Chapter 735 Tourism Funds

Chapter 735 Tourism Funds
“This is just a small town.” Tiera explained as she led Arthur Weasley toward the church in the center of Tenham, now a tall building that had been converted into the town’s meeting room. “Our original plan was to house 1,600 families, or about 8,000 people, in the entire Tenham village.”

“Therefore, for this population, we don’t need to build a large sewage treatment plant like we would in the new development of Hogsmeade. We can handle the daily sewage using biogas digesters,” Tierra continued to explain.

"So little?" Arthur Weasley, who was standing next to Tierra, clicked his tongue in surprise.

In Arthur Weasley's mind, 1,600 families, or about 8,000 people, already represented almost the entire population of the British wizarding world.

However, in Tiera's eyes, it still falls into the category of "only this much".

“The Wizarding World has too small a population,” Tierra said. “That’s what worries me the most; we have too little room for error.”

“Once this busy period is over,” Tierra smiled, looking at Arthur Weasley’s incomprehensible expression, “how about this summer vacation, you take your family, along with Harry and Hermione, to travel around the world to Muggle communities.”

“Go and see the Muggles, go and see the civilization created by the races that drove us into the wilderness, go and see their courage, go and see their history.”

Arthur Weasley could sense from Tyella's words his concern about the wizarding world's population size and his respect for Muggle civilization.

"Really? Me? Me? Can I?" Arthur Weasley felt as if he had been hit by a huge pie.

“Of course,” Tierra said with a smile. “I can even give you some of my personal savings as a travel fund.” “Really?” Arthur Weasley asked in surprise.

“Really, but—” Tiera paused, “there are conditions.”

“Every time you travel to a place, you have to write a travel report, summarizing the local customs, policies, technological development, and modernization process,” Tierra said. “Everyone has to write one, yours, your children’s, and Harry and Hermione’s.”

“Of course, Mr. Tierra,” Arthur Weasley readily agreed, then added with some concern, “I’m sure I’ll be fine. But I’m afraid Ron might not be willing.”

“That doesn’t matter, Mr. Weasley,” Tierra explained with a smile. “To go on a round-the-world trip, you have to write a travel report.”

“If you don’t want to write a travel report, you don’t have to go,” Tierra said, then sighed. “To be honest, Mr. Weasley, I’m also training Ron. Ron is very smart, but… but he just doesn’t want to study seriously.”

"Of course, he may not necessarily have to work in clerical fields in the future, but it's always good to have more skills, isn't it?"

“I understand what you mean, Tierra.” Arthur Weasley listened to Tierra’s words, thought for a moment, and nodded in agreement. “I will have a good talk with Ron and tell him how important this opportunity is. Even if he is unwilling to write a travel report, I will try my best to persuade him. This is not only a trip for him, but also a rare learning opportunity.”
