Chapter 332: The First Project Ends

After the first event concluded, Ludobagman gathered all the warriors together again to announce the schedule for the next round of competition.

"Tierra!" Harry ran over excitedly and hugged Tierra tightly, saying, "Did you see that? Everyone said I fought really well in the match!"

"I see, you're very brave," Tierra said half-jokingly.

“Thank you, Tyella! Thank you for the magical item!” Harry said.

“You’re welcome, Harry, you’re welcome,” Tyella said with a smile.

"You all did a great job!" Ludobagman said happily after everyone had arrived. "Especially our first warrior, Tierra Lockhart. He brought a completely new viewing experience to the audience with magic beyond imagination."

As he spoke, Ludobagman gave Tiera a fawning smile.

"Now that you've all obtained the golden eggs, it means you've passed the first test of the competition," Ludobagman continued after laughing. "Your second test is tentatively scheduled for three months from now, starting at 9:30 AM on February 24th next year. Before then, you can rest for a long time—but we'll leave you with some questions! Unlike the first competition, which was completely kept from you, the clues for the second test are inside the golden eggs. Look down at the golden eggs you're holding, and you'll find they can be opened… See the seam there? You must unlock the clues provided inside the eggs—that will tell you what the second test is. You can get ready! Understand? No problems?"

“No,” Harry, Tyella, Lady Delacour, and Viktor Krum answered in unison.

"Alright, that's all I have to say. Good luck." Ludobagman took off his hat, bowed slightly to the warriors, and then politely stepped aside to let them go and celebrate with their family and friends.

Harry and Tyrell left the tent together, found Ron and Hermione waiting outside, and the four of them walked back around the edge of the forest, which was now a scene of devastation and had been burned to the ground, chatting non-stop along the way.

Harry wanted to know more details about how the other champions did it—

Especially what Tierra did.

Tierra insisted that she only used the Flash Charm and the Summoning Charm, but Ron—

"That was absolutely brutal, like hell on earth!"

Ron shouted excitedly.

Harry and Ron are now back to normal, as if they never had a falling out. On the way back to Hogwarts Castle, Ron's mouth never stopped, chattering incessantly about the Tyrell match they had just witnessed—

This actually made Tiera feel a little embarrassed.

Because Tierra is not someone who likes to show off, hearing others recount her immature behavior made her feel like she was being publicly executed.

Especially after Hermione joined the discussion.

“Oh, right, Harry!” Tierra suddenly interrupted, “Let’s go! Let’s go to the Owl’s Hut!”

Tyella sensed an extremely powerful life force blocking the way to Hogwarts.

You don't have to think twice to know who it is.

“Now that you’re safe, we should let Sirius know,” Tierra said, leading Harry around to the Owl Hut on the hill behind Hogwarts.

“Oh, oh, okay, okay,” Harry said, and then the four of them went to the owl hut.

Harry wrote in the letter about how he had safely passed through the dragon.

On the way there, Harry told Ron, Hermione, and Tyella all of Sirius's warnings about Karkaroff.

Ron was initially surprised to hear that Karkaroff was a Death Eater, but as they entered the Owl's Barn, Ron said they should have suspected it sooner. "That's more like it!" Ron said. "Remember what Malfoy said on the train, that his father and Karkaroff were friends? Now we know where they met. They were probably parading together in masks at the World Cup… But I have to tell you something, Harry, if Karkaroff was the one who put your name in the Goblet of Fire, he's probably a little dumbfounded right now, isn't he? Didn't succeed, you only got a scratch! Come here—let me do it—"

When the piglet heard that he was going to deliver a letter, he was so excited that he flew around and around over Harry's head, squawking non-stop.

Ron snatched the piglet down from the air and pinned it down while Harry tied the letter to its leg.

“The other two projects can’t be that dangerous, absolutely not.” Ron said as he walked toward the window, carrying the piglet.

Harry knew that Ron was only saying this to make up for his behavior in the previous weeks, but Harry was still very grateful.

Ron threw the pig out the window. The pig plummeted twenty feet before struggling to take flight again.

The letter tied to its leg was much longer and heavier than usual.

“Seriously, Ron,” Tierra said at this moment, “I think you should take better care of your pet.”

They watched the pig disappear into the night sky, and then Ron said, “Well, Harry, we’d better go downstairs to the surprise party for you—Fred and George have surely stolen a lot of goodies from the kitchen.”

“Okay.” Harry replied and walked down the hill where the owlhouse was located under the cover of night.

Harry and Ron walked in front, chattering away, while Hermione and Tyrell walked a little behind.

Hermione shook her head helplessly, while Tyella put her hands behind her back and her fingers twitched slightly.

Part of the road leading to Hogwarts Castle was secretly cut off.

"Strange." Upon arriving at the castle, Hermione looked back with an unusual expression—

“Why do I always feel like this road is much shorter than usual?” Hermione said.

"Haha, just a misperception." Tyella laughed awkwardly, then pulled Hermione and quickly entered Hogwarts Castle. "Come on, let's come in quickly, or the food George and Fred got might get cold."

"Okay," Hermione replied.

As they entered the Gryffindor common room, cheers and shouts erupted once again.

The tables and chairs were piled high with cakes, along with jugs of pumpkin juice and butterbeer.

……

Meanwhile, on the only way to the back gate of Hogwarts Castle, the white-haired Hathaway Romanoff stood aloof and proud under the night sky.

“That’s strange,” Hathaway Romanov said. “I clearly saw him walking this way just now, so where did he go?”

"Achoo—" Hathaway Romanov shivered.
