Homecoming from Hogwarts

Chapter 1375: Perfect Time Logic

It was only a blink of an eye later that Harry's feet were standing on the solid floor of the Room of Requirement again.

His face was covered in blood, his expression was still confused, and his body was tied up tightly.

Ron and Hermione were lying on the ground, tears of fear still on their faces and their open mouths not closed.

A few steps away, young Professor Brain was also looking at him with a look of surprise.

Amosta saw Harry's bloody face and the time-turner hanging around Harry's neck that had just belonged to Delphi.
"what happened?"

Amosta frowned, looked at Harry whose wound was still bleeding, and asked suspiciously,

"You defeated Delphi and stole her Time Turner. How did you do all this when you were tied up and didn't have a wand?"

At this moment, the anger in Harry's eyes when he looked at Professor Brain was gone, and admiration surged out from his green eyes again.

Harry opened his mouth, but didn't know how to express what he had just witnessed.

"Did anyone help you?"

Amosta raised his eyebrows.

After a moment's hesitation, Harry nodded.

"who is it?"

Amosta continued to ask.

But Harry still didn't say anything. He just looked at Hermione a little uncertainly, and then turned his gaze to the young Professor Brain.

Amosta suddenly sneered, and at the same time he breathed a sigh of relief, he understood what was going on.

That’s an easy guess, isn’t it?
There are two things that can be confirmed.

First, it was just as I guessed.

He didn't die in the so-called 'Hogwarts Crusade' at all. Delphi was just playing the information asymmetry game to bully the three Gryffindor students who didn't know as much about the future as she did.

Secondly, the reason why Delphi can travel through time again and again is probably with the tacit consent of her future self.

Otherwise, Amosita couldn't understand why his future self knew that Voldemort's daughter was planning to go back in time and kill him, but he didn't take any preventive measures.

With a wave of his wand, Amosita loosened the ropes that bound Harry and the other two.

Ron and Hermione jumped up immediately and came to Harry's left and right to support him.

"your face!"

Hermione quickly wiped the blood off Harry with her sleeve.

"What's going on, brother, how did you handle that filthy witch."

"Here, use this—"

Amosta pulled out a bottle of Baixian from his pocket and threw it over.

"Oh!"

Hermione took it in a panic, uncorked it, smelled it and figured out what it was. She said stiffly,

"Thank you, Professor—"

"Don't call me professor, I'm a student like you, and--"

Amosta turned around and walked back to the chest of drawers, sat down, and said expressionlessly,

"I don't want to admit to you guys either. Forget it."

Harry, Hermione, and Ron looked at each other, and when they came to their senses, they all kept their heads down and said nothing.

The atmosphere was slightly awkward.

Feeling a slight tingling sensation at the wound, Harry reached out and scratched it, giving Hermione a grateful smile.

"Bryan, eh, Amosta?"

Harry hesitated.

"Ok?"

"Why would Delphi be so determined to kill me? I mean, she could have left right after stealing my Time-Turner, right?"

Harry whispered, with a blush on his face, as if he still couldn't get rid of the guilt of treating Professor Brain as a coward.

Amosta snorted coldly.
"What would you do if she got hold of your Time Turner and left immediately?"

"Maybe--"

The three of them looked at each other, and the girl with fluffy brown hair said cautiously,
"In that case, if you are unwilling to help us, I think we will go to Professor Dumbledore -"

"That's it—"

Amosta said in a matter-of-fact tone,

"Dumbledore. Humph, he will surely come up with a foolproof plan for you. For example, he will give you a time converter so that you can go back to the future. I think this is a piece of cake for the greatest wizard of our time—"

Seeing the three people with a flash of realization in their eyes, Amosta adjusted his thoughts and stared at Hermione.
"You just said .zhounan, Miss Granger, where did you hear this word?" After a short silence, Hermione remained cautious, although she was sure that Professor Brain in front of her was no longer dangerous.

“It was you who told us in the future.”

"Oh, really?"

Amosta was not surprised at all, his sharp eyes were still fixed on her.
"Presumably, it was not mentioned as a topic of casual conversation during a pleasant afternoon tea party?"

"I can't say, T. Amosta—"

After another brief silence, Hermione said apologetically,

"Professor Dumbledore has warned us that time is the most wonderful and dangerous force. When we fool it, we'd better be as cautious as possible. He believes that we don't need to reveal too much about the future to you."

Amosta rolled his eyes, his tone revealing displeasure.

"It sounds like something Dumbledore would say. But in that situation just now, since you mentioned 'zhounan', I must have told you something about this word. In the future?"

Ron stared at Professor Brian in awe. Even though he was about the same age as them!

This sharpness shows his wisdom!
"You did say—"

Hermione also looked at Amosta with admiration.

"You told me that if we ever needed to prove our identity, we should tell you the name. You also told us not to reveal anything else."

"Is it?"

Amosta frowned and fell into deep thought.

Zhou Nan!

His name in his previous life and his experiences in his previous life were his biggest secrets. It was impossible for him to simply use this name as a password for recognition.

Under what circumstances would he tell the three of them this name?

Damn!

Amosta stared at Harry and the other two, and his gloomy gaze made them shudder.

I’m really curious about the future!
However, curiosity was one thing, and Amosta knew that these three people would not be able to tell him too much.

Unless, he subdues them and examines their heads himself.

But if he really did this, no matter what the original future would be like, it would probably be messed up by him!
"Go ahead--"

Amosta breathed a sigh of relief, suppressing his desire for knowledge.
"Dumbledore. Or, my future self, ask you to ask me for something in the future. I can't think of how I can help you."

After a lot of twists and turns, things are finally back on track.

After the shock from Delphi just now, Harry felt like crying.

"We're here to take the uh, blood from you, Delphi's blood—"

After exchanging glances, Harry and Ron simultaneously stepped back behind Hermione, allowing her to communicate with the young Professor Braine.

Amosta raised his eyebrows in surprise.
"And I told you that I had this in my hand?"

"It was Professor Dumbledore who deduced—"

Hermione is very frugal with words.

"Oh, of course, it should also be under your arrangement--"

Hermione glanced at the coins and books around Professor Blaine.

"Twenty days ago, I did collect some of Delphic's blood in the Forbidden Forest—"

Amosta narrowed his eyes, his expression looked a little serious.

"But I have already used it?"

"what!"

Harry screamed.

"I did that to find out who was trying to kill me in the Forbidden Forest—"

Amosta said,
"I think you should know that some magic can be traced back. I cast a spell on the blood sample a week later.
It failed, and I didn't understand why. Now I know why. It's because Delphi doesn't belong to my time and space at all."

"Then what should we do? That blood is of vital importance!"

Hermione also screamed in despair, even more desperate than when she had just mistakenly thought that Professor Blaine had "defected to the enemy."

Amostas bit his lip and looked at the time converter on the scar-headed boy's chest. Suddenly, he was stunned and turned his gaze to the ground.

Looking at the pool of blood spilling on the ground after Delphi's chest exploded, Amosita smiled.

"Isn't there something fresh--"
