Chapter 111 Hell
Thinking of this, Wu Xiaoxie quickly checked the birth date on the ID card. When he saw the numbers, his heart sank. The birth date on the ID card was exactly the same as Lao Yang's.

If this skeleton is Lao Yang, then who is the person outside the crevice?
Wu Xiaoxie felt a chill run down his spine. Looking down, he was horrified by the eager expression on Lao Yang's face, who was squeezed into the gap, wanting to come in.

He recalled the unknown monster he had seen outside the tree hole passage at the altar, which could transform into a wooden fish to deceive people. Could it be that the monster that ran out of this ancient tomb three years ago was Lao Yang in disguise?

What the hell!

Wu Xiaoxie's neck stiffened with fear. No wonder his childhood friend Lao Yang had become so cunning and treacherous, making him seem increasingly unfamiliar.

That's not right. If it really was that monster, how could it have stayed peacefully in a human prison for three years?

So what exactly is going on? Is that old itch outside a manifestation of the old itch's obsession after his death, combined with the strange abilities of the bronze tree?
Could it be that we really saw a ghost in broad daylight?
Wu Xiaoxie's mind was a complete mess. He subconsciously stepped back, groping in his hand to pick up a piece of broken stone and clutching it tightly.

Lao Yang paused, as if realizing something. His expression froze for a moment. He craned his neck, his pale face appearing eerie in the flashlight beam. He said expressionlessly, "Why are you looking at me like that?"

Oh no! Wu Xiaoxie's heart skipped a beat. In a daze, he felt that the old, itchy neck in the crevice seemed to be getting longer and longer, twisting and turning like a snake as it stretched in.

Startled, Wu Xiaoxie screamed and instinctively threw the stone in his hand. It hit Lao Yang on the forehead with a thud, and blood flowed down his forehead, from between his eyes, down his nose, and to Lao Yang's mouth. Lao Yang stuck out his tongue and licked it, then suddenly laughed, making him look even more like a vengeful ghost that was about to take someone's life.

Wu Xiaoxie trembled violently, his mind went blank, and he watched helplessly as Lao Yang withdrew from the crevice and lay down on the ground. He felt Lao Yang's body twist and writhe like a snake, crawling in little by little from the widest part of the crevice.

Oh no! That monster that turned into Lao Yang is going to eat me! This was the only thought in Wu Xiaoxie's mind at that moment. He picked up the rubble with both hands and threw it at the crack, just trying to stop the monster's actions and buy it a little while longer.

Perhaps God couldn't bear to see such a young life wither away. The crack above Lao Yang's head suddenly cracked with a snapping sound. Lao Yang's crawling motion stopped, and he quickly retreated as he sensed the danger.

Unfortunately, it was too late. A boulder half the height of a person fell down and hit Lao Yang's left arm, which he couldn't pull back in time. A scream was heard, and the finger that was exposed under the boulder twitched a few times before going still.

Wu Xiaoxie was stunned for a moment, then surprised and a little annoyed. Why didn't the rock hit the monster's head directly when it fell?

Wu Xiaoxie thought the monster would back down after this attack, but he heard a rustling sound coming from the side blocked by the boulder, and then the light from his flashlight shone in from the gap above that wasn't blocked.

"Wu Xie," the monster called out softly.

Wu Xiaoxie jumped in surprise, then burst out cursing, "Pah! You sneaky little devil, don't you dare use my childhood friend Lao Yang's voice again! If you've got the guts, show your true form and let's have a good fight!"

The monster was now trapped behind the boulder, and with one arm missing, Wu Xiaoxie's fear lessened, and he spoke with renewed confidence.
