Wizard: I brought the wrong system.
Chapter 99 Magical Alchemy
Chapter 99 Magical Alchemy
Any aspiring wizard will learn many unusual techniques, such as potion-making, alchemy, magic arrays, magic scrolls, enchanting, etc. Regardless of the method, they are all means for wizards to express knowledge and create tools.
Just like the note Bosco the wizard wrote to Yaro, it didn't contain much about alchemy. Throughout the book, most of the titles were: *The Three Colors Construct a World*, *The Principles of Light and Shadow Illusion*, *The Influence of Magic on Light*, *Sander on the Refraction of Light*, *How to Calculate Light Reflection*, *A Shortcut to Angle Calculation*, and so on.
These books are arranged from difficult to easy. It seems that after writing a few lines, the wizard Bosco suddenly remembered that Yaro was only a novice apprentice, so he also listed some basic books.
There is only one book related to alchemy—"Soba's Alchemy of Potions".
Yaro put away the note, silently looked up, and gazed at the shimmering stars above the Emerald Plains.
Although the wanted poster states that the mother successfully escaped through a bizarre space, just how dangerous is that bizarre space?
How is your mother now?
And his father, his mother, had told him that he had gone to break through to become a formal wizard.
But why did the mother risk infiltrating Wendell Academy when her father was breaking through?
My grandfather's territory belongs to the Wendell Wizarding Academy, so he would definitely be able to get the news that my mother was wanted, and my father would naturally be able to as well.
Why is there no news of my father?
Could it be that Father also infiltrated Wendell Wizarding Academy?
Yaro really wanted to go home and ask his grandfather what had happened.
But he can't leave now. He needs to find a way to dissuade the wizard Bosco from hunting, or use Bosco's connections to find his mother first and deliver the news.
"Ugh!" Yaro scratched his head in frustration. "I used to be able to eat and drink my fill without having to worry about anything. How come I have so many troubles now that I'm at the academy!"
Yaro knew that his worries had never really disappeared; they had just been kept out by his parents in the past.
Once I arrived at the academy, I would no longer be under my mother's protection, and I would have to face many things on my own.
Just like her mother's last words when she said goodbye, "I can only take you this far; you'll have to walk the rest of the way on your own."
No parent can accompany their child for a lifetime.
……
and many more!
Yaro suddenly looked up.
Did Mother have already made up her mind back then?
Mother won't...
Yaro quickly shook his head, denying the terrible conjecture in his heart.
Impossible. If that were the case, Wendell College would not have issued an arrest warrant. Wouldn't that have exposed a scandal that had already been resolved?
Yaro took a deep breath, suppressing his fear, and focused on thinking about the list of books provided by Wizard Bosco.
With some knowledge from his previous life, he should be able to quickly skip some aspects, but that alchemy... "Soba's Alchemy of Potions"?
Alchemy with potions?
I'll go to the library tomorrow and see what they're talking about.
……
Yaro walked toward the cabin, his mind heavy with worry.
A slightly chubby figure rushed over, "Yaro, you're finally back!"
Yaro instinctively kicked out.
"Ouch, that hurts!" Keita cried out as she sat on the ground. "Well, you actually hit your brother so hard!"
A clear female voice teased, "Even warriors who have just come from the battlefield shouldn't rush in recklessly like you. It's already kind of you that Yaro didn't draw his sword against you." "Kaitan, senior?" Yaro then realized what was happening and quickly stepped forward to help Kaitan up. "I'm so sorry, I was thinking about something and didn't notice it was you."
Since he had done something wrong, Yaro was too embarrassed to deny his self-proclaimed title.
Yaro looked up at Delia, "Haven't you rested yet?"
"I was just waiting for you," Keitan said, rubbing his stomach as he got up. "What were you thinking about so intently?"
"What happened? Do you need help?" Senior Delia walked a few steps to Yaro, her face full of concern.
Over the past six months, Yaro has grown a little taller and is now almost the same height as Delia.
Yaro looked at the girl in front of him and smiled, "It's a good thing, senior."
"I've been hunting evil spirits at the entrance to the Blood Forest these past two days and have obtained quite a bit of fluorescent powder."
"Although everyone says that stuff is useless, I thought you had collected strange powders before and discovered new uses, so I collected a lot of it too."
"But when they were brought out, the wizard Bosco saw them and bought up all the fluorescent powder."
"They just talked to me and gave me a reading list. I'm thinking about the books on that list now."
Yaro concealed the fact that he was connected with Kenan Nabi, and only told him about the rest.
“Bosco the Wizard? The book list?” Keitan stood up and asked curiously, “Can I take a look?”
“Of course,” Yaro said, taking the slip of paper out of his pocket again.
Delia glanced at them curiously, then looked troubled: "So many books! Won't it take half a year to read them all?"
Yaro explained, "Six months isn't necessary. If we haven't learned anything about it, it might take a few months."
He didn't know exactly how long it would take. After all, he knew how much was written in the book.
Judging from these book titles, he probably only needed to flip through many of these books once to recall some memories.
Keitan exclaimed with delight, "Brother, you've struck gold! Wizard Bosco is a master of puppet alchemy. Many of the devices in the academy were made by him. If you can gain his favor, you'll be set for life."
He crafted many of the equipment in the academy.
Yaro suddenly remembered the airship he was on and the number dispensing machine in the mission hall.
'That strange style of equipment...could he be a time-traveling predecessor?'
Yaro asked curiously, "The style of the weapons he forges is quite strange. Do you know where he learned to do it?"
“You even know this?” Keitan turned around in surprise. “My grandfather told me that the wizard Bosco once studied at the holy land of mechanical alchemy, Sky City. After returning, he said that the old methods wasted too much manpower, so he created many public machines.”
"Castle in the Sky?"
This is yet another place I've never heard of before. The world is so big; I really want to see it all. But before that, I need to solve the problem at hand.
How can I gain Bosco the Wizard's favor and get closer to him?
"Yaro, I'm going to take a mental energy detection class tomorrow!" Senior Delia suddenly said.
"Ready?" Yaro looked up, temporarily suppressing his other thoughts. "Alright, I'll get up early tomorrow and go with you."
