Chapter 747 Dying as a Human!

"Heh! You killed my people! You destroyed my kingdom! You desecrated my soul! Now you want to leave? Too late!" Sernar's voice was sinister and chilling. This once sunny and cheerful person now spoke as if he were a traveler returning from the abyss.

"I have seen hell! I come from the abyss!" Sernar revealed a ferocious smile and swung the holy sword once more.

……

"Cough cough! Weiss!" Caslo groaned with his eyes closed.

"Slap!" A crisp slap sounded.

"Stop barking like a dog! Do you know you almost died? Do you want my sister to be a widow for you? You bastard!" Dos Anthony slapped Caslo across the face, waking him up.

“Ahem! Doss? Where’s Weiss?” Caslo grabbed Doss Anthony’s hand.

"I'm going to find your father!" Dos Anthony angrily shook off Caslow's hand and left.

"Hehehe!" A silly laugh came from the side. Caslo looked in the direction of the sound and saw that it was that bastard Renault laughing happily.

"Hey! Tuck your chin in, you're drooling!" Caslo rubbed his swollen face, thinking to himself that this bastard had a really strong grip.

"Where is my disciple?" Caslow's heart sank. He had prepared for the worst, but this time he had truly miscalculated. He had been a hunter all day, but today the goose had pecked his eye. Just as he had said, prejudice and arrogance had ruined humanity.

“They’re not dead. At least they were alive before we left, but we’re not sure now!” Renault shook his head.

"?" Caslo was taken aback. Was there some plot he didn't know about? Like a paid VIP story?

"Yeah, it's pretty magical! Let me tell you! The Ringwraiths have betrayed us! The Third Ring's Sernar was almost caught and killed by Uvasa!" Renault said mysteriously.

"What? Why don't you say Roland planted spies in Mordor?" Caslow scoffed.

"Holy crap! You're so smart! How did you know that?!" Renault gave him a thumbs up.

"What exactly happened after I fell into a coma?" Caslo was confused. He was completely baffled by the Ringwraiths' betrayal and Cernar's defection.

……

"Ding-dong! A major shift in history has occurred! The Third Ringwraith, Sernar, has defected! He is now allied with the Kingdom of Lagrange!" Roland of Stream City stared at the message panel that suddenly popped up from the system and fell into deep thought. So... what exactly did you do? Roland stood up, walked to the window, and looked south, lost in thought.

"Send word to General Ajax! Tell her to go to Lulong Fortress immediately to support General Caslo and the others!" Roland thought for a moment and waved to the guard beside him.

……

"Senar! You madman! Are you out of your mind?!" Uvasa, enraged by Senar's attack, cursed wildly. So what if he can seal space? Does that justify attacking him like that? And he's even using military strategy? Attacking the enemy forces them to defend? Knowing he can't just stand by and watch Khammur get riddled with holes, he's been using Khammur as bait?

"I am a dead man!" Cernal sneered and continued to chase after Uvasa, hacking at him.

"Disgusting scum! How dare you ignore me?" Lydalias was deeply hurt. Sernar didn't even give him a second glance! He was a Ringwraith, after all! Why did he dodge Uvasa and Khammur's attacks, but just take his battle axe head-on? Did he really think he couldn't hurt him? Okay... he really couldn't hurt him.

"Get lost!" A holy sword strike sent Lydalias rolling on the ground. Sernar didn't even glance at him. He was just a trash punching bag; he could be crushed and torn to pieces whenever he wanted. What was there to care about? But ignoring Uvasa, that slippery eel, would be a huge loss.

"This is outrageous!" Uvasa, whose attempt to jump through space failed once again due to the spatial blockade, instantly turned red. The soul fire in his eyes flickered wildly, and the massive war clouds were twisted into a tornado, rolling into his body.

"I'm going to kill you!" The magic ring on Uvasa's hand gleamed with an eerie light.

"..." Cernal shook his head slightly. This guy's life is just like this. He's destined to fail because he can't keep his composure. The weak don't even have a chance to fight.

"Scum! How dare you ignore me! I'll tear you to pieces!" Seeing Uvasa about to fight to the death, Lydalias also unleashed the power of his Ring without reservation. Crimson battle aura swirled around him, making him appear eerie and terrifying. He raised his battle axe and roared. "..." Khamur glanced at Uvasa, his soul fire flickered, and then he too activated the power of the Ring.

The three terrifying pressures caused the creatures in the forest to flee in panic. The terrifying aura of the superior beings made them run for their lives, including many sub-dragons such as earth dragons.

“Sacrifice!” Sernar laughed freely. Faced with three Ringwraiths who wanted to fight with all their might, Sernar chose to grant their wish. After all, if they didn’t act now, they would have no chance!
"..." The Ringwraiths froze. They were fighting desperately, but this guy was going all out! He casually sacrificed himself? The Ringwraiths couldn't understand why knights these days were so reckless. The skill of mutual destruction felt like a regular skill to them.

As Cernar activated his sacrifice, his entire body began to burn, even his physical form became ethereal. The blazing power of his soul illuminated the sky, and an aura more terrifying than that of the Ringwraiths swept across the entire Darkwood.

……

"Sacrifice? Such terrifying pressure? Who is it?" Renault and his group in the Lulong Fortress on the opposite bank were the first to sense this aura. The majestic yet tragic pressure undoubtedly indicated a sacrifice!
"What happened?" Peter Groh, who had been sleeping, slowly opened his eyes. The Star Barrier was his eye, and as the barrier sensed that aura, Peter Groh was also awakened.

"Whose demigod has fallen?" asked Star Dragon Gais in confusion.

“I’ll send the rangers to scout ahead!” Peter Gros shook his head.

……

"You have no chance of winning!" Lydalias roared and swung his battle axe to attack first, but was sent flying by a single sword strike from Sernar.

"Agh!" A shrill scream rang out as Lydalias, engulfed in holy flames, howled in agony.

"If we don't fight with all our might... we'll die!" Sernar raised his head, his eyes devoid of any warmth.

"Kill!" Uvasa and Kehamur exchanged a glance and roared as they charged toward Sernar.

"Whoosh!" A raging holy flame enveloped Sernar as he stood ready for the Ringwraiths.

"Whoosh!" The void suddenly shattered, and a spatial gate instantly opened behind Lydalias, who was still wailing. Uvasa flashed in front of Lydalias and kicked him, who was still suppressing his holy flames, into the gate. Then, he grabbed Khamur and crawled inside.

"You're courting death!" Sernar's usually calm voice suddenly rose eight octaves, and his terrifying soul power transformed into a longsword that slashed into the void. He never expected that after all the Ringwraiths' pretense, only Lydalias was honest; Uvasa and Khammur had already been thinking about how to escape.

"Ah~" A shrill scream came from the void. Sernar frowned as he stared at the left arm that fell from the void, not knowing whether it belonged to Uvasa or Khammur.

"Tsk!" Cernal frowned. He wasn't good at spatial tracking, and now he was having trouble locating where the three of them had gone.

"Is it worth it?" a gentle voice asked.

“You? It’s you!” The azure soul flame in Sernar’s eyes flickered.

"Is it worth it?" The person speaking stood in the sunlight, with his back to the sun so that no one could see his face clearly.

“There’s no question of whether it was worth it or not. The moment the One Ring crumbled, I was destined to be a wandering ghost. At least now… I can die as a human!” Cernar laughed heartily, showing no trace of regret.

"Sigh..." The man sighed, turned around, and stepped into the void. The space rippled like water before falling silent.

"My time is running out! The future belongs to you! Thank goodness I can die as a hero, not a puppet of the Ring!" Cernar stretched out his hand, looked at his soul which was beginning to dim, sheathed the Holy Sword back in his back, and then vanished in a flash.

……

"Huff, huff, huff!" Weiss gasped for breath, still shaken as he recalled the scene that had just unfolded.

“Hey! Kid!” Cernar’s voice rang out behind him.
