Chapter 676 Weasley's Car and the Direction of the Third Technological Revolution

Chapter 676 Weasley's Car and the Direction of the Third Technological Revolution
Tierra, shrouded in the night, stepped onto the damp grass and slowly walked into the gloomy, dark, and miasma-filled Forbidden Forest.

As Tiera's figure gradually disappeared into the lush thicket of the Forbidden Forest, two solitary spiders, startled by Tiera's footsteps, hurriedly fled from beneath the withered branches and fallen leaves, burrowing into the shadows of the trees.

“So cute,” Tierra said with a smile.

This reminded Tierra of an East African tarantula he had kept in his previous life. Every time Tierra opened the feeding port of the tank, the tarantula, which had been lying at the entrance of its burrow, would quickly dart back into its hole.

Although in the original Harry Potter 2 storyline, Hagrid had Harry and Ron follow the spider, it's clear that Tyella's current abilities make it unnecessary for her to do so.

Tiera smiled as she made her way through the towering, hill-like tree roots and the dense, star-obscuring leaves toward the deepest part of the Forbidden Forest.

After walking for about twenty minutes, the forbidden forest was unusually quiet tonight. Listening closely, there was only the sound of branches breaking and leaves rustling. There was no other sound.

Then, the surrounding trees became even denser, and even the few glimmers of light overhead could not be seen. It was pitch black all around, so dark that you couldn't see your hand in front of your face.

At this depth, almost no one except Hagrid has ever reached this point; tree roots and stumps are everywhere, blocking the way forward.

If other wizards came here, even with the help of spells like "Flash of Light," they would trip over the protruding tree roots on the ground and fall flat on their faces.

Fortunately, Tiera wasn't just any ordinary wizard—

Wherever Tierra passed, tree roots rising from the soil, as well as low branches and thorny vines along the way, all seemed to recoil and retreat as if they had encountered a spark, making way for Tierra to pass through easily.

After Tiera passed by, the vines, branches, and roots returned to their original positions.

After walking for about twenty or thirty minutes, Tiera suddenly came to a very open and spacious place, surrounded by broken tree roots, branches and vines.

"Boom - boom -"

Tiera heard two discordant sounds. The artificial sound itself was very out of place in this forbidden forest, which was almost like a primeval forest.

There was another rumbling sound, followed by silence.

Suddenly, a dazzling light appeared, so bright it was blinding in the darkness, but Tiera didn't care and turned to look at the source of the blinding light.

It was a small car, covered in grayish-brown rust. Tiera could only vaguely discern its original color from the occasional shards of blue paint hanging from the rust. Three of its four wheels had turned into metal tires, emitting a screeching sound as they rubbed against the ground. The remaining wheel, though still fitted with a tire, was tattered and looked as if the car would wear it off completely after a few more laps.

The car was parked in the middle of a circle of dense trees, with a dense and intertwined canopy of branches and leaves overhead. Through the broken front window, which was now just a few scraps, it was clear that the car was empty. The headlights shone brightly, and the sides of the car were torn and covered with mud and withered vines and leaves.

When the car noticed that Tierra's gaze had turned to it, it made another loud "boom" and then drove off backwards.

“That’s a pretty good spell,” Tierra said to herself. “It’s time to get Mr. Weasley to follow up on it.”

Clearly, the car that just appeared is the one Harry and Ron secretly drove from London to Hogwarts when they were in their second year.

Tiera knew there was such a vehicle in the Forbidden Forest, but she never expected it to still be alive and that she would run into it.

Just as Tiera said, this magic is indeed a good magic—

Although if Tiera wanted to, he could easily create such a self-aware car using his own power of life or creation—

Even Transformers are no problem.

But this is Tiera's own authority. Once Tiera leaves, this technology will be cut off. Even if Tiera leaves behind a magic book that has been given life or the power to create before she leaves, how many times can that be equivalent to?
And this car—

It was entirely modified by Mr. Weasley himself. Regardless of how Mr. Weasley did it, it shows that he has the ability to give an ordinary object an autonomous ritual.

If this magic could be expanded and refined, it would be a war machine plan no less significant than the capture of the eight-eyed giant spider.

For example, Weasley only magically conjured an ordinary car. But what if he magically conjured an armored vehicle? A tank? A sniper cannon? A fighter jet? A nuclear-powered aircraft carrier? Or even a nuclear bomb?

Or, to put it more simply and go a step further, what if we magically transform artificial intelligence to create a cyber god like Ultron from the movies Tiera watched in her previous life?
There are many, many more possibilities like this in the magical world.

Even if most of them are not feasible, as long as one succeeds—

If any project that combines wizarding magic with Muggle technology succeeds, it will be no less significant than the Third Technological Revolution for the entire planet.
