Chapter 890 The Strange Skeleton!
"Our magical carrier pigeons have limited speed; they won't receive the message for at least a day!" Knight Commander Lavian said with some worry. The skeletons enveloped in the dragon's breath struggled briefly before quickly becoming still, never to rise again in the middle of the night! However, most skeletons, even after being shattered, would rise again! This forced the entire battle line to retreat! After all, battle reports can be deceiving, but battle lines cannot!

"Bang!" When Mogus had lost count of how many times he had chopped the pile of bones, he carefully protected the others while keeping an eye on the bones out of the corner of his eye. Finally! The pile of bones never rose again!
"By the Dragon God! I have finally slain them!" Mogus exclaimed excitedly, after all, his sword was almost dulled from all the fighting! These skeletons had finally suffered some casualties!

"Use long-handled weapons! Repel the enemy!" Because there were many Swift Infantry, Mogus had to use them even if he had to hold his nose! Squads of Swift Infantry skillfully used their chevaux-de-frise to hold back the charging skeletons. The sharp chevaux-de-frise were like steel spears, turning anyone who bumped into them into a sieve.
