds of strange things. Although Buddhism is a pure place, there are always cause and effect connections, and there are emotional connections between people.

As long as the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas do not enter Nirvana, they cannot escape from cause and effect. Over the years, they have split into several sects.

After Sakyamuni, there are six major factions in Buddhism.

Medicine Buddha represents the innate gods and spirits, Amitabha represents the Pure Land of the Ten Directions, and is the Pure Land Sect. Maitreya is the future star, and is naturally the Prince Sect.

The seven Buddhas of the past also formed their own sect, but most of the time, led by the past Buddha, they generally kept silent and seldom participated in Buddhist disputes. They were an ancient sect.

The ten great disciples of Buddha, headed by Mahakasyapa, symbolize inheritance and are the direct lineage.

And, the last faction is the Bodhisattva faction headed by Cihang, Manjusri and Samantabhadra.

The six major factions are interdependent. For example, Subhuti is one of the ten great disciples of Buddha, but he is also the spokesperson for the Pure Land Sect. Amitabha Buddha seldom appears, and it is always Cundi who represents him.

But now that the Taoist Master Zhunti has left, the balance has been broken and conflicts have arisen instantly. The six major sects have besieged the Lonely Garden, and the situation is at a stalemate.

At this time, Rahula, the Buddha's disciple who was supposed to leave, came back laughing, looked at the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, and said proudly: "What's the point of making so much noise? Let me recommend a candidate!"

"How is Jizo?"

Ksitigarbha?

Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva!

For a moment, everyone was stunned. They couldn't figure out Rahula's thoughts. What exactly did he want to do?
"Good, good, I think it is feasible." Guanyin Bodhisattva pondered for a moment, nodded and said: "Ksitigarbha has great aspirations and great affinity with the Buddha, so he can enter the Solitary Garden."

"Yes!" The detained Sun Fo nodded on behalf of the ancient faction. They did not care about worldly affairs and had no objection to who joined the Lonely Garden.

"Let's do as Rahula says." Kashyapa and Ananda looked at each other and did not refute Rahula, because Rahula was also one of the ten great disciples of the Buddha and his closest fellow disciple.

If it is impossible to allow the monks under his own tutelage to study, it would be fine to allow Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva recommended by Rahula to come.

In an instant, the situation changed. Amitabha was no longer there, and there were only five factions. Three factions supported the entry of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, and only Medicine Buddha and Maitreya did not express their views.

"What does the Glazed Buddha think?" asked the future Buddha Maitreya with a smile.
Medicine Buddha narrowed his eyes and glanced in the direction of Chentang Pass. After a moment's hesitation, he nodded and said, "Alright, what do you think, Future Buddha?"

"That's good, that's good."

The future Buddha Maitreya took a deep breath. The ratio was four to one. What else could he say or do at this time? At this time, he naturally had to show unity.

No matter how divided internally there is, unity is always the magic weapon for Buddhism to succeed.

"I also think that Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva has great perseverance, great merit, and great compassion, and he can join the Buddhist Association." The future Buddha Maitreya said against his will.

"Well done, well done!" All the Bodhisattvas and Buddhas praised in unison: "The power of Maitreya Bodhisattva is boundless, and his wisdom is indisputable."

Thus, a united and victorious conference ended, and all Buddhist monks unanimously passed a resolution on the entry of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva into the Solitary Grove, which took effect immediately.
