Chapter 95 Blood Sacrifice 3

Chapter 95 Blood Sacrifice of Three Thousand

The mirror was as still as ice, and the alluring woman's eyes held a hidden arrogance.

"Three hundred years of rebirth have long since healed all hidden wounds."

The voice in the mirror said.

"Head west, and we'll reclaim paradise; even the Lingjiu Temple can pretend not to see it. Head east, and we'll stand proudly against the raging waves; even the East Sea Sword Palace might not be able to do anything..."

Lin Jiansheng listened to his own voice responding to the sound in the mirror with a warm and hoarse tone.

"If it were to stand proudly atop the raging waves of the East Sea, why would I have to shed my fierce aura and endure countless trials to become a disciple of the Divine Firmament Sect? If it were to enjoy ultimate bliss and tranquility, why would I have to shatter the nascent form of the Pure Land of Glazed Glass and head eastward all the way?"

"The world laughs at me for selling my goods to three different people, but who can understand my determination to sacrifice everything to reach the pinnacle of the Great Way?"

A powerful lion's roar resounded throughout Xuan Mountain, shaking the three thousand worlds.

The majestic and imposing Xuan Mountain echoed this lion's roar, the vast and winding Canglang River echoed this lion's roar, and the entire universe and all the primordial energy resonated with this lion's roar.

Lin Jiansheng felt his soul burning.

He finally realized that he was already dead.

That's right, I was already dead when I attacked the Black Mountain Monster in the city.

I am now nothing more than a remnant soul, a remnant soul that has been absorbed into the body of the Black Mountain Monster and cannot escape.

The Black Mountain Monster, or the Lion-Lotus Tathagata, clasped his hands together in front of his chest, one finger pointing to the sky and the other to the earth, a radiant light emanating from behind his head.

"Om, above and below, I alone am supreme!"

Within the halo, it seemed that countless ghosts and gods were constantly struggling, and faces of all kinds of emotions, such as joy, anger, sorrow, happiness, grief, hatred, annoyance, and worry, kept flashing in this sacred Buddhist halo.

The Black Mountain Monster's gauze robes billowed, and from his jade-like body, rays of Buddhist light, like the rising sun, illuminated the three-hundred-year-old darkness within the caves of Yin Mountain.

A huge seven-headed blue lion was chained to this deep underground cave by seven enormous chains.

This cave is bottomless, its size exceeding physical dimensions, more like a concept of an inescapable hell, where countless ghosts roam amidst layers of yin energy, while this mountain-like blue lion is locked in mid-air.

Blue flames burned on each chain, forming twisted and ferocious characters. These characters were like the eyes of extraterrestrial demons, hiding endless hatred and infinite temptation.

At first glance, it seems to contain the wondrous method of the Heavenly Demon's Transformation. As long as one can learn and understand it, one can ascend to the realm beyond the Nine Heavens and attain the position of the Lord of the Dharma. However, upon closer inspection, the deep, dark fire of ignorance seems to burst forth from one's chest, burning one to death.

The chains extend from the deepest part of the mountain, each one nearly three zhang thick, with no end in sight.

The enormous lion's head is like a small mountain, and the platform where the Black Mountain Monster rests and plays with the beast woman is just a small part of this seven-headed blue lion.

"I now make a vow: if I succeed, I will ascend to the Ninth Heaven and attain immeasurable and boundless power; otherwise, I will not attain supreme enlightenment."

As the Black Mountain Monster chanted the incantation, a chain binding the seven-headed blue lion disintegrated and vanished.

"Now I make a vow: if I succeed, all living beings within a three-thousand-mile radius of Xuan Mountain, whether born from womb, egg, moisture, or transformation, will surely consume my blood and food. Otherwise, I will not attain supreme enlightenment."

A stream of black blood flowed from the Black Mountain Monster's left eye, but she didn't care, because the second chain had already vanished.

"I now make a vow: if I succeed, all the immortal beings of the Divine Firmament Path will enter my belly, be corrupted by me, and become my demonic slaves. I will not attain supreme enlightenment without this."

As soon as she finished speaking, the black-robed monster's two eyeballs burst open, and two streams of foul blood spurted out. She, however, laughed heartily.

Because another chain broke and vanished into nothingness.

Three of the seven chains were removed, and the mountain-sized blue lion seemed to be waking up, its fourteen eyes about to open. "Now I make a vow: if I succeed, all the Pratyekabuddhas, Bodhisattvas, and Arhats in Lingjiu Temple will suffer the five signs of decay and will not be able to achieve enlightenment. Otherwise, I will not attain supreme enlightenment."

Two streams of karmic fire ignited from the Black Mountain Monster's arms, and the bone-chilling cold from the hell realm turned his physical body to ashes, yet he still laughed loudly.

Three of the seven blue lion heads have awakened, their eyes filled with endless majesty and unceasing rage. These heads are roaring, cursing, and calling out.

"I now make a vow: if I achieve enlightenment, I will roam freely beyond the nine heavens and take refuge in the supreme and unparalleled Primordial Heavenly Demon King, who governs all under heaven. Otherwise, I will not attain supreme enlightenment."

A tremor from deep within his body caused the Black Mountain Monster to let out a groan that was half pain and half pleasure.

The vibrations, layer upon layer, eventually culminated in the tolling of a bell and a sigh.

"Namo Vairocana Buddha".

His alluring body immediately decayed; his towering mounds turned into tattered sacks, his breasts became layers of wrinkled old paper, and abscesses oozed from the scars on his body. Time seemed to suddenly unleash its power on him, turning all the beauty of the past into pain and devastation.

At this moment, the Black Mountain Monster was barely clothed, his body was in a state of disarray, and his human form had almost turned into a lump of rotten flesh.

However, it was all worth it. With the breaking of the fifth chain, the six little lion heads of the Blue Lion had awakened, and even the last lion head in charge had opened its eyes halfway.

"I now make this vow: if I succeed, the heavens will not be able to cover this world, the earth will not be able to support it, and the world will be turned into a river of blood. I will not attain supreme enlightenment without this."

With that final word, all six chains vanished into nothingness. The Black Mountain Monster's joints cracked and his flesh burst open, sending bits of flesh and blood raining down into the cave.

The Seven-Headed Azure Lion had awakened. He still had one last chain on his body, with blazing dark flames and twisted demonic runes, seemingly both mocking and encouraging him.

The blue lion roared repeatedly, but no matter how hard he tried, the last chain held him firmly, preventing him from breaking free.

At this moment, he can no longer be referred to as the Lion-Lotus-Perfected Tathagata.

Because he had already dispersed his Buddhist Dharma body and severed the Divine Firmament Dao lineage, even his demonic body from the East Sea was now just an empty shell.

The final chain was firmly attached to the point where his body and spirit were in harmony, locking away all his supernatural powers and all possibilities.

Narayana, is this the price?

The Azure Lion recited the name of the Lord of the End of Dharma from beyond the Nine Heavens.

For a powerful demon of the level of the Lord of the End of Dharma, simply calling out his name is enough to attract his attention.

However, the Blue Lion no longer cared.

He has never lacked the determination to give up.

It's time to make a decision.

"I now make this vow: if I achieve enlightenment, I will not seek unsurpassed perfect enlightenment!"

With a lion's roar, red lotuses bloomed in the cave, their stamens emitting karmic flames, as if the Avici Hell had descended. A delicate fragrance arose in the void, and within the boundless shadows, it seemed as if countless demons were swaggering and dancing wildly.

The last chain collapsed with a deafening roar, and the earth shook violently in the Xuan Mountain.

The blue lion finally lost its last restraints, roared, and soared into the sky.

If I can attain enlightenment today, I will offer my blood as a sacrifice to the mountains and rivers for three thousand miles!
