Arcane Journey

Chapter 500: Arrogant Bald Man

Great annihilation field.

In the thick darkness, Brian was wearing a black cloak with the hood covering his face. Like a ghost in the dark night, he traveled alone in the intricate terrain of the Great Oblivion Field.

The darkness here was so deep that it seemed to swallow up all the light. Every step Brian took seemed like he was stepping on endless nothingness.

As he went deeper, a strange feeling began to come over him.

He seemed to be able to sense that there were countless pairs of eyes quietly spying on him in the darkness, like stars, twinkling cold light in the night.

These prying eyes were like cold needles that pierced Brian's skin, bringing him an uneasy feeling of being spied on.

However, Brian was not a newbie and was accustomed to this kind of danger.

When he subconsciously turned his head and tried to find those prying eyes, those eyes were like extinguished lights, disappearing into the darkness in an instant.

He knew that it was the mysterious power of the Great Annihilation Field that was causing him to have this illusion.

Brian didn't care too much about all this.

Relying on his own strong strength, he was not afraid and continued to move forward.

The dark tunnel became deeper and deeper, and everything was just as he had expected. No pair of eyes dared to show up and stop him, the intruder.

After a long and dark exploration, Brian walked for about half an hour and finally came to a corner at the end of the tunnel.

There, a strange structure came into view.

It looks like a perfect combination of modern technology and magic. An elevator device made of a metal frame and magic stands quietly, and everything around it reveals depth and mystery.

Brian found himself in a huge space similar to a deep well, with smooth walls and an out-of-reach top. The air around him seemed to be filled with an ancient and mysterious power.

If he wanted to reach the top, it seemed that he had no choice but to rely on the magic elevator in front of him.

A glimmer of wisdom flashed in Brian's eyes, and he quietly released a ray of reconnaissance magic, which flowed around the elevator like flowing water.

After confirming that there was nothing abnormal or dangerous in the elevator, he breathed a sigh of relief.

At this moment, he did not choose to use instant flash or flying to demonstrate his extraordinary abilities, but chose to keep his feet on the ground and step steadily into the elevator.

As he gently touched the magic button of the elevator, the entire elevator suddenly made a rumbling sound.

Along with the deafening sound, Brian felt the elevator begin to move upwards rapidly.

After just a few moments, the elevator reached the top of the shaft.

Brian walked out of the elevator and was amazed by the sight before him.

Here, fungi twinkle like stars, emitting a faint yet brilliant light.

Their existence is like the stars in nature. Although not as vast as the starry sky, they shine brightly in their own field.

These bizarrely shaped stalactite columns crisscross each other, like mysterious totems in ancient ruins, telling ancient secrets.

Some of them twist and circle, some soar into the sky, their various shapes are dazzling.

The air is filled with a moist soil scent, mixed with the fragrance of various plants and an unknown mysterious atmosphere. The dim and dazzling light shines on this mysterious space, making people feel as if they are in a fantastic and gorgeous dream.

As the light flows, every inch of space seems to come alive, beating to a unique rhythm.

This is a place where nature and fantasy intertwine, and everything seems so mysterious.

But when Brian looked through the Eye of Truth, he immediately discovered that it was not a mysterious natural phenomenon, but the effect created by numerous eye demons using their dog eyes that were like spotlights.

Thinking of the purpose of his visit, Brian continued to move forward, trying to find a beholder with legendary strength, because only its eyes could match the materials required for the ritual.

However, just as Brian took two steps, someone suddenly appeared from the darkness and blocked his way.

This is a mysterious bald man wearing a black robe, with a shining head and tattoos depicting ten small eyes that look like real eyes.

His brows were furrowed, and the small eyes on the tattoos seemed to sense something. They opened and closed slightly, as if flashing sharp light and looking at everything around them.

However, what really surprised Brian was not these strange eyes, but the black dead wood staff in the bald man's hand.

Because at the top of the staff, there was actually a fist-sized eye of the Eye Demon. The eye was obviously still alive, looked very smart, and emitted deep and powerful energy fluctuations.

The energy emanating from the Eye Demon's main eye made Brian instantly realize its value.

The energy fluctuations emanating from the eyes allowed Brian to sense that these were definitely the eyes of an eye demon whose strength had reached the legendary realm.

"It's quite interesting. He actually uses the Eye Demon's main eye as a staff." Brian looked at the man who appeared with a playful expression. This guy's strength was not strong. He was not even in the legendary realm. Beating him was like beating his son. He was holding the man in his hands.

Originally, Brian was still struggling with whether or not to face the Eye Tyrant Karazkal directly.

Now, there are other main eyes to choose from, so he doesn't need to work so hard.

"Stop!" The bald man stared at Brian and shouted coldly, "This is the territory of our Lord Karazkar. Get out of here, or I will be rude to you!"

"So you are the servant of the Eye Demon Tyrant. No wonder you are treated like this."

Brian thought to himself, then smiled and politely said to the bald man, "I'm here to visit your master. Please let him know for me."

He didn't want to fight with the Eye Demon Tyrant. If the issue could be resolved peacefully and he could get the Eye Demon's main eye without having to fight, that would naturally be something he would be happy to see happen.

"How dare you! The great Lord Karazkar is not someone you lowly mortals can meet whenever you want. Get out of here!"

The bald man obviously didn't want to talk to Brian properly. He slammed his staff hard on the ground, and a terrible energy began to gather at the main eye on the top of the staff.

"What if I don't..." Brian asked curiously.

Unfortunately, before he could finish his words, a dark green dissociation ray from the main eye shot straight towards him.

Brian raised his hand and a magic barrier appeared, easily dispelling the attack.

"It seems that this guy obviously doesn't want to talk to me properly. Forget it, I will teach him a lesson and let him learn how to respect others."

Brian's eyes narrowed slightly, and a powerful magical energy suddenly emerged from his body. (End of this chapter)
