Harry Potter and the Great Old Ones

Chapter 318 Dumbledore Appears Yet Again

Chapter 318 Dumbledore Appears Yet Again

Because of Rita Scitta's article, the relationship between Harry and Ron, which had been slightly improving, quickly returned to its freezing point.

Clearly, given the Daily Prophet's strong credibility, Ron believed Rita Skitta's fabrications. Skitta's article seemed to not only make Ron more convinced that Harry was a show-off who liked to be in the spotlight, but also that he had an improper relationship with Tyella.

Hermione was very angry with them both—

She was mainly angry with Ron.

"He's so stupid!" Hermione exclaimed angrily. "How could he believe such nonsense!"

“Who says otherwise?” Harry was also angry. “There are people stupid enough to believe those things.”

Tierra simply smiled and did not participate in their discussion.

“Don’t you have anything to say?” Hermione asked. “After all, you’re one of the main characters in the story. Why are you acting as if Rita Skitta isn’t talking about you?”

Tierra shrugged and said, “I don’t care, I don’t mind.”

In a way...

Rita Skitta is not wrong about being treacherous, cunning, manipulative, and ruthless in her pursuit of power.

Although Tiera was certain that she was making things up when she wrote those words, it must be said that Ritaskita's fabrication was remarkably accurate.

Hermione clearly wanted the two to reconcile, but after Tyrell watched the drama unfold with amusement and made it clear she didn't want to get involved, Hermione started running back and forth between them, trying to force them to talk to each other.

But Harry refused to back down—

He insisted that he would not speak to Ron unless Ron admitted that Harry had not put his name in the Goblet of Fire and apologized for accusing Harry of lying.

“It’s not my fault!” Harry insisted. “It’s his problem. Look at Tierra! Why can’t he be like Tierra? Tierra never suspected me when he came out!”

“Because Tyella is a prophet! He knows everything!” Hermione said.

“Not everything, to be precise,” Tiera rolled her eyes. “And by the way, please don’t drag me into their little squabble—”

"I'm leaving now, goodbye." After saying that, Tierra immediately picked up her notebook and ran out of the side door of the auditorium.

Just now, Tiera suddenly sensed a massive amount of life force heading towards the main hall.

Without a doubt, it was Hathaway's artificial life form.

“You care about Ron a lot!” Hermione continued impatiently after Tyella left. “I know Ron cares about you a lot too—”

"Care about him?" Harry said irritably. "I don't care about him at all..."

Of course, this is a complete lie—

Although Harry thoroughly enjoyed being with Hermione and Tyrell, Ron had a different style—

Even though being with Tyrell often made Harry feel safe and peaceful, when he was with Hermione, Harry would experience less laughter. This was because when Tyrell and Hermione met, they would either be studying together in the library or whispering to each other in ways Harry couldn't understand at all.

This often made Harry feel excluded, which made him incredibly lonely. It made Harry miss Ron's company even more, at least when Tyrell and Hermione were discussing things he didn't understand, Ron could tell Harry a few jokes.

"He's here again!" Hermione complained. "He's so annoying..."

Harry, Hermione, and Tierra are currently in the library. Interestingly, Tierra isn't discussing things Harry doesn't understand with Hermione; instead, she's explaining the key points of the Eye Disease Charm and the Summoning Charm to Harry.

This made Hermione a little bored while doing her homework alone, and her eyes wandered around aimlessly—

Then she saw Viktor Krum, the warrior of Durmstrang.

To be precise, I don't know why Viktor Krum has been appearing around Harry, Tyella, and Hermione so often lately.

Harry initially thought Viktor Krum was there to gather intelligence, but that was clearly not the case, because Viktor Krum never caused them any trouble.

Not only did he not cause them any trouble, but to be precise, Viktor Krum did not communicate with them at all. He simply sat quietly not far away, no matter where they appeared.

However, groups of girls often hid behind the bookshelves to spy on him, and Hermione felt that those sounds were distracting her.

“He’s not good-looking at all!” she muttered angrily, glaring at Krum’s sharply defined profile. “They only like him because he’s famous! If he hadn’t been doing those shady dealings—”

“It was a feint by Lansky,” Harry said through gritted teeth. He was getting a little annoyed because what Tyrell was saying was far more profound than what he and Hermione had been whispering about.

Moreover, Harry didn't want others to use Quidditch terminology indiscriminately, and he also felt a pang of discomfort imagining how Ron would argue with Hermione if he heard her talking about "chicken-stealing fake toys."

When you're filled with fear about something and wish time would slow down, time never grants your wish; instead, it speeds up its pace. It's a strange thing. The days leading up to the first project flew by, as if someone had doubled the clock's speed.

Wherever Harry went, he was filled with an uncontrollable panic, an emotion that followed him everywhere, much like the malicious comments people made about the Daily Prophet article.

However, Tierra remained calm, as if she didn't care about the competition at all. As usual, she would write and draw in her notebook with her pen every day, calculating things that even Hermione couldn't understand.

On the Saturday before the first project began, the school approved students in the third grade and above to visit Hogsmeade Village.

Harry and Hermione decided to go to Hogsmeade Village for some fun to relax. They had originally wanted to invite Tyrell to come along, but she didn't go.

Tierra really wanted to go, but he couldn't, because—

Tierra was summoned to Dumbledore's office yet again.

To be precise, when Tyrell, Harry, and Hermione finished breakfast and were about to meet at the gates of Hogwarts Castle, they ran into Dumbledore.

Then Dumbledore said with a smile:

“Ah, Mr. Lockhart.”

A sense of foreboding instantly rose in Tiera's heart—

Because it seems that Dumbledore almost never calls him "Mr. Lockhart".

“Mr. Lockhart,” said Dumbledore, “would you mind keeping this centenarian company for a while?”

I'm so sorry everyone, I was really busy with experiments today, so the update is a little late.
