Days wandering around Hogwarts

Chapter 488 Difficulties abound

Chapter 488 Difficulties abound
In the mountains near Loch Ness, the night wind was cold and noisy, and the Dementors who came to help were swayed by the wind.

Blake asked anxiously, "Are you ready?"

Although the Dementors were far away and did not affect everyone, he still felt uncomfortable when he saw them.

A light curtain the size of a door panel appeared in front of Mos Jeff, appearing and disappearing from time to time. He and the curse breakers kept hitting it with wands and magic items.

"Don't worry," Moss whispered, "Brute force will make too much noise. We're opening a small door."

Black was not familiar with this kind of technical work, so he could only say, "I'm not in a hurry. I'm just afraid that the Dementors can't wait any longer."

Kitov asked him, "Hey, didn't you say that when you were in Azkaban you often scolded the Dementors so much that they couldn't speak fluently? Why are you still afraid of them?"

Another undercover Death Eater who had been to Azkaban was a little confused. Their cells were on the same floor, and he didn't hear Black cursing the Dementors, but he often heard dogs barking before.

In Hogwarts Castle, Voldemort and the Death Eaters also faced the problem of breaking the curse.

At the end of the corridor, there was a deep hole in the middle of the stone wall, which Voldemort studied for a long time.

Lucius asked Charles seriously, "How did you break the spell?"

Lucius thought that since Charles could get in, he must be able to open the stone. But now he said he couldn't open it, which was obviously a lie. He had to be exposed so that the Dark Lord could punish him.

The Dark Lord hates people who deceive him very much and will never show mercy when it comes to punishment. He can use the magic wand to avenge someone who has their ears pinched.

The Death Eaters around thought it made sense and looked at Charles.

Charles reached out his hand to the stone wall, thrust it in without resistance, and shook it from side to side, saying, "I can pass through it like a ghost."

The Death Eaters suddenly became nervous, afraid that he would run away.

Voldemort glanced at Charles and said, "This is the Chinese wall-walking magic. A long time ago, a greedy and foolish Muggle asked a wizard from Mount Laoshan to cast this magic on him. The Muggle used this magic to become a thief. When the magic disappeared, he hit his head against the wall and died."

"Where did you learn that?"

Charles made up an excuse: "I have a factory in China."

Voldemort snorted coldly and said, "Don't get too close to Muggles."

He then ordered Lucius to cast a spell on the eight stones in order.

Lucius did as he was told, and the stones on the wall quickly moved to both sides.

Jack nodded in his heart as he watched from behind. Tom was a very smart boy. He found the eight "keys" he set in such a short time, except for one.

It would be great if I could find the last one, I could just walk over there later.

"Buzz!"

Just as the group took two steps, a group of thumb-sized hornets flew out from the wall, their black bodies reflecting metallic light.

The Death Eaters were not surprised, as there should be mechanisms in such places.

The black wasp was quickly killed, but a spider as big as a carriage appeared immediately.

Jack built these traps just to prevent students from accidentally breaking in, and they did not cause too much trouble to the Death Eaters.

When they were halfway there, a new roadblock appeared ahead, and this time even Voldemort was scratching his head.

There is no trace of magic on these big rocks, as if the passage is directly connected to the huge rocks in the mountain.

Charles scratched his head a little. With his limited memory, everything in front of him looked like concrete.

When Harry ate Hungarian goulash at the banquet, Voldemort said angrily: "This is Muggle concrete!"

The appearance of such Muggle things in Hogwarts Castle is considered a heinous crime in the eyes of the Death Eaters.

A Death Eater immediately stepped forward and said, "I'll blow it up!"

Then he was slapped, and another Death Eater said, "Do you want to deafen our ears?" Voldemort looked at Lucius and decided to let him do it.

Ordinary concrete is easy for wizards to deal with; a simple Transfiguration spell can turn it into sand.

These concrete walls are layered and can only be changed one layer at a time.

"Oh!"

The third Transfiguration spell went awry, flying from the tip of Lucius' wand and hitting the concrete wall before bouncing back and hitting Rodolphus.

Rodolphus was unable to react and his black cloak instantly turned into sand, which fell off his body and poured into his shoes.

"Lucius!" Rodolphus was very angry and thought he was deliberately making things difficult for him.

Lucius said, "It has a rebound charm on it."

Rodolphus said angrily: "Why didn't you look carefully first!"

Lucius was in the wrong this time. There was no spell on the first two walls, so he thought there was no spell on the third wall either, and he was careless.

He could only remove the curse first and then cast the spell.

However, this wall is only as thick as a finger, and there is another wall behind it.

Lucius said angrily: "Who did this? Why is it so troublesome!"

I don’t know how far ahead is. I’m walking like peeling an onion. I don’t know if I can reach the end before New Year’s Day.

Jack just smiled and said, "Take your time." He wasn't afraid of wasting time anyway.

When the ball is over and Dumbledore realizes that something is wrong, then things will get interesting.

He was calm and composed, but Voldemort and the Death Eaters were extremely anxious.

Tonight, everyone in Hogwarts Castle is attending the Christmas ball, especially since Dumbledore is there and can't leave. It's a rare opportunity.

If you miss it, you don’t know when you will have such an opportunity again.

But they lost their temper over the concrete wall Jack had built a few years before, especially the hopelessly long stretch of road that was completely blocked with concrete and lots of steel bars in it.

Voldemort couldn't help it anymore, so he turned to Charles and asked, "Can you take me in?"

He thought, since Charles could pass through the wall, could he take him with him?

Time waits for no one.

Jack was a little surprised that Voldemort would ask for this.

But Jack was not worried. Now Voldemort's body was just an empty shell and had not recovered his previous strength. Beating him was like playing for Charles.

Charles thought for a moment and replied, "I haven't led anyone through the wall yet, so I may not succeed."

Rodolphus immediately came out and said to Voldemort: "Master, let me try first."

Voldemort agreed and brought Jack here in order to blackmail Charles under the current circumstances.

He said to Charles, "You take him through and bring him back. It's safe here. Don't worry about your grandfather."

Charles smiled and said, "I understand. I won't worry about him."

He reached out and grasped Rodolphus' arm, tried a spell, and then the two of them flew up like ghosts and into the wall.

Time passed little by little, and three minutes seemed so long in Voldemort's eyes.
