Chapter 74 Action
After being reprimanded by Professor McGonagall, the three young wizards did not behave themselves.

“I’m going down to the wooden door tonight,” Harry declared loudly back in the common room. “We have to get the Philosopher’s Stone before Snape!”

"Are you crazy?" Hermione nearly shouted. "You'll be expelled!"

“So what?” Harry retorted loudly. “Don’t you understand? If Snape gets the Philosopher’s Stone, Voldemort will come back! Haven’t you heard what it was like here when he wanted to rule the world? If he got it, Hogwarts wouldn’t exist, and expulsion wouldn’t matter! He’d raze the school to the ground, or turn it into a school that teaches Dark Arts! Can’t you see that losing points is irrelevant now? Do you think he’ll let you and your family go just because Gryffindor wins the House Cup? If I’m caught before I get the Philosopher’s Stone, then I’ll just have to go back to the Dursleys and wait for Voldemort to come looking for me there. That would only delay my death a little longer, because I would never side with the Dark Lords! I’m going through that trapdoor tonight, and neither of you can stop me! Voldemort killed my parents, remember?”

Harry glared at them angrily.

“I agree with Harry,” Tierra said calmly. After the thrilling night in the Forbidden Forest, Tierra discovered that Professor Quirrell was still teaching Defense Against the Dark Arts at Hogwarts.

Clearly, the Dumbledore that Tyra used the Illusion Charm to create that night, while giving him enough time to complete the ritual, did not frighten Voldemort.

After failing to drive away Voldemort, Tyrell had no choice but to change her plans and let everything proceed as originally written.

"You're right, Harry," Hermione said softly.

“I’m going to use my Invisibility Cloak,” Harry said.

“But can it cover all four of us?” Hermione asked.

"The four of us?"

“Oh, don’t be silly, do you really think we’d let you act alone?” Ron said.

“Of course not,” Hermione said shrewishly. “How could you possibly think of leaving us behind to go find the Philosopher’s Stone all by yourself? I’d better go through my books; maybe I’ll find something useful…”

“Wait, Hermione,” Tierra interrupted. “I don’t think all four of us should go in… at least one of us should stay behind. In case we encounter danger and can’t call for help, you should stay behind. If we don’t come out in more than half an hour or an hour, you should go find Professor McGonagall immediately and ask her to come and rescue us.”

"Why?" Hermione exclaimed in dissatisfaction. She agreed to the backup plan of calling for help, but was unhappy about why she was the one left behind. "Why am I the one left behind!"

“You’re a girl,” Tiera said in a slightly smug tone. “These kinds of adventurous things are best left to us boys. You, as a girl, shouldn’t meddle.”

Tierra noticed Hermione's face had turned quite pale, and added fuel to the fire, saying, "Girls should just stay home and watch the house."

"I! No!" The little witch blushed. "Why should I, a girl, have to stay in the lounge and wait for you to call for help? Why aren't you here! I've read more books than you! I should go, and you should stay here!"

Hermione was clearly very angry and retorted incoherently.

“Hey, I’m a boy! Stronger than you,” Tierra continued, stirring things up.

"No! No!" Hermione said angrily, "I'm going tonight! You stay here! It's decided!"

“But…” Tiera wanted to argue.

“No! You stay here!” Hermione exclaimed. “Or I’ll tell Professor McGonagall!”

“Alright, alright,” Tierra said, “disappointed”. “Then I’ll stay.”

At the same time, Tierra muttered, "I still think this job should be done by a woman..."

Tyella stopped mid-sentence, knowing her place, because Hermione was staring intently at him.

Ron and Harry exchanged somewhat bewildered glances, though they felt there was some truth to what Tyella had said.

But no one dared to provoke Hermione at this time.

After dinner, the four of them avoided the other young wizards and sat in the common room. No one paid them any attention.

In fact, none of the Gryffindor students had anything to say to Harry right now.

This was the first time in many days that Harry wasn't sad about it.

Tierra sat leisurely in front of the fireplace, previewing the second-year textbook he had borrowed from the library—after all, he couldn't very well study dark magic in public.

Hermione, meanwhile, was busy flipping through all her notes, hoping to stumble upon a curse they were going to break later.

Harry and Ron rarely spoke, their minds preoccupied with what they were about to do.

One by one, the students went to bed, and the number of people in the common room gradually decreased.

“We can go get the Invisibility Cloak now,” Ron said. Just then, after Lee Jordan finally stretched and yawned and left, Harry ran upstairs, rushed into their dark dormitory, and retrieved the Invisibility Cloak.

"What are you doing?" a voice rang out from a corner of the room. Neville emerged from behind an armchair, clutching his toad, LeFoe.

It seems that Leif just fought for his freedom again.

"It's nothing, Neville, it's nothing," Harry said, quickly hiding the Invisibility Cloak behind his back.

Neville stared at their guilty faces.

“You’re planning to go out again,” he said.

“No, no!” Hermione said. “We don’t want to go out. Neville, why don’t you go to sleep?”

Harry glanced at the grandfather clock by the door. They couldn't waste any more time; Snape was probably already playing music to lull Fulwei to sleep.

“You can’t go out,” Neville said. “You’ll get caught again. And then Gryffindor will be in even worse shape.”

“You don’t understand,” Harry said. “This is very important.”

But Neville seemed determined this time, and was willing to stop them at all costs.

“I won’t let you do this,” he said, rushing forward to block the entrance to the portrait. “I want to…”

"Sleepy—" Tierra said, drawing her wand and speaking to Neville.

Neville seemed to have lost all his strength, and slowly collapsed onto the sofa behind him, while Toad Raeford broke free from his grasp.

“This should keep him occupied for an hour or two,” Tierra said. “You two go quickly. I’ll watch over him here. Hurry up. If you’re not back within an hour, I will report to Professor McGonagall immediately, regardless of whether we succeeded or not.”

“Okay.” Harry, Ron, and Hermione huddled together and put on their invisibility cloaks.

Tierra watched Harry and the others disappear into thin air before sitting quietly on the sofa in the Gryffindor common room for five minutes.

Then, carrying his wand, diary, "The Heir," and the Marauder's Map that he had borrowed from the Weasley twins before dinner, he left the Gryffindor common room.

Tiera determined her direction and headed towards the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher's office on the third floor.

Quirrell… or rather Voldemort, wanted to steal the Philosopher's Stone. To escape his dangerous situation as quickly as possible, Voldemort must have already obtained the formula for the elixir of immortality… or even…

There will also be some raw materials for the elixir of immortality!
Tierra was looking for just that—a time when Quirrell and Voldemort were definitely not around, so she could raid his house!
