The mechanical sounds of the system fell silent instantly.

Wu Yue felt smug. The dog system must know how powerful it is now. It either explodes in silence or becomes monstrous in silence.

Anyway, she won't become a monster; she'll have to make the dog system redefine her position in the family.

Just as Wu Yue was smugly waiting for the system to compromise, the mechanical voice sounded again: "Life may be hopeless, but please stay clear-headed and face your own species."

The host's current identity is a weak, timid female human, not a powerful canine beastman, and therefore cannot refer to herself as a dog.

Wu Yue looked up at the sky at a 45-degree angle, two crocodile tears hanging from the corners of her eyes: "So these days, I don't even have the right to be a dog anymore?"

The system replied coldly, "Essentially, that's how it is."

The dog system's words were like an arrow piercing through Wu Yue's already fragile heart.

It felt as if gusts of cold wind were whistling through the hole, making it feel incredibly cold!

These words aren't very hurtful, but they are extremely insulting.

"Isn't it incredibly hopeless?" The mechanical voice carried a hint of smugness.

Wu Yue nodded weakly, "Yes."

She quickly got up and put on the straw mat she had woven the day before: "Get up."

Only after hearing her voice did the female outside the cave come in.

It was the thinner female who brought her food yesterday: "My sister was afraid you wouldn't be able to get up, so she asked me to call you and bring you some food."

As he spoke, he stretched out his dark hand, on which was a similarly dark wild vegetable dumpling.

Wu Yue quickly stood up, supporting herself against the cave wall, and took her breakfast: "Thank you, Qingcao. Is the gathering team leaving now?"

Green Grass nodded: "The hunting party will be leaving soon, you should hurry over too?"

Wu Yue bent down, picked up a straw bag placed beside the cave, slung it over her shoulder, and smiled at the green grass while holding the vegetable dumpling in her hand: "I'll go with you. Are you going straight to the meeting point?"
