Chapter 172 Dragon Breath Cleansing

Chapter 172 Dragon Breath Cleansing
"Die!" Peter Gro's dragon spear suddenly shot out, the three-zhang-long spear plunging straight into the stone slab...

"Boom!" The dragon power carried by the dragon spear exploded, and a vast underground hall appeared before everyone's eyes. However, most of the orcs were lying on the ground, their lives unknown. Only a small number of orcs stared in horror at the suddenly opened ceiling.

"Damn it! They're hiding in a place like this?" The dwarves stared angrily down below. Who would have thought that a large group of orcs were just a few meters beneath their feet?
"That's not the point!" After jumping down and clearing out the orcs below, Peter Groh returned with his weapon. What worried him now was how many of these dungeons there were. If there were many... then the orcs were fully capable of blocking their retreat. After all, the allied forces at each branch road numbered only about 800 men, and Roland's army consisted of only 351 Lagrange soldiers. Once those Ringwraiths entangled the sixth-tier and himself... Peter Groh didn't want to think about it anymore. Perhaps they could win, but how many soldiers could they leave behind? Even if they won, it would be a Pyrrhic victory.

"Stand still! Halt!" Peter Groh roared as he mounted the dragon's back. He was now looking back to see if there were any more of these damned hidden military chambers along the way!

"Bang!" A dragon claw carrying the power of stars descended from the sky, its forearm, several meters long, plunging straight into the earth. The shockwave sent surrounding stones flying, and the blue power of stars spread wildly! It was the Star Dragon skill—Dragon Star Fist!

“Got the bug!” Skye turned to Peter Gro with a ferocious grin. His sharp dragon claws had just pierced through some soft objects, which were undoubtedly the bodies of orcs!
"Roar!" With a clear and resounding dragon roar, Star Dragon Sige opened its claws wide, which were supporting it on the ground, and then suddenly exerted force with its other claw! Instantly, hundreds of square meters of stone were ripped apart by it, and hundreds of terrified orcs on the ground stared in disbelief at this scene that resembled the end of the world!
A figure clad in menacing blue armor descended, the battle aura emanating from his hand and spreading five meters away causing all the orcs to retreat involuntarily. This was the last thing the orcs saw… Three seconds later, a scene resembling a crime scene ravaged by a storm of blades appeared beneath the sky. All the orcs had been brutally dismembered, their limbs and other human parts scattered on the ground. Dark purple blood flooded the entire chamber, turning it into a still pond…

"Let's go! Find the next one!" Peter Gross said with a dark face. He knew that the allied forces had been tricked. Although it was a simple plan to lure the enemy in, everyone still couldn't help but fall for it. No, not everyone... it should only be the King and King Thranduil... Peter Gross felt very bitter.

“A blatant conspiracy! A perfectly legitimate conspiracy! Even knowing that this place is fraught with danger, the proud Elf King will never give up the chance for revenge and to reclaim the lost territory!” Peter Gro said bitterly to his dragon.

“We have no choice, this is his decision! We can only obey his will and fight until death!” Skye lowered his head. Having lived with the elves for thousands of years, he understood the pride etched into their very bones! These handsome elves possessed a pride no less than that of the dragons!
“We cannot lose these people!” Peter Gro’s mind was very clear. The death of these people was enough to wipe the Star Elves out of existence. Even if they were lucky enough to survive, they would not be able to recover to their current level for an entire era.

“So what? My friend, I will follow your arrangements!” Skye looked down at his contracted partner.

“Keep searching! At the very least, we can't let the orcs block our retreat!” Peter Gro said. Last time, the Star Elves escaped almost unscathed, which was lucky. Dolgodor wasn't as heavily guarded then, and the elves' surprise attack threw the orcs into disarray. Otherwise, if the Ringwraiths had attacked Iovia and shattered the Star Elves' fighting spirit, Dolgodor might have actually fallen in that battle. But now, Dolgodor is a tough nut to crack. Not to mention the Ringwraiths hiding in the shadows, even a large army of orcs lurking in the underground darkness would be enough to give the allied forces a run for their money! Peter Gro wasn't sure if the rest of the allied forces had discovered this, but he decided to inform everyone later. After all, those walls and buildings were practically useless to him.

……

"Is this the last one?" Peter Groh gasped for breath. He was already exhausted from killing so many. He was now certain that the Ringwraiths had tightened their defenses, and almost all the orcs were in the city of Dolgodor! There were at least 20,000 orcs in the city! Peter Groh had already dug out nearly 3,000 orcs along the way, not including those who had been lying in ambush earlier. That meant there were at least 4000 to 5000 orcs waiting for this small group of 800 to walk into their encirclement.

"Damn it! Let's go check out the others!" Peter Groh was disgusted by these orcs who only knew how to dig holes! Those basements were clearly not the work of the woodland elves; any intelligent race could recognize the crude work as the handiwork of orcs!
"Dragon God!" Skye exclaimed.

“What happened…” Peter Gro also saw what the Star Dragon was seeing through Skye’s shared vision… Countless orcs poured out from street corners or under overturned stone slabs, like streams flowing into the main road to form a rushing “river”, their target being the advancing coalition forces!
……

"These orcs are really good at hiding!" Verway looked helplessly at the wall he had violently destroyed. Behind the huge stone wall, several crooked orc corpses lay scattered on the ground.

"Sir, shall we continue?" the soldier reported to Verway after a fruitless search.

"Let's rest for a bit, we'll leave in 5 minutes!" Verway said, looking at the soldiers who were drenched in sweat.

"Thank you for your kindness," the soldiers said respectfully.

"No need for much... Holy crap!" Verway quickly put the new vocabulary he learned from Roland into practice.

"Enemy attack! Form a circle!" Verway cried out shrilly, then instantly sprang into the air and charged towards the orcs!
"Your opponent is me!" Lydalias suddenly appeared on his warhorse at the corner of the street.

"Damn it! Everyone, defend!" Verway stopped in his tracks, his face cold as he stared at Lydalias ahead. If he went to slaughter the orcs behind him, his own soldiers would undoubtedly be ambushed and killed by Lydalias!

While the two sides were locked in a stalemate, the allied forces in the rear had already clashed with the orcs. The dwarves formed a circle on the outermost layer, the elves raised their longbows and hurled them wildly into the sky, and the humans held their longswords against their shields, ready to block any gaps that might appear. In that instant, the three races coordinated with perfect harmony!
"Whoosh~" Suddenly, a magnificent blue columnar object swept across, instantly clearing a hundred-meter-long stretch of road. The hundreds of orcs who had been running wildly on it were also slowly annihilated by the dragon's breath...

"Peter Groh! Our dragon knight has arrived!" Verway's face lit up with joy. The dragon's breath from the sky was enough to make these poor orcs easy targets. Thinking of this, Verway pounced without hesitation and launched a frenzied attack on Lydalias.

Peter Groh, who had interrupted the orcs blocking Valve's path with dragon breath, showed no joy. He quickly manipulated Skye to breathe several breaths of dragon breath onto the buildings where the orcs had taken refuge, and then immediately pulled up Star Dragon, knowing that the situation of the others was not optimistic either.
