Arcane Journey

Chapter 514 Demon Fangs

Brian had already guessed the ending of the spider wizard.

But what can he do?
Not only was he unable to prevent the tragedy from happening, he couldn't even accomplish anything he came here for.

"For now, I can only try to contact the chief wizard Haizhuofu, hoping to get something good from him. Otherwise, this path may not work." Brian thought to himself as he walked.

Before he knew it, he had arrived at the place he had agreed to meet with the gray dwarf merchant Talacot - the famous inn in the ancient city of Orens: The Devil's Fang.

Brian stood on the spiral staircase, looking down at the myriad styles in the hotel.

The staircase seemed like a passage through time, leading him to this exotic underground world.

Inside the hotel, in stark contrast to the gloom outside, which was illuminated only by magical flames and glowing moss, warm light streamed from real lamps, illuminating every corner.

The light is soft and warm, as if it carries an intoxicating magic that makes people unconsciously intoxicated by it.

The customers here were completely different from the group of extremely wary faces Brian saw outside.

They either sat around the table or stood in the corner, and everyone's face was filled with a relaxed and happy smile.

Dozens of tables were placed in a disorderly manner around the high platform in the center, on which there was even a girl with skin as white as the moon dancing gracefully.

Her dance is light and seductive, and every movement seems to be telling an ancient story.

What surprised Brian was that her figure was similar to that of a drow woman, but with a touch of grace and softness.

There is no doubt that she is the "fairy" as the drow call her, or the so-called surface elf. It is hard to imagine how she survived in such an environment that hates surface elves.

The graceful figure and superb dancing skills of this female elf made every viewer fall in love with her.

On and off the stage, lights and dancing shadows intertwine to create a dreamlike atmosphere.

The guests tasted the fine wine and admired the elf girl's dance with greedy eyes.

In this environment full of mystery and temptation, everyone's heart seems to be deeply touched and immersed in this wonderful night.

Brian also noticed that around the elf girl, there were several halfling musicians sitting next to her, and the instruments in their hands played passionate and exciting melodies. The music was like a burning flame, warm and unrestrained, full of the magic of nature, and echoed the elegant temperament of the elf girl.

In the shadows in the south corner, a group of guests gathered together who had no interest in the elf girl on the stage. They were fully focused on various gambling games.

The sound of the dice rolling, the roulette wheel spinning, the darts cutting through the air and the echo of the hitting balls merge into a thrilling symphony.

The surrounding environment is filled with a complex and rich variety of smells and sounds.

The barmaids, dressed in costumes similar to the elf girls on the stage, moved lightly among the crowd, carrying trays full of drinks.

The lights danced on them, reflecting brilliant light.

All of this is reminiscent of nightclubs on Earth, full of energy and passion.

"Hey, Mr. Bryan, here! Here!"

The gray dwarf Talacot below noticed Brian on the platform, jumped up and down, stretched out his hand, and greeted him enthusiastically.

Brian smiled slightly, turned into an inconspicuous stream of light, and appeared in front of the gray dwarf. "I thought you wouldn't come, sir. If you don't come, you might miss a lot of wonderful experiences." The gray dwarf Talakot told him enthusiastically.

The two of them were walking and talking, and inadvertently passed by the elf dancer.

Her graceful figure danced to the music, like a goddess descending to the earth.

The elf girl was undoubtedly beautiful to Brian. Her face was like exquisite porcelain, her skin was like frost under the moonlight, and her eyes sparkled with the light of stars.

However, her beauty did not seem to have much appeal to the gray dwarf.

Tallacott ignored the elves' graceful dancing. He took Brian straight through the crowd, all the way to the bar counter, and threw out a dozen gold coins.

The crisp sound of gold coins hitting each other, like beautiful music, instantly broke the silence and awakened the drowsy bartender. He immediately jumped up from his stool and greeted these two special guests with renewed energy.

"Hey, isn't this old Tallacott? What would you like to order this time? Still the old-fashioned drow spider blood wine?" the bartender greeted enthusiastically.

Tallacot smiled and replied, "Oh, I won't choose that today. Give me two cups of demon blood brewed by the Demacia family. Remember it must be aged for a hundred years. I have to remind you that if I find a drop of water in the wine, I will smash your head."

He warned, only half jokingly.

The bartender laughed after hearing this, "Hey, don't worry, we at Devil Fang never add water to our drinks."

He took the gold and quickly told the halfling bartender to get it.

After a while, two cups of deep red devil's blood appeared in front of the two.

The unique and mellow aroma spreads instantly, intoxicating you.

Brian picked up the wine glass and took a sip. The aroma of the drink spread between his lips like a dancing butterfly, flowing along the tip of his tongue, sliding across his throat, and taking away all the fatigue of the world.

At that moment, he felt as if he was floating above the clouds, light as the wind and warm as the sunshine.

He did not deliberately suppress the subtle feeling brought by the wine, but closed his eyes and let the power flow through his body.

In a tipsy trance, he seemed to have crossed the boundary between reality and dreams, and found himself in a bottomless abyss of chaos and violence.

The demons danced wildly around him, their every movement and every look filled with primitive savagery and power.

Brian also felt as if he had become one of them, dancing wildly with this group of abyss demons and feeling the chaos and vitality of the abyss together.

The effect of this wine is so unique that Brian can't help but marvel at the magic of creation.

In this wonderful atmosphere, he seemed to see the true face of the devil's blood - it was a mysterious drink that combined ancient magic and the power of the abyss, and every drop contained endless energy and life.

After an unknown amount of time, Brian reluctantly opened his eyes.

He exhaled deeply and exclaimed: "This is indeed a first-class wine. It makes people feel as if they have really descended into the bottomless abyss and feel the true power of the devil's blood."

The gray dwarf heard his sigh and laughed: "It seems that you have already appreciated the charm of this demon blood. This is a fine wine brewed with the real blood of the abyss demon. Not everyone can taste it." (End of this chapter)
