Chapter 648 Gods of Dreams
After eating and drinking to their hearts' content, a long time had passed, and it was already dark outside. The howling wind and snow outside seemed to have become even stronger.
However, the atmosphere inside restaurant number 12 in Grimmauld Place has already become incredibly lively.
After finishing his Christmas dinner and drinking a few glasses of honey sherry, Dumbledore returned to Hogwarts, seemingly with some official business to attend to.
To Harry's delight, however, Tyella stayed.
During the dinner just now, Mrs. Weasley's knot in her heart seemed to be gradually untied by the joint efforts of Dumbledore and Mr. Weasley. She was no longer so resistant to Tyella, and after dinner, she even asked Harry to bring Tyella a bowl of freshly baked cream tarts.
—Although Weasley did it with a sullen face, it was still progress, Harry thought.
Harry readily agreed; he hadn't had a proper conversation with Tyella in a long time. Of course, excluding the fact that he'd been jolted awake from the Cold Plains of Dreamland last night, Tyella's work seemed to have finally eased up a bit with the approach of Christmas.
Harry, Tyrell, the Weasleys, and their guests sat in the main hall on the second floor of Grimmauld Place. Ginny Weasley had been so wasteful with the thin layers of gold dust and flakes that the once elegant hall now looked more like it had been the site of a series of dizzying explosions.
Fred, George, Harry, and Ron were among the few who knew that the angel at the top of the tree was actually a goblin who bit Fred in order to steal the carrot pie from the Christmas dinner.
To punish or tease the goblin, Fred used petrifying powder to stiffen his large body, then painted it with gold paint, dressed him in a realistic miniature dress, and glued a bunch of wings to his back. He then secretly took his masterpiece from the garden of the Burrow to number twelve Grimmauld Place and placed it on top of the Christmas tree.
The goblin, whose form had been fixed by the petrifying powder, was now glaring down at them angrily.
This was the ugliest angel Harry had ever seen, with a huge, potato-shaped bald head and even more hairy feet.
They wanted to hear Mr. Weasley's favorite singer, Beckman, at her Christmas concert, her soft vibrato coming through the large wooden radio.
Fleur Delacour, Bill Weasley's girlfriend and Harry and Tyrell's former rival in the Triwizard Tournament, was also invited to spend Christmas at Number Twelve, the Membrane Square. She seemed to find Beckman's singing boring and kept talking loudly in the corner, as if trying to cover up the dull and melodious music.
Fleur Delacour was the second person, after the Weasleys, to show no welcome to Tyella's arrival. Harry had heard that the brother of Fleur Delacour's roommate's boyfriend had participated in the siege of the British Ministry of Magic last summer and had gone missing during the operation.
Therefore, when it came to the fact that her best friend's boyfriend's brother had disappeared, Fleur Delacour naturally didn't have a good impression of Thiera.
However, Tiera seemed completely unconcerned, ignoring Fleur's hostile gaze.
Meanwhile, the sullen Mrs. Weasley kept pointing her wand at the sound controller, making Beckman's voice louder and louder.
Hidden beneath a jazzy melody called "Intense Love," Fred, George, Ginny, and Hermione play a card game.
It's not worth mentioning why Hermione seems to be deliberately avoiding Tyella. She only greeted Tyella briefly at the beginning and then barely interacted with her. Harry guessed that Hermione might not want to bring up the decision to leave the Philosopher's Stone crafting group to Tyella.
Ron continued to stare at Bill and Fleur's hiding place, as if trying to glean some dating tips.
Meanwhile, Lupin sat by the fire, looking thinner and rougher than before, staring intently into the depths of the flames as if he hadn't heard a sound. "Oh, come stir my cauldron."
If you did it right
I will bring you passionate love to warm you tonight.
“When we were 18, our hormones danced to this song!” Mrs. Weasley said. “Do you remember, Arthur?”
“Jasmine?” Mr. Weasley nodded. “Oh, yes. Yes… an incredible melody…”
"Hmm, Tierra, have you been busy lately?" Harry chatted casually with Tierra.
“Busy? How could I not be busy?” Tiera said. “Since Hermione left, all the calculations and verifications, big and small, have returned to my hands. Fortunately, there are many of me, and fortunately, the forging of the Philosopher’s Stone has reached its final stage.”
"Hermione quit?" Harry asked in surprise. "When did Hermione quit?"
Hermione looked so reluctant just a moment ago, but she's quitting now, only a few hours later?
“About a week ago,” Tiera said with a smile. “Why didn’t she tell you? Didn’t you notice that he was spending more time outside the Room of Requirement before Christmas?”
“Yes, I did notice,” Harry said. “But she was always carrying around a notebook, doing calculations. I thought she was working on the formula for the Philosopher's Stone or something.”
“The calculation of the Philosopher’s Stone formula must be performed inside the Room of Requirement under specific conditions,” Tiera explained. “Outside, only simple calculations and calculations of the magical framework can be performed.”
“I see,” Harry said. “Why did she quit?”
“I kicked her out,” Tierra said. “She was too focused, so focused that her mental state became somewhat unstable.”
"Unstable?" Harry asked in surprise.
“One time she was so tired that she fell asleep in a Room of Requirement laboratory, and then,” Tiera paused and continued, “and then she dreamed of the Dreamlands.”
"To be more precise, she went to the secret realm, Kadas."
“Ka? Kadas?” Harry was even more shocked. “Where is that?”
"The dwelling place of the ancient gods of Earth," Tiera replied briefly. "A city of agate located high in the desolate, cold plains. Because they lived there, the gods were far less powerful than the Great Old Ones. They looked very similar to humans, but most of them had long, narrow eyes, long, leaf-shaped ears, thin noses, and pointed chins."
"Where did Hermione go?" Harry asked. "Did she encounter the Dream Gods?"
“Yes and no,” Tierra said. “The Dream Gods noticed her, but I pulled her back before Hermione noticed them.”
