Chapter 308 Tiera's Teaching
Chapter 308 Tiera's Teaching
After breakfast, when it was finally time for class, Harry's mood didn't improve much—
In the first herbal medicine class on Monday, the seating arrangement was as usual—
Tyrell sat closest to Professor Sprout, then Harry, then Hermione, and then Ron.
Normally, Tyella would tell himself about the herbalism knowledge and other trivia he needed to pay attention to in class, but today, in this herbalism class, Tyella was bent forward, handling the bouncy bulbs, while turning his head to talk to Hermione, who was sitting to Harry's right—
"...Never fight a battle unprepared, never fight a battle you can't win. Every battle should be prepared for, and every effort should be made to have a chance of victory based on the comparison of the enemy's and our own conditions... In our current situation, this means that before we lead a trend, a reform, or even a revolution, we must thoroughly investigate and collect all the unfavorable and favorable factors. In particular, what we are about to do infringes on the interests of all the financial magnates. Once we start, there is no turning back..." Tierra said to Hermione, tilting her head.
"Mmm, mmm, mmm." Hermione nodded frantically.
“Enemies? What enemies?” Harry asked, bewildered.
"...First, we attack the scattered and isolated enemies, then the concentrated and powerful ones... We need to gradually wear down the enemy's strength. We should win over those we can, and for those we can't, we should expose their conflicts and let them fight amongst themselves, turning themselves into a disorganized mess... This way, we'll face much less resistance..." Tiera continued, "Our current situation is that we need to first win over pure-blood wizards who are friendly towards Muggles and magical creatures, as well as wizards who have been treated unfairly, such as werewolves like Professor Lupin. Then, we'll unite everyone through a shared theory. This is what I told you yesterday about uniting all forces that can be united, minimizing enemies and maximizing friends."
“Mmm, mmm, mmm,” Hermione nodded again, putting down the bouncing bulb in her hand, seemingly preparing to take out a pen and paper to write it down—
“No need to write it down, Hermione,” Tyella said. “I’ll give you a handout later; it’s all there.”
"Okay, okay," Hermione said, putting the pen and paper back in her hand.
"Heh..." Harry chuckled dryly twice—
Harry understood every single word Tyrell said, but when those words were strung together to form sentences, he couldn't understand them at all.
“Um…Ron…” Harry looked past Hermione at Ron, wanting to say something to him—
But Ron remained expressionless, ignoring Harry and focusing intently on the bouncy bulb in his hand, as if it were Ron's favorite wizarding card, completely oblivious to Harry's voice.
Harry called out a few more times, but Ron still ignored him.
Harry found this boring and silently stuck his head out, imitating Ron and focusing on processing the bouncy tuber in his hand.
After Harry turned his head away, Ron suddenly turned his head, glanced at Harry, and then quickly turned it back—
Harry and Ron spent the entire Herbology class in this boring and dull atmosphere, but Tyella and Hermione seemed to be having a great time talking, and even after class, when they came out of the herb shed, Hermione and Tyella did not stop talking.
Monday afternoon is Hagrid's Magical Creatures Protection Class—
Normally, Harry would definitely want to see Hagrid, but Hagrid's Magical Creatures Protection class meant he would also be seeing Slytherin students—
This will be his first direct encounter with the Slytherins since becoming a champion.
Just as he had expected, when Malfoy arrived at Hagrid's cabin, his face was once again etched with that mocking smile.
“Ah, look, folks, this is our champion.” As Malfoy approached, and guessing that Harry could hear him, he said to Crabbe and Goyle, “Do you have any books signed by him? You’d better get him to sign them quickly, I doubt he’ll be here long… Half of the champions in the Triwizard Tournament are dead… Potter, how long do you think you’ll live? I guess about ten minutes after the first event begins.”
Malfoy dared not provoke Tyella. For some reason, it seemed that after the start of this semester, Malfoy had regained the same fear and apprehension he had felt towards Tyella since his second year.
But Malfoy wasn't the kind of person who was willing to stay put, so he only dared to approach Harry when Tyrell and Hermione seemed to be having a long conversation. Even so, Malfoy had to stop there because Hagrid came back from behind his hut with a large stack of rickety boxes in his arms, each containing a huge Blasttail.
Hagrid began by explaining that the bomb-tailed snails kill each other because they have excess energy they have nowhere to release.
To solve this problem, each student had to tie a snail to a rope and take it for a walk.
The students were terrified when they heard this.
“Hmm… Tiera!” Hagrid called out—
This interrupted the conversation between Tyra and Hermione.
“I’ve isolated those two blast-tailed snails of yours.” Hagrid rubbed his hands together, looking somewhat embarrassed. “What did you feed them? I had to lock them in the stone house… You’d better go check on them… or I’m afraid they’ll eat up all the giant spiders in the Forbidden Forest!”
"Really?" Tierra was overjoyed. "Where is it? I'll go see."
“Hmm…it’s right behind my hut…hmm…go around my hut, go into the forest from the crossroads with the oak tree…hmm, then walk a few hundred meters south and you’ll get there…” Hagrid said, taking out a set of dragonhide armor from his belongings and handing it to Tiera. “You should wear this when you go and take a look…they’re incredibly ferocious…I haven’t dared to open that box since I put them in it.”
“Oh, no, no,” Tiera waved her hand in refusal. “After all, I am their mother; they would never attack me.”
As she spoke, Tiera drew the wand that the "Mad Walker" had transformed into and held it in her hand.
“Wait, Tyella, I’ll go with you,” Hermione said.
“Me too…” Harry hurriedly called out—
“No!” Hagrid suddenly cried out, “Harry, you stay here… um… and Hermione too… I… I want to talk to you…”
“I’ll go first then.” Tyra glanced at Hermione, and before Hermione could react, Tyra dashed off towards the woods behind Hagrid’s hut.
In truth, Hagrid didn't need to explain things to Tierra in such detail. Based on the connection between Tierra and the Exploding-Tailed Serpent Snail, Tierra quickly found the stone house Hagrid had mentioned.
It was a stone house, taller than Hagrid himself, at least three stories high, built of grayish-white stones.
A single locked stone door occupies nearly a third of the front area of the stone house.
As Tiera approached, the creature inside the stone house seemed to sense something and began to roar incessantly—
It was a muffled roar, with a hint of human tone mixed in with a hoarse, beast-like howl.
Upon hearing their cries, Tierra's face lit up instantly, and she waved her wand—
The door of the stone house slowly opened.
I'm really sorry everyone, I've been so busy with experiments lately, so there might only be one update today and tomorrow. I apologize in advance.
I'll definitely make it up to everyone when I have more free time.
Thank you Xiaoyao Xiyufeng for voting for me in January.
