Chapter 111 Penelope wakes up

Mike stared at Penelope nervously. Although Dumbledore and Madam Pomfrey had assured Mike that the potion prepared by Snape using mandrake would definitely be able to restore Penelope, Mike was still very nervous.

It turned out that Mike's worries were unnecessary. Penelope's long eyelashes trembled a few times, and then she slowly opened her eyes under Mike's expectant gaze.

Penelope looked at Mike with confusion and asked, "What... is going on? What happened?"

"Mr. Townley, I think you and Miss Penelope should get ready. The celebratory dinner tonight is about to begin." Dumbledore said with a smile in his eyes and a teasing tone.

Next to him were Harry and Ron, who looked gossipy. Mike was a little confused. Logically, Hermione should have come after Harry was discharged. He looked behind them and found Hermione standing alone with her arms folded and her back facing the door of the ward, looking a little angry.

Mike chuckled and replied, "Okay, Headmaster Dumbledore, we'll be there soon. You guys go first and don't have to wait for us."

Dumbledore agreed and left with a smile. Harry and Hermione also made a move to leave, but Ron seemed to have something else to say to Mike, and was reluctant to leave with an expression of wanting to say something but not being able to.

Seeing this, Harry quickly reached out and pulled Ron away, while making a cheering gesture to Mike.

Seeing that everyone had left, Mike gently patted the bulging quilt and said to Penello who was acting as an ostrich inside: "They are all gone, you come out."

The white quilt was kicked away, and Penelope said to Mike: "They saw it!"

"So what?" Mike asked confusedly.

"They saw it!" Penelope's expression became even more exaggerated when she heard Mike's answer, as if she was surprised that Mike didn't understand the seriousness of the problem.

Mike spread his hands, shrugged his shoulders and gave her a confused look. Seeing this, Penelope completely exploded and rushed directly to Mike, patting Mike's chest continuously, and kept muttering in her mouth: "They must have seen it, I am so embarrassed!"

Although Penelope didn't use much force when she hit her, Michael would not just stand there and let her hit him. He put his hands under her armpits, picked Penelope up from the bed and started spinning around, causing the girl to scream.

After walking for a while, Mike put Penelope, who was out of breath, down and looked at the bright smile on Penelope's face. He said, "I think we may not have time to dwell on this issue anymore. You heard what Dumbledore said just now. The dinner is about to begin, and you... you are really... hard to describe right now."

Upon hearing this, Penelope quickly ran to the bedside and picked up the mirror to look at herself.

Penelope in the mirror had messy hair, a flushed face, and her clothes were half open.

Penelope screamed and rushed out, but just as she walked out of the ward door, she turned back and said to Mike, "I have to go back to the dormitory to touch up my makeup! Lend me some clothes first, I can't let others see me like this!"

Mike curled his lips when he heard this, and cast a transformation spell to turn Penelope's windbreaker into a hooded robe and said, "It just so happens that I also need to go to the dormitory to tidy up, let's go together."

Penelope nodded, put on her hood, and followed Mike out of the ward.

On the way back to the Ravenclaw common room, Mike told Penelope in detail what had happened in the past few days. Those thrilling stories made Penelope exclaim from time to time.

It was not until the two of them arrived at the Ravenclaw common room that Penelope reluctantly separated from Mike and returned to her dormitory to touch up her makeup, while Mike also went to tidy up his hair which had been messed up during the battle with the basilisk.

It didn't take Mike long to get back to the lounge, but the door to Penelope's bedroom was still closed. Mike wasn't surprised, because girls always spend a lot of time putting on makeup. Because boys couldn't go into girls' bedrooms, Mike could only sit on the sofa next to the fireplace and wait silently. Mike hadn't sat on this sofa for a long time because of the basilisk. When he sat on it again, he closed his eyes because of the familiar comfort.

Perhaps because he had been in a state of high tension these days, Mike fell asleep just like that.

In his dream, Mike saw the raven again. He originally thought that the raven was going to do something weird again, but strangely, the raven just kept scratching his nose with its feathers, making him very itchy.

When he opened his eyes, he found that it was Penelope who was tickling his nose with her hair. He couldn't help but find it funny and reached out to hug her.

But Penelope dodged Mike's embrace like a kitten, raised a finger and said, "Stop messing around, I just fixed it with great difficulty, please don't mess it up again."

Mike only noticed the change in Penelope at this time. Penelope should have put on light makeup. At first glance, there was no trace of makeup, but she looked better than before. Although she was wearing the Hogwarts school uniform robe, it still couldn't hide Penelope's beautiful figure. Along the way, Mike secretly used his magic to sense the material of the earrings on Penelope and found that they were just cheap silver. He couldn't help but feel a little moved.

I thought maybe I knew what gift I should give her for Christmas.
