The python had grown so large that it could now swallow airplanes and bend oil tankers. It would grab containers in mid-air like opening cans, dumping the survivors inside into its mouth. Seeing it firsthand, the safe zone was teetering on the brink of collapse; it was no longer safe. How could the female producer not be filled with dread?

"We believe that some mysterious force is secretly accelerating the mutation of the python," Captain Nine-Tailed said, advancing the plot through dialogue.

“Your intuition is correct.” At this point, director Terri Flavie had no need to hide anything. Of course, the perfect performance of Team 4 also won the trust of the safe zone's higher-ups in the shortest amount of time: “These pythons did not evolve naturally, but are the result of human intervention.”

“I suspect that the force behind that Nobel Prize-winning bioweapons expert is one of them. And the biotechnology company we found on the oil tanker is another,” Captain Nine-Tailed said, revealing his thoughts.

“Yes.” Director Terri Flevie was clearly quite satisfied with the strength of the newly joined 13-woman team: “Besides them, there are Oscorp and Roxxon. As for whether there are any other multinational companies involved, we don’t know yet.”

Upon hearing the names of these two companies, Wu Chen's memories of the story were immediately activated.

The central villain of The Amazing Spider-Man: Curt Connors. He was originally a brilliant scientist at Oscur Corporation, specializing in cross-species genetics and limb regeneration. After losing his right arm, he became obsessed with experiments on "regeneration serum" based on lizard DNA, eventually transforming into Dr. Lizard.

Roxon Oil Corporation is a recurring presence in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, appearing in films such as *Iron Man 1, 2, and 3*, *Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.*, *Daredevil*, *Agent Carter*, and *Cloak and Dagger*. While ostensibly engaged in oil extraction, the company is actually willing to do anything for profit. From high-tech weaponry to rival Stark Industries, to research on cyborgs and even the creation of superhumans, Roxon has a diverse range of interests, making it a highly successful company across various sectors. This also inevitably makes it a villainous organization that engages in open and covert battles with the superheroes.

Given the connection to pythons, a notorious gang affiliated with the Roxon Corporation emerged: the Serpent Society.

It's important to note that the Viper Gang, which first appeared in *Captain America: Brave New World*, was merely a regular mercenary criminal organization. Its members did not possess snake-like characteristics, wore snake-themed uniforms, or undergo any snake-related modifications. In the original storyline of *Captain America: War of the America*, the Viper Gang was hired by a mysterious buyer to steal samples of adamantium from a Japanese laboratory. They were thwarted by the new Captain America, Sam Wilson, and the new Falcon, Joaquin Torres. All members of the Viper Gang, except for Horned Rattlesnake, were arrested. Horned Rattlesnake then ambushed Sam and was defeated. During his subsequent investigation, Sam questioned Horned Rattlesnake about the buyer's background.

However, it's important to note that with player involvement, the members of the Viper Gang may not necessarily follow the original storyline. This is because by acquiring the Roxon Corporation's technology blueprints for creating cyborgs, robots, and superhumans, suitable characters from the story can be modified and a new Viper Gang can be formed.

After learning the whole story from Wu Chen, the members of Team 4 realized that the plot of Fulong Temple was far more complicated than it appeared on the surface.

"The water here is very deep," Captain Nine-Tailed said with a double meaning.

Just then, the radio on the table suddenly crackled to life: "Boss, they're fighting over the snakeskin."

"What?" The female director was taken aback.

The female producer repeated, "They were fighting over the snakeskin hanging on the oil tanker."

"Why?" The female director didn't understand.

"I don't know who told me, but snakeskin has the 'scent' of the queen snake, and wearing it will prevent you from being attacked by pythons," the female producer replied quickly.

"Is it useful?" That's what the female director really cares about.

“From a biological point of view, it should be useful.” The female producer gave an example: “For instance, a hunting dog will tremble when it smells a hand that has touched a tiger. It’s an animal’s instinct.”

"In that case, give me one too," the female director immediately added.

"Roger that, boss." The female producer decisively ended the call. "What do you guys think?" Overjoyed, the female director subconsciously asked the wave-breaking team 4 who had brought back the snakeskin.

"It's just ordinary snakeskin, nothing special," Captain Nine-Tailed said truthfully.

“Yes, ma’am.” The female director’s expression said it all: “But there’s always hope, isn’t there?”

“Indeed.” From an inspirational perspective, the lifeline is also important: “It should be sewn onto the outside of the garment, not against the skin.”

“Of course.” The female director couldn’t be that naive. Clearly encouraged by this timely little interlude, she finally got to the point: “The materials and equipment for repairing the oil tanker can be found at the dock. The only thing we lack is defensive weapons.”

“I’d like to too,” the female director shook her head. “Not high-tech firearms, but cold weapons that we can make using local materials, like harpoons and spears.”

"I understand." This fits the battle royale plot: "So where did the problem lie?"

“Manpower,” the female director replied. “If the current manpower is focused on repairing the ship, no one will be able to manufacture weapons. The reverse is also true.”

A classic choice between two options: repair the ship or manufacture weapons.

"Let's go build weapons," Captain Nine-Tails suggested, choosing a path closer to success.

"Thank you, everyone." This was also what the female director had hoped for.

Leaving the overcrowded hotel, Team 4, following the female director's instructions, headed to the weapons factory.

"This is..." Although they didn't have high expectations for the plot of this safe zone converted from a container terminal, the female warriors of Squad 4 couldn't help but be surprised when they arrived at the weapons factory. Perhaps it was because they were completely unaware of the time and space they were in. In order to survive, the characters in the story were awakened by a powerful survival instinct.

These mechanically powered melee weapons transported everyone into a fantastical post-apocalyptic world.

A crossbow powered by an electric winch, a forklift converted into a razor-sharp barrier, a dump truck modified into a gasoline drum catapult...

"Don't just stand there, ladies. There's still a lot of work to do." The female producer rushed over. She was the head housekeeper of the entire safe zone and the female director's most capable assistant.

"Where do we even begin?" Captain Nine-Tails' expression revealed her complete lack of preparation. Indeed, these improvised "electric melee weapons" caught the high-tech combat team, accustomed to firearms, completely off guard. Even their recently completed virtual reality training hadn't included anything similar. In short, all the team members, including Captain Nine-Tails, were somewhat unaccustomed to them.

"Come with me." The fact that the Nine-Tails Captain inadvertently revealed a weakness in his humanity actually made the female producer feel more at ease.
