Homecoming from Hogwarts
Chapter 1359 The Secret of Amosta (Part )
Sirius' words drew everyone's attention from the sword in Neville's hand to himself, and changed the dull atmosphere in the bar.
Professor Blaine had predicted it. He'd told Sirius!
The lividity on Harry's face immediately faded, and his cheeks became rosy! Hermione also tried to open her red and swollen eyes, staring at Sirius with a look of surprise.
A dusty memory rolled over in my mind.
"Really? It was the summer vacation two years ago."
Dumbledore's eyes flashed with a faint light. He gasped twice and left Grindelwald's support.
"Yeah. That's right, Amosta said you would tell me something, but before that."
Dumbledore looked at Vitia.
"Ms. Cliona, you and Amosta came into contact at an earlier time, correct?"
"It was the summer vacation of the previous year—"
Vitia nodded.
"Well, I'd like to hear your story first, Ms. Cliona—"
Dumbledore said,
"Amosta broke the seals of Merlin and Gryffindor and got the Staff of the Twin Snakes. But as far as I know, it was you who gave the Staff of the Twin Snakes to Voldemort. What's going on?"
The atmosphere silently became solemn, and everyone foresaw that they were about to hear a huge secret!
"I don't know what's going on with Gryffindor—"
Vitiya said that after some hesitation, she decided to hide Jin Kui's identity for Amosta.
She began to tell the story.
In fact, to her, it was not such an exciting adventure story.
She followed the divination results of the previous generation of priests, found Amosta, and invited him to explore the island of Avalon together.
She and Amosta parted at the entrance door, and she went straight into the temple vestibule to wait while Amosta explored Avalon on his own.
When the two met again, Amosta had already broken the seal and obtained the Twin Snake Staff.
People held their breath and listened to her narration of the mysterious and bizarre past.
The story was told quickly, but people became more confused!
"The Staff asked you to give it to Voldemort. Why on earth was that?"
Sirius couldn't help but ask.
"I have no idea."
Vitia lowered her head to hide her guilt.
"I thought at the time that the double snake staff might have identified Voldemort as the one who could really help the druids take revenge. But then I came to my senses and realized that this didn't make sense. Why would the double snake staff be pulled out by Amosta?"
This is indeed a strange thing.
People turned their eyes to Dumbledore, hoping his wisdom could help them solve their puzzles.
“That doesn’t make sense.”
Dumbledore paced in front of the stone wall. He ignored the inquiring gazes of the crowd and just immersed himself in his own thoughts while whispering,
"Amosta opened the seal. Oh, the seal of Merlin and Godric Gryffindor, reasonable. No, Amosta probably doesn't have such magic power, unless... unless they deliberately left a flaw. But, the double snake staff"
Merlin and the Big Four undoubtedly glimpsed the future and made some arrangements.
But what about the twin snake staff?
Dumbledore shook his hand imperceptibly. The powerful staff had its own consciousness, and it would not allow anyone to touch it easily. His dead left hand was the price he paid for his rash action.
Why did it allow Amosta to pick it up but then abandon Amosta immediately?
Yes. In order to get out of trouble with the help of Amosta and then find the wizard he really likes?
This seems like a reasonable explanation, but if we consider that Gryffindor and Merlin knew about Amosta's existence,
They allowed Amosta to break their seal. Presumably, they should have foreseen that the Twin Snake Staff would not submit to Amosta.
Dumbledore frowned and stopped.
Faintly, he seemed to feel that the caduceus, no, it should be the owner of the caduceus, Merlin and the four giants were all planning something around Amosta in order to achieve their own intentions.
Merlin and the Big Four should have the same goals.
Dumbledore narrowed his eyes and stared at the last two stone carvings, the Grim Reaper who was about to throw his caduceus, and Merlin who was standing dejectedly in front of the temple.
"The war that took place more than a dozen centuries ago is still going on today, right?"
Dumbledore's dim eyes peeked through the mist of history and whispered. His haggard face seemed to have regained some spirit, his cheeks were rosy, and he seemed a little excited.
"But what are we going to do? What does Amosta want us to do? I need more information."
Dumbledore raised his voice and looked at Sirius.
"I want to hear your story, Sirius, the whole story, without leaving out any details!"
"Oh yeah, okay!"
Sirius took a deep breath.
"That's what happened. It was during the summer vacation, or half a year earlier actually. We had just returned to the old house after finding Regulus's body. It was Christmas vacation."
It was a long time ago, Sirius recalled and said,
"That day I walked into Amosta's room and saw him reading a Muggle magazine. Oh, the cover was a very famous Muggle attraction - Stonehenge. I told Amosta that those stone pillars looked a little familiar.
Amosta seemed to care about this very much. When I told him that I had seen a pillar similar to that one in Azkaban, he hoped that I could take him to Azkaban. At that time, he was not so famous, and he seemed to want this matter to be kept secret--"
The temple in the center of the Isle of Avalon was moved by Merlin from Azkaban.
Dumbledore's eyes moved, and he remembered what Amosta had said.
Dumbledore looked at the Grim Reaper who threw the double snake staff.
So, after Hercule was defeated, he threw the Caduceus into Azkaban, but Merlin found it.
Merlin should not be able to destroy it, and he might not even be able to touch it, so he moved the entire temple out of Azkaban to prevent its power from harming the world.
"We drifted on the sea for many days before finally approaching Azkaban. The island was protected by a powerful magic, and Amostar fought against that magic. Something happened. In short, in the blink of an eye, the protective magic no longer worked. The sun shone down, and Amostar and I floated on the sponge. A ship approached us, and the people on it were-"
Even today, Sirius still feels agitated when recalling that history.
"It's Godric Gryffindor and Rowena Ravenclaw!"
Ravenclaw and Gryffindor!
Professor Flitwick, standing at the round table, clenched his fists excitedly.
Harry opened his mouth, but Hermione sternly gestured to him to silence him.
The next step is to explore Azkaban following the memories of Gryffindor and Ravenclaw.
Compared to many things that happened today, the people in the bar were so numb that they didn't show any shock when they learned that there was an ancient wizard's lair under the island of Azkaban.
When Hermione heard that the owner of the nest actually used the hands and heads of house-elves to make stairs leading to the lava, she was so furious that her eyes widened!
"That stone door!"
When Sirius mentioned the stone door in the Star Chamber, Harry couldn't help but scream.
"I saw it in the Department of Mysteries at the Ministry of Magic last night. And in Hufflepuff's memory. Oh, I didn't even remember it!"
Memories of Hufflepuff!
Professor Sprout looked at Harry longingly.
"Wait a moment, Harry, I'm waiting for Sirius to say -"
Dumbledore glanced at Harry, and then Harry stopped.
"After leaving the nest, the memory ended, and Amosta and I returned to the real world. Oh, but Amosta seemed to have something unclear. After his memory ended, he went to Azkaban alone."
Sirius said.
"Is it?"
Dumbledore's eyebrows twitched, and he seemed to be quite concerned about this message.
He began to pace in front of the stone wall and talk to himself again.
"Gryffindor and Ravenclaw guided you to see this memory, what is its value?
That nest.
Helbo created the Dementors. Oh, what a wonderful truth, using the magic of Horcruxes to separate people's souls into the realm of life and death.
Gryffindor and Ravenclaw care so much about destroying Dementors, but it's probably not because they don't like Dementors.
Ravenclaw said. said."
Dumbledore turned his head, as if he had noticed something, and looked at Grindelwald with a surprised look on his face.
"Herbo also invented the Hallows. Ravenclaw said it was the exact opposite of the Horcruxes!"
"The Double Snake Staff is a holy weapon!"
After being silent for a while, Grindelwald finally spoke. A sharp light flashed in his silver eyes, and he spoke in a deep voice.
