Days wandering around Hogwarts

Chapter 450 Sneak Attack

Chapter 450 Sneak Attack
Mr. Malfoy, who paid for the entire store at the communication and notebook store, then invited his classmates to have a big meal at the Dancing Grass restaurant next door.

After leaving the restaurant, the Slytherin students went about their own business. Malfoy did not take the main street, but went back through the residential area.

He was thinking whether he should rent a house here to live in first, which would be more comfortable than living at his aunt's house.

Suddenly, a red light hit him from behind.

Malfoy felt a pain as if his whole body was torn apart, and he fell heavily to the ground.

He was about to scream, but another spell locked the sound in his throat.

Two people rushed out from behind and continuously cast the Cruciatus Curse at Malfoy for five minutes before stopping.

The two gangsters quickly disappeared from the scene, not noticing that someone behind a distant window was seeing the entire scene through a gap in the curtains.

Malfoy lay on the ground, motionless, and it was unknown whether he was dead or alive.

It was not until an hour later that a local resident passing by discovered him.

At that time, Fudge was discussing something with Dumbledore in the Dancing Grass Restaurant. He received the news as soon as possible and rushed to the scene of the crime.

On the other side, Charles was asking the witness: "Are you sure it was the Cruciatus Curse?"

Eleanor said confidently: "I know this spell and I won't make a mistake."

Charles was not surprised that she knew the Cruciatus Curse. He pinched his chin and thought, "It feels weird to me that two students from Durmstrang used the Cruciatus Curse on Malfoy."

Eleanor shrugged and said, "Who knows when he's offended someone."

Charles thought so too and said, "It may be a family feud that has lasted for hundreds or thousands of years."

"Never mind him. If you have time, teach me the Cruciatus Curse."

Eleanor asked in surprise, "You don't know the Cruciatus Curse?"

She felt that with Charles's hard work, he should be able to cast the three unforgivable curses.

Charles shrugged and said, "No time to learn."

Eleanor came here today to pick up the supplies that the centaurs had gathered, so she had nothing else to do, so naturally she was free.

Charles took her to the mirror space and began to study hard, preparing to use the Horcruxes to deal with Voldemort.

The Cruciatus Curse was not difficult for Charles, and he learned it in just over an hour.

He said to Eleanor, "Give me a Cruciatus Curse."

Eleanor tilted her head and asked, "Is there something wrong with your brain?"

She had never seen anyone volunteer to be blasted with the Cruciatus Curse.

Charles said, "I suppose there is a spell that might protect against the Cruciatus Curse."

He really wanted to try whether Voldemort's special anti-magic Shield Charm and "All Curses End" could defend against the three unforgivable curses, but the only person he knew who could use them and who he could discuss with was the old man, so this was a bit beyond the scope.

Eleanor was just right, not too strong.

"Okay." Eleanor raised her wand, "Don't blame me if you get hurt."

"Heart-breaking and bone-cutting!"

"All curses end!"

The two red spells collided with each other, emitting a dazzling light.

Eleanor's Cruciatus Curse was not very powerful and was quickly defeated.

Charles nodded with satisfaction, took out his saber, put the magic wand in it, and then attached "All Curses Are Ended" to the knife, which looked like a burning flame.

Eleanor cast another spell, but this time the Cruciatus Curse was broken by Charles' knife.

She asked, "When did you learn the spell attachment?"

Attaching some projectile spells to an object is an unpopular practice. It is not very practical and is rarely used, so few people study it.

Charles replied: "I learned it with a friend some time ago."

"Again."

He then cast an armor spell specifically designed to resist magic on himself.

The Cruciatus Curse hit the Shield Curse, and it bounced off with a "bang". Charles stumbled and almost fell. From the experimental results, the Shield Curse had limited defensive capabilities against the Cruciatus Curse. Eleanor's Cruciatus Curse could barely block it, but it would probably not work for Voldemort and the others.

When Charles returned, there were still a few people gathered at the crime scene, discussing the attack on Malfoy in twos and threes.

As soon as Charles stood still in the distance, a man came over.

He recognized her as a girl from Durmstrang, her name seemed to be Helen something, but Krum's pronunciation was not correct when he introduced her to him, so he couldn't remember.

"Hello." Helen greeted Charles politely, "Excuse me, are you Charles Smith, the owner of the ruby?"

Charles nodded. The Ruby was much more famous than him in Durmstrang, so he just responded with a few words as a greeting.

He was thinking, could it be that the perpetrator's accomplice came back to see the scene?
Helen asked Charles: "Are you friends with the injured student?"

Charles said in a deep voice: "Not really, but to cause trouble near Hogwarts is to disrespect Hogwarts."

Helen said: "I also hope that the murderer will be severely punished."

"Draco... Malfoy is the first friend I met at Hogwarts. I wonder who he has offended recently."

Charles shrugged and said, "He's offended a lot of people."

There wasn't much to see here, so Charles went back to the castle to have dinner, and Helen went with him.

Along the way, the two chatted idly about boring topics like life in Hogwarts.

Charles felt that Helen's conversation was mature beyond her age.

Not far from Hogsmeade, Hermione and Ginny came back together and greeted Charles from afar when they saw him.

Charles just turned around and responded, but Helen left quickly.

He paid no attention and asked Ginny if she had fun going to Hogsmeade for the first time.

Ginny took out her newly bought communication notebook and wanted to add Charles as her friend.

There are many people who share the same idea as her.

Before dinner that day, students who had bought communication notebooks were busy running back and forth in the cafeteria expanding their friend lists. Even when the food was served, the sound of "adding friends" did not stop.

Charles set his purple notebook to busy mode, and would automatically reply "eating" to any message he received, and then start eating.

Erica picked up a crispy roast pork elbow for him and said, "Can you take me to the owl room later? I want to send the notebook to Marlene."

Charles nodded and agreed, it was a piece of cake.

But after he took Erica to the owl room, he was dragged to Erica's dormitory.

"Do you live alone?" Charles remembered that the guests usually stayed in rooms with several people.

Erica said nonchalantly, "Yeah, no one wants to live with me. I'm used to it."

"That's just fine, no one will disturb us."

She said and licked her lips.

Charles said: "It's enough for us to know about this matter, don't tell anyone else."

Erica nodded and said, "I know."

More than an hour later, Charles left the room and Erica was already fast asleep from drinking too much.

He hadn't walked far when he heard a low voice coming from behind the corner of the corridor ahead.

Helen, whom I met in the afternoon, said in English: "I warned you!"

This was followed by two sneers.

Karkaroff's voice came from the other side: "What are you doing, trying to lure Dumbledore here?"

Helen snorted coldly and said nothing more.

Then Karkaroff, Helen, and two Durmstrang students, a boy and a girl, walked over and returned to their respective rooms.

Charles used invisibility and hid on the ceiling, and found that the man and woman were the murderers who attacked Malfoy as Eleanor said.

This situation made him suspicious and he felt that there was some secret.
