Chapter 428 Three Faces
Of course, adults don't easily bring their conflicts into the open.

The children below knew that the two didn't get along, but they had only heard about it and few had actually seen the two of them arguing.

Upon entering the classroom, the group went straight to the front of the large lecture hall. Although it wasn't time for class yet, everyone below instinctively lowered their voices.

The classroom was quite large, and this wasn't a regular class in the conventional sense; it was just a warm-up class to familiarize everyone with the material, so there weren't any special arrangements. Students sat down wherever they felt comfortable, and the teachers found suitable spots to wait for class to begin.

However, such occasions still reflect a certain group dynamic. If someone observes closely, they will notice that students from different classes mostly sit together, with those who know each other sitting even closer. Of course, there are also some mixed-gender seating arrangements, but not many.

The three teachers each stood facing their own students' "teams".

Jiang Hui asked in a low voice, "Hillman, would you like to move over a bit?"

Because it wasn't apparent before, everyone sat down randomly without any specific seating arrangement. But when the class teachers arrived, the situation immediately became clear.

Hillman was clearly one of the few who shared a seat with others, and he was also the only guy from Class 1 to sit in Class 2's territory.

Moreover, he sat on both sides of the aisle, sandwiched between Class 1 and Class 2, making him extremely conspicuous.

Jiang Hui was worried that her friend's actions would cause dissatisfaction among her classmates, and reminded her after noticing that many people were looking over.

To everyone's surprise, the person involved didn't seem to care at all: "No need, it's just a class, it's not a big deal. Besides, wouldn't I be more conspicuous if I walked away now?"

Jiang Hui glanced to the other side and found that the seating arrangement in Class One was quite interesting. They really had a clear hierarchy. Students like Holly, who clearly had a strong presence, sat in the first two rows, all far apart and with relaxed postures. If you didn't know better, you would think they were some important figures attending the class.

Then, about two rows behind them, another small group of students sat down. Most of them had notebooks or similar items in front of them, and they sat upright, not too far apart. There were also a few in twos and threes, occasionally having quiet and restrained conversations.

The students behind them sat even more sparsely, each one farther away than the last. Some even occupied an entire row by themselves, while others sat in twos or threes in the last few rows. Jiang Hui even saw someone lying down in the back, looking nothing like someone who was there for class; it was truly outrageous.

On the other hand, in Class Two, the students were also diverse, but their distribution was quite even. They sat in all sorts of places, without any obvious stratification. There were even students from Class Three mixed in on the right side at the back, seemingly having met exchange students there and sitting together.

As for Class 3... she couldn't understand the seating arrangement there. It was as if the positions had been measured out, with each person spaced evenly. And some seats were empty, but no one seemed to remember to fill them. Jiang Hui seriously suspected that these empty seats might be reserved for students who had somehow managed to get into Class 1 or Class 2.

Three classes, three different styles; a glimpse into the whole picture gives a general idea of the atmosphere within each class.

Of course, students have different ways of doing things, and teachers also have different personalities.

Since it was a warm-up class, there shouldn't have been any formal lessons scheduled for today. Although the teacher was wearing his usual military uniform, he no longer looked as stiff and ready to fight as before; he seemed a bit more relaxed. Captain Zou Yi from Class One, whether always or just this time, pulled up a chair and sat down with an air of nonchalance, as if he were just there to watch the show.

Stark, as always, stood upright with a serious face at the front of the stage, looking at the students below.

Captain Lin Qi of Class 3 was even more outrageous. Somehow, he simply sat down among the students and completely blended in with them. Judging from their harmonious teacher-student relationship, they clearly spent a lot of time interacting like this.

"Jingle Bell……"

"Ring ring..."

The bell rang for class, and this strange liveliness was only temporary. In the blink of an eye, the teachers who had just been in the same room with them in a strangely relaxed manner suddenly stood solemnly in front of the stage.

The school made quite a meticulous arrangement, directly setting up three lecterns, all in the same height and front-back shape, in a three-dimensional circular pattern. The three sides behind the students projected the shadows of the three students, instantly changing the atmosphere and attracting the attention of all the students in the large classroom.

Jiang Hui had thought it would be strange for three teachers to be talking together, but actually there wasn't anything particularly different; it was just that there were two different perspectives. And people's eyes naturally follow those they are familiar with. Apart from the sound being a bit chaotic and the commotion a bit loud, it didn't feel much different from their usual classes.

The three of them, as per protocol, discussed matters concerning the upcoming integrated curriculum and the reasons for organizing this warm-up lesson. It felt like the lessons were all prepared in advance by the school, with the homeroom teacher simply reading from the textbook. The only difference was probably the tone and intonation of the speakers.

This reveals the style of these three class teachers.

For example, Zou Yi from Class 1 speaks leisurely, with a drawn-out and slightly high-pitched tone. Even his speech is as arrogant and flamboyant as he is, even somewhat conceited. Yet, he is so confident and energetic that his assertiveness is eye-catching.

Stark gives off a completely different vibe. His tone is unhurried and deliberate; he rarely makes absolute statements, and when he does, they are firm and decisive. His wording is firm, and his attitude is rather cold, making him difficult to approach. There's absolutely no room for negotiation; it's either yes or no, and he exudes authority.

Listening to him speak sometimes feels like listening to an official document; he's incredibly composed.

So Jiang Hui and the others often listened to Stark's words, and then were suddenly drawn to the sound of something being hoisted up next door, only to be brought back by their own class teacher's powerful voice, which was quite interesting.

If someone were to spare a moment to pay attention to Lin Qi, the homeroom teacher of Class 3 next door, they would find that his way of speaking is also quite peculiar.

He was neither as steady as Stark nor as forceful as Zou Yi. He was more like a pot of lukewarm water, neither too hot nor too cold, with a unique tone that carried an ancient charm rarely seen in interstellar space.

Moreover, he seemed quite accustomed to involving students in his conversations. Even during routine lectures, he would insert questions to engage the listeners, eliciting nods from the students below.
