Chapter 663: Peeping into the Secret of Transmission and Meeting the Great Sun Tathagata

Chapter 663: Peeping into the Secret of Transmission and Meeting the Great Sun Tathagata
It was noon, and the Tiantai sect's ceremony was taking place. The scene was filled with golden light and brilliant brilliance. There were even the sounds of Sanskrit chanting and the recitation of scriptures.

Even though this place was in ruins due to the previous fierce battle, even the main hall collapsed.

But against the backdrop of the Buddha's shining light and the chanting of Sanskrit, it still appears majestic and solemn.

The golden light and fireworks were emitted from Master Henglin and Monk Deyun.

Because it was so intense, people around dared not look directly at it.

Zhang Zhiwei's divine eyes were not afraid of light and heat, and he witnessed the entire process of the transmission.

He saw that as Master Henglin hammered down, it was as if a huge sun rose up, shining brightly.

That is not the real sun, it is the scene created by the changes of Buddha's light and qi.

And around the sun, the six Sanskrit words "Om", "Ma, Ni", "Pad", "Mi", and "Hum" light up at the same time, emitting pure light, and many golden swastika symbols float up and down.

Many characters jumped around the two people who were transmitting the message like musical notes, and the huge sun above their heads was magnificent and scorching, seeming to contain extremely terrifying power.

Zhang Zhiwei gazed at the big sun. He felt a heat wave coming and a burning sensation between his eyeballs.

This heat wave is not real temperature, and it does not burn the body, but directly targets the spirit.

Zhang Zhiwei was very familiar with this burning feeling. When he was in an inner scene, if he touched on some taboos, the big fireball that appeared would be this burning feeling.

However, the temperature brought by this sun seems to be a little hotter than that of the fireball.

It was forcing itself to close its eyes... Zhang Zhiwei reacted instantly.

Immediately, golden flames boiled in his eyes, emitting a blazing light that resisted the terrible high temperature.

His divine eyes of delusion are an ability born from the faith of all living beings after he constructed the mask of divinity.

Able to see through illusions, and ignite the target wherever his eyes reach, just like a magnifying glass focusing sunlight to ignite paper.

Because the latter requires a little concentration time and is far less easy to use than the golden light that can be used as easily as one's own arm, he does not use it very often.

However, he often uses the ability to see through illusions.

Moreover, as his life cultivation, especially his "sexual" cultivation, becomes stronger, this ability also improves.

At this moment, the light and heat emitted by the big sun that appeared above the heads of Master Henglin and Monk Deyun could no longer stop Zhang Zhiwei's gaze.

His eyes saw through the big sun and saw the scene inside, which was filled with golden color.

His perspective kept zooming out inside the sun, and the golden color seemed endless.

Finally, in the endless Buddha's light, he saw an entity.

It was a figure sitting there, wearing a cassock, but the face and figure were a little blurry, like a simple drawing outlined in pencil, and then most of it was erased with an eraser, so it was very blurry and sloppy.

"It looks familiar, I seem to have seen it somewhere before."

Zhang Zhiwei thought for a moment and suddenly remembered that this was Master Kuruo. Although the figure was blurry, some of his charm could not be deceived.

Master Kurong, who looked like a stick figure, did not seem to notice Zhang Zhiwei's arrival and was chanting Buddhist mantras unconsciously.

"This situation..."

Zhang Zhiwei inexplicably thought of the black magician White in the story of Nathan Island.

White wanted to destroy the sacred tree of Nathan, but accidentally broke the golden branch and became a candidate for the king.

After he was killed, he entered the interior of the tree and assimilated with it. Later, when Behemoth was digging the sacred tree, he could still see his half-human, half-tree figure.

“Ku Rong’s situation is somewhat similar to that of the black magician White, so where I am now is the interior of the Buddhist heritage, which is equivalent to the sacred forest at the root of the sacred tree on Nasen Island.”

Zhang Zhiwei thought to himself.

Immediately, he moved his gaze away from Ku Rong. He looked at himself and found that he was also made up of a tangled bunch of lines.

Some of the lines are black and white, while others sparkle with gold.

The brightest part of the golden light is the head, which looks like it is forged from gold, with almost no visible lines.

The two eyes are the brightest in the head, just like two high-wattage light bulbs.

Zhang Zhiwei is no stranger to this situation.

He hadn't been in this state for some time, and now he realized that he had changed a lot compared to before.

At the very beginning, he was made up of a group of black and white lines, but the lines of ordinary people were matchstick men, while his lines were much more complicated. He was a black and white stick figure made up of countless lines.

Of course, although both of them are simple sketches of human figures, his number of strokes and proportion of space are far superior to Master Kuruo.

But as he practiced the mask of divinity and established the Tiantong Hall, his stick figure was injected with a touch of color and a touch of gold. The first thing to change was the head, and then it spread to the surrounding areas.

But now, he has nothing to do with stick drawings.

He is more like an unfinished colorful oil painting, and the overall style... is just like himself shining with golden light.

At this moment, he was very tall, but it was difficult for him to say how tall he was. Anyway, Ku Rong gave him a very small feeling.

"Those black and white lines are the destiny of all living beings. My destiny is much thicker than that of others."

"So, I took advantage of the small gap when Master Henglin was imparting the Dharma, broke through the obstruction, and forced my way to see here."

"From what Master said before, I guessed that the Heavenly Master Degree contained some of the subjective thoughts of the Ancestral Heavenly Master, or in other words, the Heavenly Master Degree was actually a continuation of the subjective thoughts of the Ancestral Heavenly Master."

"The subjectivity of the Grandmaster is objective to us disciples of the Tianshi Mansion."

“After we pass away, our honed subjectivity will rely on the subjective existence of our ancestor, the Heavenly Master.”

"Then Buddhism should be similar to Tianshi Mansion. In other words, what I see now is actually the subjective opinion of Buddha."

"And the withering and flourishing should only be a very insignificant part of the Buddha's subjective mind."

Thinking of this, Zhang Zhiwei shifted his gaze away from Ku Rong and looked around.

Sure enough, besides Ku Rong, there were many old monks around whom he did not know.

These old monks are also made up of simple drawings, but their shapes and faces are mostly clearer than Ku Rong’s, and you can see the compassion on their faces.

In addition, there were a few old monks with dazzling golden light shining in their bodies.

Moreover, their bodies are much larger than other monks such as Kuruo and Rong, just like the Dharma protectors in Buddhism.

Zhang Zhiwei looked at these monks and guessed that they were all abbots or eminent monks of the Tiantai Sect.

Although these people have long passed away, their finely honed subjectivity has remained.

Those who look like golden arhats are the ones with high cultivation.

Those who look like stick figures are monks who blend in with the crowd and are inconspicuous.

Those who are as vague as Kuruo are not very skilled in cultivation.

After learning all this, Zhang Zhiwei focused his attention on those old monks who looked like golden arhats.

These old monks all had their eyes closed, like the Buddha statues in the temple, but their lips kept opening and closing as if they were chanting Buddhist scriptures.

He looked for a while and suddenly found something unusual. He thought and zoomed out. Soon, he saw that the old monks, including Ku Rong, were like puzzle pieces in a painting, forming a huge Bodhisattva stepping on a lotus.

If you look at it from a distant perspective, Bodhisattvas are just Bodhisattvas, and you can't see any old monks.

But once the view is zoomed in, the Bodhisattva disappears and the old monks stand out.

Zhang Zhiwei: "…………"

This scene is undoubtedly creepy. If you have trypophobia, you will definitely not be able to watch this.

Zhang Zhiwei carefully observed the Bodhisattva and confirmed that he did not know this person. Then he looked around.

Around that Bodhisattva, there were many Bodhisattvas, Arhats, and Vajras. They were both male and female, with different expressions, and they were arranged like the old monks before.

“Since the old monk constitutes the Bodhisattva, what about these Bodhisattvas?”

Zhang Zhiwei continued to zoom out and found that those Bodhisattvas and Arhats formed a huge Buddha that was completely green and transparent.

The Buddha has the Acalanatha seal in his hands.

This handprint is very conspicuous, and Zhang Zhiwei guessed that this Buddha is the Immovable Buddha of the East.

"The Immovable Buddha of the East is one of the Five Buddhas. Now that he has appeared, the other four Buddhas should also be around!"

Zhang Zhiwei looked around the Immovable Buddha, and the first thing he saw was a Buddha with a bright golden body, sitting cross-legged on a nine-level lotus pedestal, as if he had infinite light.

The composition of this Buddha is the same as that of the Acalanatha Buddha just mentioned, and the basic units are all monks.

At the same time, Zhang Zhiwei also recognized this Buddha. He corresponded to the Taoist Eastern Qinghua Emperor, the Lord of the Western Pure Land, Amitabha, who was mentioned by the monks every day.

"Two of the Five Buddhas have appeared," Zhang Zhiwei continued to look around.

Soon, he saw the Southern Ratnasambhava Tathagata Buddha, whose whole body was golden, with his left hand in the fundamental concentration mudra and his right hand in the granting and wishing mudra.

As well as the northern Amoghasiddhi Buddha, whose body is iron green and whose hands are in the mudra of fearlessness.

Four of the Five Buddhas have appeared. Zhang Zhiwei continues to look for the Vairocana Buddha who sits in the center of the Five Buddhas.

After searching for a while, he also saw Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, Manjusri Bodhisattva, Maitreya Buddha, Dipankara Buddha, Many Treasures Buddha, Medicine Buddha...

He saw almost all the famous Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in Buddhism, but he did not see Vairocana Buddha, one of the Five Buddhas, nor did he see Sakyamuni Buddha.

"If I don't see Sakyamuni or Mahavairocana, then..."

Zhang Zhiwei's mind moved, and he continued to expand the perspective.

The Buddhas were all very large in size. This time he pulled the image very far away, so far that he could no longer see the figures of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, before he made a new discovery.

He saw a golden arm that was emitting an intense blazing light. Even in his current state, his eyes still felt stinging, as if he was looking directly into the sun.

The Buddha statue was so large that he could not see the whole thing at a glance.

"It is countless times larger than the ones I have seen before. In Buddhism, is there a Buddha with such a high status?"

Zhang Zhiwei was confused and continued to zoom out.

As the view zoomed out, Zhang Zhiwei could finally see the figure of the Buddha clearly.

It was a golden Buddha, sitting in cross-legged position, wearing a five-Buddha crown on his head, adorned with garlands and jewels all over his body. He had the thirty-two marks and eighty characteristics of a Buddha. All the descriptions of the Buddha could be found in him.

The golden Buddha placed his hands in front of his chest and made the wisdom fist seal. The Buddha's light behind his head was shaped like a big sun, perfect and flawless. It was exactly the same as the big sun above the heads of Master Henglin and Monk Deyun in the outside world, except that it was countless times larger.

Zhang Zhiwei only took a glance and confirmed the identity of this giant Buddha composed of countless Buddhist practitioners, Bodhisattvas and Buddhas - Vairocana Tathagata.

When you stare into the abyss, the abyss stares into you.

When Zhang Zhiwei saw Vairocana Tathagata, Vairocana Tathagata also looked at him.

The light of the sun, the wisdom of the Buddha, is neither born nor destroyed, and is perfect in all virtues. It shines everywhere and eliminates all darkness.

In an instant, Zhang Zhiwei was enveloped by an extreme light.

The lights were so hot that he felt as if he was on fire.

Zhang Zhiwei suddenly felt uneasy, and a dazzling golden light flashed in his eyes. He looked straight ahead, trying to break through the layer of scorching light like before.

But this time was different from before. The sun disc on Vairocana Tathagata's head and his eyes gave Zhang Zhiwei a feeling of looking directly at three suns.

These three suns are rotating, and every choice releases infinite light and infinite heat.

These dazzling lights suppressed the light in his eyes and burned his eyes.

But in the current state, he is not seeing with his eyes, so he can still see the current scene clearly.

Vairocana Tathagata just looked at him without any other action.

But Zhang Zhiwei had a feeling that he was seen through.

It was as if I was a Buddha statue made of colored glass, illuminated by the blazing light, transparent inside and out. Every pore in my body and every thought in my mind were clearly illuminated in the sunlight, leaving no secrets at all.

At the same time, Zhang Zhiwei had an urge to merge into the bodies of those old monks, those bodhisattvas, arhats, and Buddhas and become a part of them.

This was very uncomfortable, and Zhang Zhiwei quickly gathered his thoughts, maintaining his own subjective independence and not being influenced by everything around him.

Then, he began to separate his own subjectivity from here.

This was not difficult for Zhang Zhiwei. Soon, his connection with the surroundings was rapidly weakening, and he was about to retreat from here.

During this process, Zhang Zhiwei had a feeling that the Buddha in front of him did not make things too difficult for him. He watched him leave without chasing him or taking any other action.

Zhang Zhiwei's perspective rapidly zoomed away, and soon, the figure of Vairocana Tathagata disappeared.

After passing through a passage of golden light, his consciousness was completely stripped away.

He saw Master Henglin and Monk Deyun again, as well as the red sun hovering above their heads.

And in that sun, Zhang Zhiwei seemed to see a figure.

The figure took ten steps in each of the four directions, then pointed to the sky with one hand and the ground with the other, and uttered a thunderous sound:

"I am the only one in heaven and under heaven!"

Immediately afterwards, the red sun slowly sank into the top of Monk Deyun's head and disappeared, and the figure inside also disappeared.

The light and heat disappeared, and the transmission ended.

Master Henglin took a few steps back, sat upright on the ground, closed his eyes and gasped.

Monk Deyun stood there, with his hands clasped together and a compassionate look on his face.

"Is this the end of the Tiantai Sect's ordination?" someone asked.

Because from their perspective, Master Henglin hit Monk Deyun on the top of his head with a hammer, and then, a golden light shone brightly, their eyes hurt so much that they had to close their eyes. When they opened their eyes again, the light had disappeared, and the transmission of ordination was over.

Zhang Zhiwei took a deep breath to calm himself. Seeing that Master Henglin was still regulating his breathing, he did not disturb him. Instead, he walked up to Jie Kong and said:

"Little monk, let me ask you a question. What is the relationship between Sakyamuni and Mahavairocana?"
