Education Order No. 25, Chapter 454
"Tiera spoke so well!"
That evening, as they emerged from the Room of Requirement in separate groups, Hermione was as excited as a little groundhog. If it weren't for the late hour and the fear of disturbing the dormitory supervisor, Fitch, Hermione would probably have been enthusiastically pulling Harry and Ron aside to discuss it.
"Yes... that's well said..." Ron said weakly, "but why did you give us homework!"
“Assigning homework is one thing, but why do we have to be assigned math homework?” Ron said hysterically. “Doesn’t he think we’re busy enough? Dealing with Umbridge’s copying assignments is troublesome enough. If we add math on top of that, we probably won’t even have time to sleep!”
“Didn’t you hear what Tierra just said in class?” Hermione retorted. “The physical three dimensions—length, width, and height—are what we can observe with the naked eye. But the magical three dimensions—the material, spiritual, and mental dimensions—are what we cannot observe. They are like the ocean, and we are like fish living in it. So we can only imagine their existence and their forms. But mathematics—”
“Mathematics is a tool that can make this kind of imagination systematic and concrete,” Ron interrupted, annoyed. “For Tierra’s sake, I didn’t lose focus for a single moment during the entire class.”
“But what about our copying assignments?” Ron asked.
“Tierra has taken that into account too,” Harry said. “Didn’t he just teach us how to make an automatic copying pen? All we have to do is write all twenty-six letters of the alphabet and give it a book, and it will finish all our copying assignments for us.”
“But we have to know how to do it first!” Ron said desperately. “Look at those math formulas!”
"Stop complaining!" Harry patted Ron on the shoulder. "Things are much better now than before. Let's work together."
For the next two weeks, Harry felt as if he had a talisman on his chest, a warm secret that sustained him through Umbridge’s classes, and he even found the toad much more agreeable.
Under Tierra's leadership, he and Dumbledore's Army fought against Umbridge right under her nose, doing what she and the Ministry of Magic feared most.
Whenever Umbridge asked to read Wilbert Slinka's books in her class, Harry would try to recall what Tierra had taught, and sometimes, when Umbridge wasn't around, Harry would secretly do calculations under his books with draft paper underneath.
Harry knew that most of the other students in Dumbledore's Army were doing the same.
Although most students initially had reservations about Tiera's teaching methods, especially in mathematical calculations.
However, during the first practical lesson in Defense Against the Dark Arts, when the young wizards who had already completed their magical constructs were able to easily use spells they had never practiced before, these criticisms diminished considerably.
As the learning process progressed, once Neville Longbottom unleashed a perfect "Expelliarmus" spell, these complaints completely vanished.
Everyone began to complete the mathematical calculations assigned by Tiera entirely voluntarily.
Of course, their operation, involving a large number of people, could not possibly have completely escaped Umbridge's notice.
So Tierra used her authority slightly—
It created a dream.
All theoretical lessons will be taught in dreams.
Meanwhile, when they needed to take a practical lesson in Defense Against the Dark Arts, Tiera would open a portal and send them in batches to the giant tapestry on the eighth floor depicting the troll beating Barnabas.
Of course, as Dumbledore's army intensified its training, the Ministry of Magic also stepped up its efforts to erode Dumbledore's influence.
First, following a conflict sparked by a Quidditch match, Umbridge seized the opportunity to announce Education Order No. 25.
The Senior Investigator shall henceforth have supreme authority over all matters concerning punishment, sanctions, and deprivation of rights involving Hogwarts students, and shall have the power to amend such punishments, sanctions, and deprivation of rights imposed by other faculty members. Signature: Cornelius Fudge.
The incident stemmed from an extremely brutal Quidditch match in which Slytherin suffered a crushing defeat. Draco Malfoy, Crabbe, and Goyle, enraged, directly insulted Harry and Ron's parents.
“I’ve never seen such a lousy goalkeeper, but he was born in a dumpster, wasn’t he? You’re right, Porter, aren’t you?” Draco Malfoy yelled at Ron, who was in goal, after the loss.
“Ignore them,” Angelina, the Gryffindor team captain, said, pulling Harry and Ron aside. “They’re just jealous because they lost, sore losers—”
"Your whole family lives in a pigsty, doesn't it, Ron?" Malfoy yelled again. "You like the Weasleys, don't you? They're just like your mother, full of the stench of a Muggle pigsty!"
After that, Harry charged at them with his broom in hand.
Upon receiving the news, Dolores Umbridge immediately rushed to McGonagall's office and showed McGonagall her prized Education Order No. 25.
Umbridge still held the parchment edict in her hand, looking at Harry Potter with a strange grin.
“So… given Mr. Potter’s past misdeeds and the safety of the other students… I think I have to ban these two from playing Quidditch anymore.” Her gaze shifted back and forth between Harry and George.
Harry felt the Snitch struggling frantically in his hands.
"Forbidden, forbidden from us?" His voice sounded strangely distant. "Again, again, again, playing ball?"
“Yes, Mr. Potter, I think a lifetime ban would be more appropriate,” Umbridge said, her smile widening as she saw him struggling to understand her. “You and Mr. Weasley. I think, for safety’s sake, this lad’s twin brother should also be banned… If his teammates hadn’t stopped him, I believe he would have attacked Mr. Malfoy as well. I’ll confiscate their broomsticks and keep them safe in my office to ensure no one violates my ban. But I’m not being unreasonable, Professor McGonagall—”
She turned to Professor McGonagall, who was staring at her like an ice sculpture, and said, "The other players can continue playing. I didn't see any violent tendencies in them. Well then, have a good afternoon—"
“Please wait a moment, Ms. Umbridge—” At this moment, Dumbledore’s booming voice interrupted Dolores Umbridge’s smug voice.
Dumbledore appeared in Professor McGonagall's office, and no one saw how he entered, even though Dolores Umbridge and her gang were all blocking the doorway.
But Dumbledore did appear, right in the very center of McGonagall's office.
"Professor Dumbledore, I—" As soon as Harry saw Dumbledore appear, it was as if he had seen his pillar of support. His face showed a look of grievance, and he opened his mouth as if to pour out his bitterness.
"Don't waste any more time, I already know," Tiera said, rubbing her eyebrows.
He was just preparing his lecture notes for the next Defense Against the Dark Arts class when he saw Dolores Umbridge again using Cornelius Fudge's scribblings as gospel.
So Tiera put down her lesson plan and rushed over.
Tierra waved her hand—
The Twenty-Five Educational Decree was in Tiera's hands, and in no time at all, it became a pile of worthless paper.
"Sorry, I don't approve Education Decree No. 25," Tierra said calmly, then casually tossed the scrap of paper in her hand onto the ground.
