Homecoming from Hogwarts

Chapter 1365 Memories under the dormitory floor!

Draco's sudden words surprised Dumbledore a little. He fixed his eyes on Draco's face.

"It's about Professor Blaine, right?"

Draco nodded.
"Also in the second year. I think it was Professor Blaine's first day back at Hogwarts."

Professor Blaine's first day at Hogwarts?
Harry and the other two looked at each other, and they all recalled some things.

"I was writing a letter to my dad."

When Draco mentioned his father, his nose twitched and his voice became a little hoarse.

"He walked into the common room and told me why he came to Hogwarts. Then, he said he suddenly remembered that he had left something in his dormitory during school, and he wanted to get it back."

"You suddenly remembered?"

Dumbledore frowned suddenly and asked Malfoy to confirm this.

"Yes, that's what he said at the time."

After thinking it over carefully, Draco nodded.

"If i remember correctly--"

Dumbledore showed a thoughtful expression, his eyes cast over Harry and the others.

"Amosta arrived at Hogwarts the night before. Severus, you took him to the school. After chatting with me about the past, you took him to the school hospital to visit the petrified little wizard?"

Severus nodded.

"Amosta first met you there, didn't she, Hermione?"

Dumbledore looked at Hermione again, and the latter nodded uncomfortably.

She was caught eavesdropping on a conversation between Professors Blaine and Snape, and Professor Blaine called her 'cat-eared girl'!
"And then—"

Dumbledore pondered.

"Amosta slept in your office. Severus, the next day, if I remember correctly, Amosta went to Hogsmeade first and ordered some panoramic telescopes. It was you who met him, Minerva--"

"I don't know if it was, but Amosta did come to me that day and persuade me to set up his surveillance cameras in the school—"

At some point, a tense atmosphere enveloped the bar, and everyone tried to slow down their breathing as they watched Dumbledore search for clues in the past.

"He did go back to the Slytherin common room. I thought he was going to reminisce -"

Dumbledore's eyes were empty, and it was obvious that he was also recalling.

"He met you on the way to the common room, didn't he, Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Hagrid?"

Everyone whose name was called nodded.

"There was something wrong with him--"

Hagrid narrowed his eyes and said,

"He saw Harry and seemed shocked. He almost fell down. I helped him up."

Harry nodded, acknowledging what Hagrid said.

"That's right."

Dumbledore nodded as if he understood something.

"Please continue, Draco—"

Draco was also attracted by what Hagrid said. He calmed himself down, took a breath and said,
"Coincidentally, Professor Blaine and I shared the same dormitory at Hogwarts, and the position of our beds was the same."

Harry raised his eyebrows.

What a wonderful coincidence.

"Is that so, Severus?"

Dumbledore looked at Snape.

"Yes."

Severus glanced at Draco first, then recalled and nodded.

“It’s amazing”

Dumbledore muttered.
"Then?"

"He dug a hole in the floor next to the bed and used magic to cover it. He used his own blood to break the spell."

"blood?"

Dumbledore also raised his eyebrows, his eyes flashed with thoughts, and whispered,

"That doesn't seem like Amosta's style. Oh, sorry, Draco, go on--"

"Nothing more—"

Draco said,

"There was a stone box buried in the cave, but he didn't open it in front of me. He used an eight-eyed spider to guard the stone box in the cave. Before taking the stone box, he killed the eight-eyed spider."

"That stone box must be very important."

Dumbledore looked up at the oil lamp hanging from the beam and analyzed to himself,

"He was afraid that something might go wrong so he stayed in Hogwarts. But before leaving school, how could he know that he would return to Hogwarts?
He spent the night in Severus' office. If he remembered it, he should have gone but he didn't go until the next day. He said he suddenly remembered that something was wrong when he saw Harry."

Dumbledore took a deep breath.
"I see--" "What is going on here, Dumbledore?"

Sirius was so anxious that sweat broke out on his back.

Severus also stood up, staring at Dumbledore with burning eyes.

"Why do you say that you want them to go back to the past? You should know that this is more dangerous than anything they have ever experienced."

"Look at the date, Severus—"

Dumbledore simply showed him the date on the book that Amosstar had left for Hermione.

1986 12 Month 27 Day.

"Amosta was in fifth grade."

Severus was in a trance for a moment and said in a deep voice.

"Could it be the night he was attacked by the black witch?!"

Hermione blurted out a sudden inspiration.

"Oh, it's not—"

Dumbledore shook his head and looked at Harry and the other two.

"It was the night twenty days after that, when apparently something unknown happened at Hogwarts and you--"

Dumbledore bent down and looked at Harry and the other two seriously.

"I'm afraid it was at Hogwarts that night!"

Professor Dumbledore's gaze gave Harry goosebumps all over his body!
“I I don’t understand”

Hermione also stuttered.

"You've time traveled, Hermione—"

Dumbledore said,
"Time travel can change things while avoiding all risks."

"But... what are we going to do, Professor?"

Harry took a deep breath, and the firelight reflected in his green eyes stabilized.

"It is now clear--"

Dumbledore straightened up, his old face full of seriousness and solemnity, and he spoke quickly.
"The three gifts that Amosta left for you were all prepared for this time travel. In Amosta's memory, he must have seen you that night, and the purpose of your trip is to get blood from Amosta's hands."

"Blood?!"

Ron's voice was trembling and his face was horrified.

"Yes, that's right—"

Dumbledore said affirmatively,

"That blood is from the black witch who attacked Amosita in the Forbidden Forest. Amosita must have collected her blood at that time. We don't have time to wait another ten months to plan this. We must get that blood as soon as possible."

What do you mean there is no time to wait another ten months to plan this?
Including Harry who was going to the past, the three of them were confused.

But Dumbledore did not explain. He explained anxiously,

“I don’t need to elaborate on how dangerous it is to go back to the past, especially on a time scale of nearly ten years. Any slight change will make the world completely unrecognizable!
You must remember that, except for Amosta, you are not allowed to contact anyone from Hogwarts!"

Harry and the other two could only nod, too exhausted to think.

"You must subtly prove your identity to Amosita at that time. This means that you must appropriately reveal some of the future. I mean, for Amosita at that time, things that had not yet happened."

Dumbledore stared into Hermione's eyes as he spoke, but Hermione was too exhausted to ask any questions as her mind was working at full capacity.

"Knowing the future in advance is also a very dangerous thing. The same is true for Amosita, because when a person knows the direction of the future, he will absolutely not be able to restrain the desire to make the future easier. And this is an absolute taboo for time!"

Dumbledore's expression couldn't be any more severe.
"After you get the blood, you must tell Faamosta to erase all his memories of the future he saw you that night and the memories you voluntarily revealed.
Of course, at this point, it seems very likely that Amosta extracted the memories of that night and stored them in his dormitory.

I think he must have cast a spell on himself, and when he returns to Hogwarts one day and sees you, he will remember that he once saved a memory under the floor of his former dormitory."

Harry and the other two looked at Draco, not knowing what expression to make.

“Amosta is a conceited and talented wizard, but this is all the more dangerous.

So you must convince him not to keep that memory. Time is the most wonderful and dangerous power. When we fool with it, we'd better be extremely cautious! "

Dumbledore blurted out, but after he said it, he smiled bitterly and a look of emotion flashed across his face.

It turns out that he really said these words to Amosta first.

"Can I ask a question, Professor--"

Hermione raised her hands tremblingly, and she seemed to have accepted the fact that she was about to go back to nearly ten years ago.

Dumbledore nodded.

"Who was the black witch who attacked Professor Brian back then? Why do we have to get her blood?"

Hermione asked.

"Because the witch's blood can help us. Help Amosta travel to the stars, and also help us open the door of the chamber of secrets in Slytherin's chamber of secrets.
I think behind that door is the solution to the crisis prepared for us by the four founders of Hogwarts, and her identity--"

Dumbledore held his breath and looked hesitant.
