Hogwarts Raven's Claw

Chapter 139 Dust to dust to dust

Chapter 139 Dust to dust to dust
In the History of Magic class on the second day, Professor Binns was talking to a group of young wizards in the audience.

Although Professor Binns was very interesting in his talk, the boring history of magic was obviously not what the young wizards were interested in. Coupled with Professor Binns' unique voice that sounded almost invariant, most of the young wizards in the audience fell asleep.

Faced with such behavior from the audience, Professor Binns had no intention of stopping it and just kept on lecturing.

Professor Binns is a well-known hardworking employee at Hogwarts, and also the first ghost professor in the history of Hogwarts.

This old man had a very poor memory due to his old age. Although he often made a lot of jokes in his daily life, he had a very good memory for professional knowledge. It can be said that the entire history of the magic world for thousands of years is all stored in his little head.

According to legend, this old professor chose to turn into a ghost and continue teaching students after his death. His professionalism made successive Hogwarts headmasters allow him to continue to serve as professor of History of Magic.

It’s just that the Alzheimer’s disease he suffered during his lifetime seemed to have passed on to the ghost that was born after his death.

Now he only remembers to go to class and leave get out of class every day, and doesn’t care about the so-called classroom discipline at all.

Even the exam papers for History of Magic were prepared and marked by someone else every year, because Professor Binns prepared exactly the same papers every year.

At the beginning, the students tried hard to listen to the lectures out of respect for the ghost professor, but after a long time, most of them succumbed to his hypnotic voice.

Professor Binns on the stage finally finished teaching today's course, assigned the same homework to everyone in the audience every year, and then floated out of the classroom.

Seeing this, the students who were not asleep in the audience began to pack up their things and prepare to leave the classroom. This was the last class of the day, and they could have fun afterwards.

"Mike, wake up, get out of class is over." Franklin gently patted Mike who was sleeping soundly on the table.

Mike, who was suddenly awakened, raised his head and leaned back in his chair, which scared Franklin who was standing next to him.

After looking around for a while, Mike finally remembered that he had fallen asleep in the History of Magic class. He rubbed his face and asked Franklin, "Is get out of class over?"

"Yes. You don't look well. Why don't you go to the dormitory and sleep for a while? I'll bring you dinner." Franklin replied.

Hearing this, Mike nodded, patted Franklin on the shoulder and said, "Then I'll go back to the dormitory first. You don't have to bring me dinner. I will take care of it myself later."

After saying that, Mike walked out of the classroom, but his destination was not the Ravenclaw Common Room, but the Room of Requirement on the eighth floor of Hogwarts.

It was already past five in the morning when Mike went to bed last night, and he had to get up for class in two hours.

Originally, according to Mike's mental strength, two hours of sleep would be enough for him to get through the day, but unfortunately he had fought two high-intensity battles in a row last night, which made him consume too much energy.

Fortunately, I slept for a while in the History of Magic class, otherwise I might not be able to solve the problem of the crown today.

Arriving at the door of the Room of Requirement, Mike closed his eyes and silently repeated three times in his mind, "I need a place to hide something."

When he opened his eyes again, a wooden door appeared in front of him.

Pushing open the wooden door and entering, I saw a vast space filled with all kinds of strange things. Winding paths extended through these piles of "junk", like a maze.

Through magical perception, Mike also discovered that there were many magical items hidden in these "junk", but most of these magical items exuded malicious magical auras and were obviously not good things.

Mike, who had been here once, was familiar with the route and followed the mark he had taken last time to the box containing the crown.

The box was open, and a gorgeous crown lay quietly inside. Everything was the same as when Mike left last time. But Mike was still worried. He carefully observed the box for a long time and found that the several small traps he had set up before were not triggered. He nodded with satisfaction.

"It looks like no one has been here since that time."

Mike murmured something, and stretched out his hand to pull out a European-style long sword that was shining with cold light from the bag of the Traceless Stretching Spell.

The jaw of this European-style longsword is golden yellow. It is the Sword of Victory and Oath that Mike pulled out from Ravenclaw's grave.

As Mike drew out the Sword of Victory and Oath, the main soul of Ravenclaw inside the crown seemed to understand what Mike was going to do. A dazzling blue light flashed from the gem on the surface of the crown, and at the same time Mike heard a familiar female voice.

"It's you again, a young man with extraordinary talent. You crave power, don't you? Stay with me, and I will make you the most powerful wizard in the world!"

Mike's pupils began to dilate when he heard this, and his originally stiff body gradually relaxed.

The female voice saw that there was something going on and continued, "Come on, put me on! I will make you the king of the world!"

Mike's pupils shrank instantly, and a sarcastic smile appeared at the corner of his mouth.

Mike had already entered a closed-brain state long before he entered the Room of Requirement, and he pretended to be bewitched just to play a trick on the other party.

Mike just had a sneer on his face and remained silent. He held the Sword of Victory and Oath tightly in both hands, raised it high above his head, turned it over, switched to holding it with the backhand, and stabbed it hard at the crown in the box.

"Ding!"

The tip of the sword suddenly pierced the largest gem on the crown, making a crisp sound.

The Sword of Victory and Oath did not penetrate the gem, but Mike clearly saw that at the junction of the sword tip and the gem, fine cracks were spreading rapidly.

"No!"

A dazzling blue light leaked out from the gap, and at the same time Mike heard the voice of the Lord of Ravenclaw again, but this time there was a hint of despair in her voice.

Mike didn't care, raised the sword of victory and oath and stabbed down again.

This time, the blade of the sword went straight through the crown, and the cracks on the gem spread across the entire crown at an even faster speed. Finally, in a dazzling blue light, the Ravenclaw crown exploded and turned into fragments all over the ground.

However, the battle was not over yet. A black mist transformed into the appearance of a Ravenclaw lady and rushed towards Mike with another much lighter black mist.

This sudden change also scared Mike. He didn't expect that Ravenclaw's main soul was so strong that it could attack others even after the Horcrux was destroyed.

He instinctively slashed at the black fog with his sword, and the Sword of Victory and Oath burst out with dazzling white light the moment it came into contact with the black fog.

There was a sound of water being poured on red-hot metal, and the two black mists disappeared under the illumination of white light.

From dust to dust, the legendary wizard Rowena Ravenclaw passed away.
