Chapter 97 "Loyal and Devoted" Lucius

Chapter 97 "Loyal and Devoted" Lucius
Tierra grinned at the shop window, making the most terrifying smile of his life, before walking along the alley next to Ira's Owl Shop, piled with junk, toward Knockdown Alley.

Unlike the clean and tidy Diagon Alley, Tierra smelled a strange odor as soon as she entered Knockturn Alley, like the rotten smell of tomatoes, peppers and dead rats that had been sitting out for a long time.

Unlike the quiet and deserted Diagon Alley, even though it was only 7:30 in the morning, there were already quite a few sneaky people in Knockturn Alley. Wizards dressed in black robes appeared in the intricate streets and alleys with their heads down and bodies hunched over.

Tiera's sudden intrusion caused the rat-like wizards in the surrounding alleys to raise their heads, only to silently lower them again.

Tiera's attire was very appropriate for the occasion. Her pure black wizard robe was neat and clean, clearly distinguishing her from the other wizards present. However, the wide hood covered half of Tiera's face, leaving only the lower half of her face, which was as pale as a corpse.

Tiera carried a suitcase in one hand and held a dark-colored diary in the other.

Raven perched on Tiera's shoulder, staring menacingly at the dark wizard in the alley.

Although there are many dark wizards in Knockout Alley.

But they have their own order; at least they won't attack other wizards in the street.

Especially when Tiera occasionally stuck out her snake-like tongue, the dark wizards hiding in the shadows withdrew their gazes.

Indeed, learning black magic can gradually distort one's personality, make one's temperament increasingly volatile, and gradually reveal the flaws in one's humanity.

But that doesn't mean they're stupid. Faced with someone who clearly seems intimidating and an unknown benefit, they know how to weigh the pros and cons.

This is why Tierra had to be fully disguised before daring to enter Knockturn Alley alone.

The diary held in Tiera's right hand—

It wasn't Tom Riddle's diary, but rather a diary transformed by Tyella's own "successor" through transfiguration.

Tiera was sensing the Dark Lord's mark in the same area through the Dark Lord's mark on the "Inheritor"—

This change was due to a slight magical configuration that Tiera added when inscribing the Dark Lord's mark on the "Inheritor," transforming the mark into a radar-like magical symbol that allowed Tiera to accurately detect other Dark Lord's marks in the same area.

This is simply a combination of a tracking spell and a location spell. Having used the Marauder's Map many times, Tiera had already deciphered most of the magic on the Marauder's Map through the blessing of "knowledge".

Just like now——

At the four o'clock position of Tierra, about 771 meters away, there is a Death Eater named Doggett Bohan.

At twelve o'clock, about 230 meters away, is Avery Plunke.

At nine o'clock, about 1,500 meters away, is Augustus Lukwood.

Suddenly, Tierra stopped and hid in a small alley on her left.

As if suddenly receiving some kind of instruction, Raven let out a cry and flew into the air.

Raven, flying through the air, acted as Tiera's eyes and ears, leading her through the winding, chaotic alleys of Knockturn Alley...

Meanwhile, at the east entrance of Flip Lane, a middle-aged man dressed in fine clothes with long, platinum-blonde hair was pulling his son, who had the same hair color, into Flip Lane with a gloomy expression.

"Pfft—" The platinum-blonde-haired man, Lucius Malfoy, seemed to have stepped on something, frowning as he took a step back.

A layer of brownish mud clung to his shiny leather boots.

Lucius Malfoy waved his wand in disgust, wiping the stuff off his shoes.

Then he roughly pulled Draco Malfoy, who was chuckling beside him. "Listen up, Draco," Lucius said. "If your mother hadn't agreed, I would never have taken you into Knockturn Alley before you were fifteen. Once you're inside the Burginberg Dark Arts Shop, you're only allowed to look; you're not allowed to touch anything!"

“Yes, Father,” Draco Malfoy said excitedly. “You’ve told me five times already, I absolutely won’t touch anything without permission.”

Lucius Malfoy gave a noncommittal "humph," and skillfully led Draco through left and right turns until they found a relatively clean path.

"Ah—" A loud, rough caw of a crow suddenly appeared above their heads.

Just as Lucius Malfoy was about to look up to see whose pet had run away, a sudden, burning pain shot through his left arm—

The pain was so intense and terrible, it felt like a red-hot iron was trying to pierce through his skin.

The giant raven that had been hovering in the air seized the opportunity to swoop down. As Lucius bent over to clutch his left wrist, it grabbed the wand hanging at Lucius's waist, broke the rope at the end of the wand, and flew into the air.

After flying a short distance into the air, the raven landed in a nearby alley with its wand.

The raven loosened its grip, and Lucius's wand, inlaid with a silver tip, fell into a pale hand.

Lucius looked up in horror at the darkness surrounded by irregular buildings.

Terrifying speculation and immense fear exploded in Lucius's mind, sweeping over his heart like a raging storm.

The owner of the pale hand slowly stepped out of the shadows after receiving Lucius's wand.

He was a wizard who wasn't particularly tall, rather thin, and wore a pure black wizard's robe with a large hat that covered half of his face.

“Lucius… Malfoy…” The wizard standing in the shadows used Malfoy’s wand to lift the brim of his hat, revealing a face as pale as a dead man.

His voice was hoarse, like sandpaper scraping against a tabletop, accompanied by hissing sounds like a snake flicking its tongue.

It was a face that still looked childish, with obvious features of adolescence and East Asian characteristics.

"Tiera!" Before Lucius could react, Malfoy, standing beside him, spoke first, identifying the newcomer.

"Heart-breaking and bone-cutting!"

Tierra gently waved Lucius's wand.

Draco Malfoy instantly collapsed to the ground, rolling around in the mud like a maggot. Draco's neat and clean robes were covered in dirt and dust from the ground.

“You’ve really raised a fine son… Lucius…” Tierra said, mimicking Voldemort’s tone.

Tiera waved her wand, halting the Crucifixion Curse.

"What? Surprised to see me?" Tiera flicked her crimson snake tongue. "You thought I was dead?"

"Thump—" Lucius Malfoy instantly knelt down and crawled toward Tyella like a dog.

"Master! Master! Ah! Master, I, I've finally found you!" Lucius cried, tears streaming down his face, as he hugged Tiera's trouser leg. "You've finally returned, my master! I've always been loyal to you, my master!"
