Chapter 94 Warning
"Are you crazy!" Noah snatched the laser spear and hissed at Hers again.

He somewhat regretted not having risked everything to snatch the laser spear from the other person, which had actually led him to attack the freshman.

The freshmen were unaware of this, but they were clear about the rules when they were recruited by the school to take on this task.

Regardless of whether they violated the original intention of the mission, the other party's behavior is tantamount to disobeying orders from superiors in person.

Their homeroom teacher, Manolin, is not the delicate and sweet girl she appears to be; she's a devil with an extreme contrast to her personality.

What the other side hates most is people who don't obey orders. When they first came under this homeroom teacher's guidance, those students who looked down on her because of her appearance were later thoroughly punished, practically begging for mercy and crying their eyes out. Of course, Teacher Manolin wouldn't actually let them cling to her; if they dared to beg, the outcome would be even worse.

He Si was one of the class teacher's favorites. He was always hardworking, humble, and obedient. No matter how difficult the task assigned by the class teacher, he would complete it with great cooperation. So why did he mess up like this this time?

Don't think the class advisor is unaware of their execution. Their actions will eventually be transmitted back to the observation center as 3D images, and Class Advisor Manolin has probably already seen them.

Good heavens, he's right next door to this guy, won't he get punished too?! Knowing our homeroom teacher's personality, that's quite possible.

Sure enough, the group of freshmen hadn't been gone long when the dozen or so men who had been lying in ambush behind the boulder as marksmen were gathered together by their leader. The leader looked very displeased.

"What's wrong with you guys? Not only is your operation chaotic, but you've also caused such a commotion. You've wasted a whole year's worth of shooting practice. Do you even realize that with your level of skill, if you went to the battlefield, you'd be surrounded and wiped out before you could even shoot down the enemy? You wouldn't even know how you died."

“I’ve told you before that shooting is about blending into the environment, even your mind, body, and respiratory system must blend into the surrounding ecosystem. The moment you fire, there should be no extra sound; you need to control the movement to an extremely small, almost nonexistent state so that you have a chance to hit the enemy with one shot.”

"Do you really think that the enemy on the battlefield is the same as the targets evolved from those machines in the simulation training room? Or that they have as many flaws as these completely untrained freshmen?"

"You! Yes, I'm talking to you, Child. Don't act like it's none of your business. What was with that nonchalant look you were giving me while I was shooting? Did you not want to do this mission? If not, then don't go next time. Give the opportunity to other students. There are plenty of people who want to go."

"And you! This is the first time I've ever seen someone as stupid as you. Everyone else is shooting at their targets, what are you doing? Shooting your own people? If you had been even an inch off target, you would have shot down your comrade opposite you too. That example could be posted on the school's website, making you the laughingstock of the entire grade."

"You too, Li, don't try to pretend you're not one of us. You only target the easiest people during missions, right? If these mission points are so easy to get, why don't you teach your classmates and give them some too, so they don't end up with negative points all year round?"

The instructor called out almost all of the dozen or so people by name, berated them mercilessly, and left them all too ashamed to lift their heads.

Noah was also reprimanded for chatting with his companions at such a serious and crucial moment, completely disregarding the mission. He was also specifically criticized for some mistakes or unreasonable maneuvers during shooting, leaving him feeling ashamed. But at that moment, he was even more sweating profusely than those around him.

Instructor Luo was always like that; he was intolerant of any flaws, treated every student equally, and was incredibly strict. Few could earn a decent evaluation from him. But he genuinely cared about guiding the students, rather than nitpicking. They had all grown accustomed to his sharp tongue but kind heart.

But he called out the names of more than a dozen people in a row, and remembered each person's name clearly. He even pointed out the mistakes they made during the shooting process, some of which the people involved may not have even noticed.

Therefore, he could never have forgotten someone as grown up as He Si. Besides, He Si was considered one of the top students in their grade, and the instructors all knew him; there was no way they could have forgotten him.

The other party left He Si for last, could it be a special arrangement...?

His premonition proved correct. Instructor Luo said to the boy who stood with his eyes downcast, "He Si, you have really disappointed me."

Ignoring the boy's sudden change in expression, Instructor Luo said in a deep voice, "Ask yourself honestly whether you took this mission seriously. I explained everything to you before you left the team. Everyone remembered it clearly. Even if you didn't operate perfectly, you at least knew to obey orders. But what about you? What were you doing?"

To act unilaterally solely out of personal desire is a major taboo in the military.

"You have committed two offenses. First, you disobeyed your superior's orders, and second, you disregarded the consequences and injured your classmate. I don't need to say more; Captain Manolin is probably already aware of your actions. I am not your class advisor, so I cannot overstep my bounds. Go back and await your punishment."

Instructor Luo's words weren't harsh, but they carried a different meaning, causing the dozen or so students present to change their expressions drastically.

Everyone knows who this Instructor Luo is. He's arguably the most mentoring and guiding officer in the grade, regardless of which class or grade they're from, or whether they're his students... anyone willing to learn and sincerely ask for guidance can receive his instruction. For such a person to say something so harsh as "disappointed" to He Si shows he's genuinely angry.

Moreover, since he mentioned punishment, it's definitely not just ordinary criticism and punishment, nor is it simply a matter of deducting points.

Upon hearing the possible punishment he might face, the boy didn't even flinch. He simply stood silently with his eyes lowered, and finally took off his hat and gave a military salute, indicating that he accepted the outcome.

Knowing the man's stubbornness and perhaps even being possessed, the officer had no intention of continuing the reprimand. He sighed inwardly and went on to give instructions to the others. Then he led the group of people on the mission out of the training ground.

Meanwhile, at a temporary rest stop a few miles away, Jiang Hui, who should have been unconscious, suddenly jolted awake in his mental space.
