Chapter 934, Jirachi
It was evening on the 243rd day after we left the Orange Islands.

As the afterglow of the setting sun spilled onto the sea, a yacht drifted slowly for three days on this shimmering golden ocean before finally arriving at the port of Qiuye Town in the Fengyuan region.

"Bang bang bang, bang bang bang—"

As soon as they approached Qiuye Town, the loud sound of cannons reached their ears. The sound of the cannons seemed particularly abrupt to them, outsiders, in the quiet evening. They had no idea what was happening in the town or what kind of competition was being held.

Yu Hai frowned slightly, looked at A Long beside him, and instructed, "A Long, cancel the yacht rental, and go into the city to find out where this place is and what was the cause of the cannon salute just now?"

Ah Long replied in a low voice, "Okay, boss."

He quickly packed his things, got off the boat, stood on the dock, took out his phone, and skillfully dialed the yacht company's number, asking them to send someone to pick up the yacht and refund his deposit.

After hanging up the phone, Ah Long headed towards the town, which was bustling with activity. He weaved through the crowd, stopped at a small shop, bought a pack of cigarettes, and casually asked the owner about the cannon salute earlier.

Seeing Ah Long's travel-worn appearance, the shopkeeper warmly explained to him, "This is Qiuye Town. The cannon fire you just heard was from the Grand Contest. The competition just ended today. It was a very exciting competition and will continue for several more days."

After thanking the shopkeeper, Ah Long continued to wander around the town to make sure he hadn't missed any other information. Then he hurried back to the harbor to report the situation to his boss.

"Boss, this is Qiuye Town. The cannon salute we just heard was the Grand Contest, the sound of the competition ending today." Ah Long stood in front of Yu Hai, reporting his investigation results.

After finishing his report, he looked up slightly at Yu Hai and asked, "Boss, the Grand Contest will continue for several more days. Are you going to stay here and watch it?"

Yu Hai put his hands in his pockets, shook his head slightly, and showed a bored expression on his face: "No need, it's a boring match."

After saying that, he started walking towards the town, calling out to Ah Long, "Let's rest here for two days before we leave..."

"Okay, boss." Ah Long quickly followed behind, asking as he walked, "Should I book a hotel now...?"

"No rush, let's go have dinner first." Yu Hai raised his hand to his shoulder and slowly twisted his neck. After floating on the sea for three days, not eating or sleeping well, the feeling of being on solid ground made him feel particularly relaxed.

When they entered Autumn Leaf Town, the streets were brightly lit, and the air was filled with the aroma of various delicacies, making people's mouths water.

They planned to find a restaurant for dinner, but as they walked, they noticed that people on the roadside were all stopping, looking up at the night sky with expressions of amazement on their faces, seemingly looking at something.

Curious, he subconsciously looked up and saw a shooting star streaking across the deep night sky, leaving a dazzling aurora trail. The trail was like a dreamlike ribbon, stretching freely across the dark sky, its light brilliant, breathtakingly beautiful, and so spectacular that it took his breath away.

"A comet? Or a meteor? Why would it appear at a time like this?" Yu Hai's gaze was fixed on the comet, and the moment he saw it, alarm bells went off in his mind.

He knew that nothing in this elven world appeared without a reason, especially such a grand and strange scene before him, which exuded an indescribable legendary aura.

The two entered a simply decorated restaurant, filled with the aroma of food. The wooden tables and chairs were neatly arranged, and the walls were adorned with exquisite paintings depicting local legends.

Among them are paintings related to the comet, and a painting of a legendary Pokémon named Jirachi.

"Kirachi?" Yu Hai murmured the name softly. He and Arlong sat down by the window, ordered their food, and leaned forward slightly. He then instructed Arlong again, "Arlong, later find out about the legends related to this comet..."

Ah Long frowned slightly, leaned closer, and asked his boss in a low voice, while glancing occasionally at the diners around them who were enthusiastically discussing the comet, as if afraid of being overheard: "Boss, do you think there's something fishy about this comet?"

"It's hard to say." Yu Hai shook his head slightly. At this moment, he was also wondering to himself if he had somehow gotten involved in some unknown major event in the theatrical version.

However, I have no clue about this. It seems that I need to investigate further to find out the reason behind it.

"Yes, boss," Ah Long replied in a low voice.

Soon after, the waiter brought out the steaming hot food. After the two finished their dinner, Ah Long paid the bill and then left the restaurant.

Yu Hai went straight to a hotel that looked quite comfortable. The hotel lobby was brightly lit and the floor was as smooth as a mirror. The staff at the front desk warmly greeted him.

After checking in, he went to his room, sent the hotel's name and address to Aaron, and then released his Pokémon. The little guys immediately started running around the room happily; they had all been cooped up on the ship for the past three days, except for the water-type Pokémon.

He also took out the food he had prepared and watched the elves happily eat their dinner. After the elves finished eating, Alon still hadn't returned.

Left with no other choice, he decided to take a shower first. The bathroom was filled with steam, and the warm water sprayed on his body, making him feel comfortable. This was the first hot shower in three days.

He also gave Umbreon a bath, and the two of them had a water fight in the bathroom. Poliwrath and the others were covered in white bubbles and were also splashed by the water.

When he came out of the shower, he was wrapped in a soft bath towel, and his hair was still slightly damp.

Just then, there was a rhythmic knocking on the door.

"Dong dong dong, dong dong dong -"

Yu Hai frowned slightly and asked loudly through the door, "Who is it?"

Soon, Ah Long's familiar voice came from outside the door: "Boss, it's me. I've found out about the legend of the comet."

Ah Long stood outside the door, looking warily down the corridor. Fortunately, there were no people passing by at the moment, so he didn't have to worry about being overheard.

"Come in." Yu Hai gently opened the door, and a wave of heat rushed out.

He stepped aside to let Ah Long into the room, walked to the table, picked up the kettle, poured Ah Long a glass of water, and then looked at Ah Long with a hint of expectation in his eyes, asking, "Tell me, what have you found out?"

“Boss, this comet only appears once every thousand years.” Ah Long, slightly out of breath, picked up his water glass and took a big gulp before continuing with a serious expression, “According to the historical records kept by the locals, the last time this comet appeared was a thousand years ago.”

"Legend has it that Jirachi slept for thousands of years in a secluded place in the Farns Stone Forest. Jirachi will awaken on the seventh day after the appearance of the Millennium Comet. It is said that Jirachi will draw mysterious energy from the Millennium Comet and then fall into a deep sleep in the earth. It is because of this that Farns has been able to maintain its abundance and beauty."

“Jirachi…” Yu Hai murmured softly the name of this legendary Pokémon. Isn’t that the Pokémon he saw in the restaurant?
He knew very well that he had obviously gotten involved in another movie, but for the moment he couldn't remember what good stuff was hidden in this movie.

However, if he couldn't figure it out, he would go and see for himself. It wouldn't take too much time anyway. He looked up at Aaron and asked, "Have you found out where Farns is?"

"Boss, I've found out." Ah Long quickly spread out the map in his hand, his movements very efficient. "Farns is southeast of Autumnleaf Town, not far from here."

"There is a primeval forest here. As for the exact location of the stone forest, we will need to search carefully after we arrive at the site." Ah Long knew very well that such crucial details could not be overlooked. If the boss asked and he couldn't answer, it would be a sign of his incompetence.

"Very good." Yu Hai looked at the red circle marked by A Long on the map, then straightened up, waved his hand, and signaled A Long to leave: "Go and get some rest. We'll set off tomorrow..."

"Okay, boss." Ah Long didn't say anything more, carefully put away the map, then turned around, opened the door to the hotel room next door, and flashed into the room.

"Ji Lachi, the Millennium Comet, what good stuff could it possibly have? I can't quite remember..." Yu Hai stood alone on the balcony, the night breeze gently brushing against his face, carrying a hint of coolness.

He looked up at the comet in the night sky, which trailed a long, brilliant tail, a thoughtful look in his eyes.

He tried hard to search his memory for anything related to the movie, but he only had some vague impressions. However, he remembered Jirachi, the mysterious Pokémon, very clearly.

He recalled that when he was a child, the cartoons broadcast on TV would only go as far as the Chengdu area before abruptly ending.

He didn't watch the Hoenn and Sinnoh anime from beginning to end for various reasons, so it's normal that he can't remember some plot points.

To avoid any unforeseen complications, whatever secrets or treasures Farns might be hiding, we should go there ourselves to find out.

Now that he has become an Elite Four trainer, even if he encounters underground organizations in the Hoenn region, neither the aggressive Team Magma nor the ambitious Team Aqua can pose a threat to him, let alone keep him.

This formidable strength is what gives him the confidence to go to Farns to participate in the theatrical version.
