Chapter 90: Shifting the blame
The wand slipped from Tiera's hand and flew toward Dobby.

"Oh no!" Tiera probably guessed what Dobby was planning to do, and instantly extended three tentacles from her left hand, aiming to coil towards the wand.

But Raven beat Tierra to it.

A giant raven took flight from Tierra's shoulder, snatched the wand in mid-air, and landed back on Tierra's shoulder with a swift turn.

After Tierra took the wand from Raven's mouth, Dobby snapped his fingers and disappeared.

However, Tiera did not relax. Instead, she immediately turned around and shot a stun spell towards the seven o'clock position, while simultaneously clenching her left hand towards the ground.

Dobby suddenly appeared five meters away at the seven o'clock position, looking as if he had teleported himself to meet the Stunning Curse.

Dobby didn't panic. Instead, he turned to the side and used his small size to avoid the Stunning Curse.

The Stunning Curse grazed Dobby's arm and struck the lawn behind him, blasting a small crater in the grass.

Dobby stretched out his hand, wanting to snap his fingers again.

But Dobby's skinny arm was tugged by something.

It was only then that Dobby realized that the lawn, stones, and soil where he was standing had turned into wriggling tentacles covered in slime.

Dobby felt as if he were standing in a worm swamp.

Several thick, worm-like tentacles covered Dobby's withered limbs.

Dobby wanted to snap his fingers again, but Tiera gently clenched her left hand.

Its slender hands were bound by the tentacles clinging to its body.

Tiera raised her left hand and pointed at Dobby.

Still struggling, Dobby seemed to have lost all strength, limp and helplessly bound by the worm.

The curse that Tiera just unleashed came from a failed truancy prank by the Weasley twins.

The Weasley twins originally envisioned that whoever ate the candy would feel weak, feverish, and have a runny nose, just like having a cold.

But the actual effect was: paralysis on the spot after eating it.

Tierra asked the Weasley twins for the recipe for this failed product, as well as all the remaining failed products.

Tiera sighed, somewhat troubled, unsure of what to do with Dobby.

If it were anyone else who dared to attack him from behind, they would have been dragged into the lab by Tiera long ago. He just happens to need an intelligent being as his experimental subject.

Tiera's progress in dark magic... especially advanced dark magic, has been consistently unsatisfactory.

Because the essence of black magic is a high-quality, highly destructive magic formed by the combination of emotional power output from the mental dimension and magical power output from the spiritual dimension.

Tiera can express his emotions; he's not a monk, he has emotions and desires too.

However, Tyella simply cannot achieve the extreme emotional output required to unleash Fiendfire, such as the extreme destructive will needed to cast it, or the extreme murderous intent of the Killing Curse.

After all, he lived the first thirty-odd years of his life in a peaceful era under the red flag, and he wasn't some kind of psychopathic killer, so why would he have so many terrifying thoughts in his heart?

His killing curse would probably only cause a nosebleed or something.

This was also his purpose in learning to "spy" on that magic.

He planned to grab any intelligent life form—like Peter Pettigrew—and use "spying" magic to discern his inner emotions while torturing him.

But clearly, Tiera couldn't do that to Dobby, who had come to her doorstep.

Not to mention that Dobby and Peter Pettigrew have fundamentally different stances.

Just the fact that Dobby served as Harry Potter's babysitter and nanny for the next few years is enough to prevent Tyrell from harming him.

Honestly, given how reckless Harry Potter was in the original books, the fact that he survived to the end means that every single person who helped him was innocent.

"Snap—" As soon as the yellow worm with black spots left Dobby's body, Dobby snapped his fingers and disappeared before Tiera's eyes.

“Sigh…” Tiera shook her head helplessly.

It seems Dobby still doesn't trust him.

But that's normal, anyone would be surprised to see Tiera looking like that—

With a bunch of tentacles on its left hand and a mouth on its right, people would probably misunderstand something.

Actually, Tierra really wanted to talk to Dobi.
