Chapter 329 The Great Forbidden Spell - Flame-Sweeping Space

Chapter 329 The Great Forbidden Spell - Flame-Sweeping Space

Ajax and Caslo exchanged a glance and began chanting simultaneously. After all, a fifth-tier dragon knight was only just entering the threshold of using forbidden spells. A long chanting "cast" was a necessary prerequisite for activating a forbidden spell. Only a sixth-tier dragon knight could wield forbidden spells at will, and even more powerful sixth-tier peak professionals could cast forbidden spells instantly! Demigods could even use great forbidden spells as normal attacks.

"Ancient wind spirit, heed my command!"

"Ancient fire spirit, heed my command!"

"A vow made with the gentle breeze..."

"In the name of the rising sun..."

I listen to your whispers!

"I feel your passion!"

"Feeling the swaying of the strong grass, and witnessing the collapse of the rock, the ancient wind's whispers resound throughout heaven and earth!"

"Behold the brilliance of the flames, witness the sparks ignite a prairie fire, the ancient song of fire travels on the wind!"

"In the name of Storm Dragon Knight, I command the storm to follow!"

"In the name of the Blazing Dragon Knight, I command the flames to engulf us!"

"Forbidden spell!" Caslo and Ajax shouted in unison.

"The storm has broken its wings!"

"Blazing Wings Spread Across the Plains!"

As the two roared and chanted the name of the forbidden spell in dragon language, the wind and fire elements gathering in the sky instantly converged on them as if they had found their backbone, pouring into their bodies and their dragon mounts. Then, a forbidden spell array engraved with endless obscure inscriptions condensed in front of them. This was the sign that the forbidden spell had taken shape, and also the beginning of the slaughter.

……

"What is that? Such a horrible aura!"

"Something's wrong! I can smell death!"

"That fluctuation..."

Even the orcs sensed something was wrong. They stopped their pursuit and stared blankly at the two converging elemental storms in the sky. Even the most mindless orcs felt that something was amiss. The oppressive aura that permeated their hearts gave everyone the illusion that the end of the world was approaching!

However, that was not an illusion. As elemental power mixed with dragon power surged into the forbidden spell array, the entire array instantly lit up. An obscure fluctuation emanated from it and spread rapidly in all directions, reminding everyone that the forbidden spell was about to erupt. This was the forbidden spell's final mercy!

"Boom!" A massive elemental force suddenly erupted and then spread rapidly. This was because wind and fire forbidden spells were almost all large-scale forbidden spells, which were practically a massacre against low-level cluster targets.

"Forbidden spell!" Lord's eyes widened in fury.

"Run!" Love grabbed the dire wolf he was riding and galloped away.

"Aaaaaah!" One of the orcs was so frightened by the terrifying pressure that he went insane. His mouth was crooked, his eyes were slanted, and he was drooling. He just stood there, groaning and moaning.

"Run! Run as many as you can! Run!" a half-orc lord roared in anguish, knowing that even if they escaped, not many would be left.

……

"Has it started?" Omske murmured, turning his head to look at the terrifying elemental vortex in the sky.

"Let's go! Your Majesty!" Ravian shouted, trying to dissuade him, as being under the forbidden spell was extremely dangerous. "What's there to worry about? The range of the forbidden spell isn't that terrifying; we're already outside its range!" Omske said, lifting his helmet.

"It's still dangerous. We'd better stay away. After all, the power of forbidden spells depends on luck!" Ravian wanted to persuade him further.

"You and the others should leave first. I need to stay here and take a look! After all, forbidden spells don't pose much of a threat to me!" Omsk said arrogantly, since for heroes, there was basically no threat unless they took the forbidden spell head-on.

"..." Seeing that Omske was determined to stay, like a turtle that had swallowed a weight, Lavian could only shake his head helplessly and leave.

……

“Huh? Ajax, something feels off to me,” Renoir said to his knight, Ajax.

"What's wrong?" Ajax asked, puzzled.

At this moment, the forbidden spell has been unleashed. Starting from the point where the forbidden spell landed, the entire earth began to collapse, and the wind and fire elements swirled and erupted wildly.

"This power is wrong!" Renoir said, somewhat puzzled.

"Kardo, you're saying the power is wrong?" Caslo stared blankly at his dragon mount.

"What's going on?" Ajax and Caslo looked at each other, completely bewildered. After all, this was the first time they had used a forbidden spell, and they couldn't really tell what was wrong. In their opinion, it was already quite an achievement that they could even cast a forbidden spell.

"Isn't this a bit too powerful?" Renoir asked uncertainly.

"Yes! Is the forbidden spell really that powerful?" Kaldo looked down at the forbidden spell that was erupting, puzzled.

"Wait!" Kaldor's enormous dragon eyes narrowed.

"Renoir, are you sure you're a fire dragon?" Kaldo turned his head as if he had seen a ghost, staring at Renoir not far away.

"What's wrong?" Renoir followed Kaldor's gaze and saw that the space was faintly collapsing amidst the forbidden spell that was erupting and spreading in the distance.

"Spatial energy?" Renoir was shocked. He looked at Kaldor with suspicion. He was certain that he was a pure-blooded fire dragon, so Kaldor... was he a silver dragon who had cheated on his wife or a wind dragon who had broken up with his partner?

"Damn it! Boost!" Kaldor's eyes narrowed and his dragon face changed drastically. He flapped his wings and soared into the sky!

"What's wrong!" Renoir followed Kaldor with lingering fear, looking down at the distorted space and the raging wind and fire elements.

"We've created a forbidden spell—Flame Blowing Space!" Kaldor exclaimed incredulously, staring at the orcs below engulfed by elements.

"A forbidden spell? We don't seem to have the ability to cast a forbidden spell, do we?" Renoir asked doubtfully.

"The Great Forbidden Spell Flame Brush Space is essentially a three-element forbidden spell of fire, wind, and space! However, our forbidden spell distorts space and generates spatial power after the fusion of wind and fire, so..." Kaldo stared at the others in disbelief. By accident, they had released a Great Forbidden Spell that only adult dragons could cast. The most crucial thing was... the Great Forbidden Spell was a terrifying attack that could even injure gods!
"Damn it! Our people!" Caslo's expression changed. He had initially been relieved that he could wipe out the orcs without even having to clean up, but then he thought about the terrifying range of the forbidden spell... it seemed like his kingdom's soldiers were also within that range...

……

"How spectacular! No wonder it's a forbidden spell!" Omske exclaimed, standing outside the range of the forbidden spell's attack as he admired the magnificent scene. The two forbidden spells were as dazzling as giant fireworks, bringing a blinding death!

"Hmm? This aura...tsk tsk tsk!" Omske frowned. He sensed that something was off about the energy erupting from the forbidden spell, but he couldn't quite put his finger on it.

"Boom!" The suddenly expanding forbidden spell swept outwards.

"Holy crap! A forbidden spell! Kaslo, are you guys trying to die?!" Omske yanked the reins, raised his lance, and slammed it into his horse's rump. At that moment, he wished he could grow four legs and run alongside his Abyss Warhorse. This was a forbidden spell! An attack that could kill even a sixth-tier warrior with a single hit!
"Giddy up!" Omske spurred his horse on at full gallop, finally finding the source of the strange energy... It was a damn forbidden spell!
