Chapter 188 Dragon Skeleton
"Let's go in and take a look!" Roland instructed the group.

"Boom!" The heavy steel door was pushed open by several people working together, and the huge door hinges made an extremely ear-piercing friction sound.

“We should dig another moat here!” Roland pointed to the ground beneath his feet. Indeed, if a moat surrounded the fortress, the entire fortress would be even more impregnable.

“We don’t have enough manpower to handle such a project,” Renault sighed.

"Sigh..." Roland sighed helplessly. Indeed, he could only give up this unrealistic idea now.

Dragon Tower: 10 Wealth Points. A large-scale anti-air and anti-ground weapon powerful enough to make dragons bow their heads and their hordes detour! (Even better when used with Magic Arrows!)
Heavy Dragon Hunting Tower: 2 Wealth Points. Extremely effective against dragons! (Even more powerful when using special arrows such as Black Arrows!)
Medium-sized Dragon Hunting Tower: 1 Wealth Points. Can deal fatal damage to most dragons! (Can be enhanced with special arrows such as Black Arrows!)
Light Dragon Slayer Tower: 5000 Wealth Points. Effectively repels dragons and hinders dragon attacks; excellent value for money! (When used with special arrows such as Black Arrows, there is a chance to inflict fatal damage on flying dragons!)
Advanced Arrow Tower/Bow Tower: 5000 Wealth Points. Wider field of vision, stronger defense, and considerable anti-air capability! (Archer units stationed here will receive enhanced vision, range, and damage!)
Intermediate Arrow Tower/Bow Tower: 3000 Wealth Points. Offers decent vision, barely adequate defense, and average anti-air capabilities! (Archer units stationed here will receive enhanced vision and range!)
Basic Arrow Tower/Bow Tower: 1000 Wealth Points. Improves vision range, low defense, allows anti-air fire! (Archer units placed inside receive increased vision range!)
Pitfall: 10 Wealth Points. A cost-effective defensive structure that can be reused; no ground unit can withstand its steel spikes! (Units that step onto it will fall in and be impaled by the spikes!)
Catapult Trap: 1 Wealth Point. No one should underestimate these tiny gadgets, barely a square meter in size. They easily launch units that step on them, making them a nightmare for enemy formations during sieges. Reusable! (Easily breaks enemy formations, creating counter-attack opportunities!)
Concealed Crossbow: 1 Wealth Point. Can be hidden among the bricks of a city wall. Upon detonation, it rapidly fires 10 steel crossbow bolts forward! It holds 100 bolts and has a 5-minute reload time! (To make these unpredictable little gadgets effective, you need to regularly check their ammunition levels!)
Heavy City Defense Crossbow: 1 Wealth Points. A nightmare for siege attackers, it's also effective against low-flying aerial units. Paired with various special crossbows, it's enough to shatter any siege weapon! (Even dragon knights wouldn't want to take a hit.)
Roland knew about this thing; after all, there were 12 of them set up in Swiftstream City, made from the dragon tendons given by the system's daily check-in rewards.

Medium-sized City Defense Crossbow: 5000 Wealth Points. A heavy unit killer, capable of threatening most low-flying air knights. It can eliminate various heavily armored units using different crossbows and has a chance to damage siege engines! (Knights will avoid it!)
Light City Defense Crossbow: 1000 Wealth Points. An infantry killer, capable of shooting low-flying units; no light infantryman wants to face this guy! (Want some human flesh skewers? The kind with three on a skewer?)
Sword Chariot: 500 Wealth Points. A defensive siege weapon inlaid with a hundred sharp, double-edged steel swords, capable of blocking city gates! (Hey! Don't think you're all set after breaching the gates; I'm still there for you!)
Arrow Smasher: 1000 Wealth Points. Can fire arrows into a designated airspace, clearing a circular area with a diameter of 10 meters. Arrows will damage surrounding units upon landing! (Stupid, right? Shots are ineffective!)
"Great stuff!" Roland's mouth watered instantly upon seeing this. Wasn't this the artifact the dwarves used in the movie to block the elves' rain of arrows? And it even had secondary impact damage upon landing!

Thousand-Blade Roller: 1000 Wealth Points. Drop it from the city wall to clear out enemies clinging to it! Reusable! (Scrub! Scrub!)...

The series of random, nonsensical items that followed left Roland speechless. A true warmonger! Not a single item was unrelated to war. Good heavens! It was truly born for war. Roland would bet his life that if Lulong Fortress were equipped with a fully equipped army of 100,000 and all its defensive structures completed, and assuming no logistical problems, Sauron leading the entire Dark Faction of Middle-earth to attack this thing would be crying their way back to Mordor.

However, Roland could only drool over it for now; he shouldn't reveal his pitiful wealth—it would be embarrassing. Besides, there was really no need to build so many defensive structures in the current situation, and even if he did, there wouldn't be enough soldiers to operate them. Look at the soldiers Roland brought: 100 Lagrange City Guards, a full 400 Battanian archers, and a total of 500 professional soldiers were barely able to operate 8 Meteorite Dragon Towers and barely manage to patrol around the city walls. The remaining hundred or so archery towers, standing in layers, were still idle. Under these circumstances, those defensive structures were completely useless.

"Your Highness, a messenger from Swiftstream City requests an audience!" a soldier suddenly reported.

"Send him to see me!" Roland leaned against the breastwork, gazing out of the city.

"Your Highness! This is a letter from Prince Nyx! Please take a look!" The visitor was a Knight of the Cross and Bauhinia, whose silver-white armor and pale purple cloak with white trim gave him an inexplicable sense of security.

"Let me see what's going on. Why would Nyx send a knight to deliver a message?" Roland curiously unwrapped the sealing wax.

"Your Highness, farmers in our northern fields have unearthed dragon scales. According to the sage Yunfeng's deduction, the remains of a silver dragon with spatial attributes may be buried below. We hope you will return soon!" Nix's delicate handwriting on the letter caught my eye.

"What's wrong, Your Highness?" Renault's expression changed, thinking that war was about to break out again.

"It's alright. There might be the remains of a silver dragon buried in our land. We need to go back. Dragon crystals with spatial attributes are priceless!" Roland exclaimed.

“Then I’ll give the soldiers some instructions, and then we’ll assemble the Knights and set off!” Renault said with a serious expression.

“Okay, go ahead!” Roland nodded and took the lead down the city walls to prepare the horses.
