Harry Potter and the Great Old Ones

Chapter 239 The Burnt Sacrifice of Isaac

Chapter 239 The Burnt Sacrifice of Isaac
Inside the Divination classroom at Hogwarts.

Professor Trelawney sighed. "Well, dear, I think we should stop here. It's a little disappointing, but I'm sure you've done your best."

Harry breathed a sigh of relief, stood up, picked up his schoolbag, and turned to leave, but then a loud, hoarse voice spoke behind him—

"This is going to happen tonight."

Harry turned around quickly. Professor Trelawney sat frozen in her armchair, her gaze unfocused, her chin drooping—

The scene was almost exactly the same as the one prophesied by Tyrell.

“I’m sorry?” Harry was startled.

But Professor Trelawney seemed not to hear him, her eyes darting around. Harry stood there, startled. She looked as if she were having an attack. Harry hesitated, wondering whether to run to the school hospital, when Professor Trelawney spoke again, in that hoarse voice, so unlike her own.

"The Dark Lord lies alone... friendless... abandoned by his companions... For twelve years his servant has been imprisoned... Tonight, before midnight, this servant will break free of his chains... and begin searching for his master. With the servant's help, the Dark Lord will rise again, stronger and more terrifying than ever before. Tonight, before midnight, that servant will begin to find his master again..."

Professor Trelawney's head slumped to her chest. She groaned. Then, quite suddenly, her head snapped back up.

“I’m sorry, my dear child,” she said as if in a dream, “it was so hot during the day, you know I fell asleep for a while…”

Harry remained standing there, dumbfounded, his expression suggesting he was terrified.

“Is something wrong, darling?” Trelawney asked.

“No…no…” Harry backed away. “Goodbye, Professor Trelawney.”

Harry fled the divination classroom as if he were running away.

He rushed past the dwarf security guard and reached the outside of the Gryffindor Tower entrance, Professor Trelawney's words and Tyrell's brief prophecy still vivid in his mind—

People strode past him, walking in the opposite direction, chatting and laughing as they went outside, heading towards that long-awaited bit of freedom.

By the time he reached the hole in the portrait and entered the common room, it was almost empty.

However, Ron and Hermione were sitting in the corner.

“Buckbeak lost the case,” Ron said listlessly. “Hagrid just brought this over.”

Hagrid's note was dry this time, without any tears, but his hand was probably shaking so badly that the note was difficult to decipher:

"We've lost the case. The execution will take place at sunset. You can't help you anymore. Don't come; I don't want you to see the execution—Hagrid."

Hermione sat in the corner, sobbing silently.

“We must go! We absolutely must see him!” Harry declared firmly. “We can’t let Hagrid sit there all alone waiting for the executioner—”

……

Meanwhile, Tyrell, Dobby, and Slytherin appeared in Azkaban, in Sirius's modified and enlarged cell.

“Let’s begin,” Tierra said.

Dobby nodded and took out lion hair, eagle claws, human skin, bull horns, an upright cross, and an inverted cross from the traceless extension box, placing them on the six points of the six-pointed star altar.

Then take out firewood, lay it in the center of the six-pointed star altar, and place the ancient Greek Bible on top.

As Dobby set up the altar, Slytherin picked up the Mad Walker and slammed it heavily on the ground—

The entire cell trembled, then slowly rose until the entire altar was exposed to the dim sky and the swarms of Dementors.

Slytherin, along with Tyella and Dobby, arrived at the top of Azkaban Tower—

“Abraham took his son Isaac and a donkey and went to the high mountain that God had shown him.”

Tyrell stripped naked, lay down with her eyes closed on the firewood and the Bible, and Slytherin first took out distilled water and let it flow over Tyrell's face—

"The Father loves the pure lamb, and he makes sure that every sacrifice is made pure first."

Then Slytherin, holding the Mad Walker in one hand and the Spear of Longinus in the other, stood beside Tiera and slowly recited:
“Protiv raja
Zato to sam demon.
Samo je krv u mojim oima i protok vatre
Bijesan na svijetu
Dokai da sam demon.
Sisaj svetu runou i dobru duu
Iako nisam gladan.
Fenomen najbolji——

Trigon!

"I offer this pure lamb as a sacrifice to you!" Slytherin slammed the Mad Walker to the ground, then raised the Spear of Longinus and plunged it fiercely into Tyella.

Although Tiera severed her spiritual dimension and relinquished Nyarlathotep's favor—

But his left hand still bore the blessing of the great race Is—named Time.

He still carries the power of time within him; he remains a prophet.

For the false god who achieved immortality through the "Heaven" dimension, and for the great demon who had never ascended to the divine dimension—Tiera remained the body it so desperately sought, the perfect vessel for acquiring its innate talents in law—

It's even more perfect than the previous Prophet's body that HWHY possessed—

The Spear of Longinus stopped before it even touched Tyella's body. No matter how hard Slytherin tried, the tip of the Spear of Longinus remained motionless, stopping five centimeters above Tyella's body.

Tyella, whose eyes had been tightly closed, slowly opened them. An invisible storm of power surged around Tyella, hurling Slytherin and Dobby away.

A cruel, indifferent, and aloof platinum halo rose behind Tiera's head.

Tiera slowly sat up, a hint of joy and disbelief appearing in her previously lifeless eyes—

Tiera raised her left hand, gazing at the inscription on her fingers that represented the blessing of time, as if looking at some rare treasure—

"finally……"

Tierra grinned menacingly, and just as he was about to say something, a huge, star-studded book slammed heavily onto Tierra's head, flooding his mind with a deluge of forbidden, blasphemous, and irrational knowledge.

At the same time, a bright red papal robe slowly draped down, tightly binding Tiera, and a pale golden spiritual flame ignited the spiritual dimension within Tiera's body—

The martyrdom ceremony (Note 1) begins!

At the same time, Slytherin quickly got up from the ground, grabbed Mad Walker again, slammed it to the ground, and chanted an ancient and obscure spell.

The head sculpture atop "Mad Walker" suddenly awakens and loudly chants Slytherin's spell in a high-pitched tone.

Dobby also took out Tiera's original Dragon Heart Wand and joined the chanting team.

The surrounding Dementors suddenly became excited and restless, circling in the air like a flock of birds—

Strangely, these flocks of Dementors grew larger and denser, with new Dementors joining the group every now and then.

It was as if a huge hole had suddenly appeared in this space, and pure deathly silence and an evil tide surged forth from it—

Above the martyr ceremony, another ritual begins—

Legend has it that Azkaban originated in the 15th century, but it was not originally used as a prison; rather, it was a wizard's tower for a sorcerer who called himself Extis.

Extis was not famous in his lifetime, but his magic was extremely powerful. Extis studied the most evil black magic in the mage tower alone, and at the same time, he would lure, torture and kill Muggle sailors who passed by, and he took pleasure in doing so.

All the wizards believed he had gone insane. It wasn't until after his death, when the concealment charm he had cast lost its power, that the Ministry of Magic became aware of the island and the structure. Those who went to investigate afterwards only mentioned that the place was teeming with Dementors and refused to reveal any further details.

But Tiera recognized him the first time he visited Azkaban as "Jidrolohart"—

Extis was not simply torturing Muggles for his own amusement.

This is clearly an attempt to accumulate painful emotions by abusing Muggles, and then use those painful emotions as a sacrifice, with this entire triangular structure serving as an altar, to open the door to another dimension.

That was a primary spiritual world similar to Hell. Dementors, monsters that only occupy the spiritual and mental dimensions, were resident creatures of that primary spiritual world. They escaped to the primary material world where Tiera and the others lived through this dimensional rift.

Then, by utilizing the power leaked from that main spiritual world, one can combine their spiritual and mental dimensions to complete the demonic transformation ritual—

This is also what Tiera is doing now—

The martyrdom ritual was used to burn HWHY’s spiritual dimension, leaving only his spiritual dimension.

Then, with the help of the power of another main spiritual world, through a demonic transformation ritual (Note 2), HWHY's spiritual dimension and his own spiritual dimension are merged, allowing him to regain his spiritual dimension.

This is why Tiera chose Azkaban.

Because the rift leading to another primary spiritual world was once opened here, Tiera will have easier access to that other primary spiritual world.

Therefore, for Tiera, HWHY is also a perfect demon—

This is Tiera's plan for her third year of school. It's simple: strip away the spiritual dimension bestowed upon her by Nyarlathotep, then find a demon, burn its spiritual dimension (Note 3), and use a demonic transformation ritual to plunder its spiritual dimension—

Return yourself to three dimensions.

--------split line--------

Note 1: The Martyr's Ritual, from the "Red Priest's Handbook" in Chapter 87, "The Spiritual Fire," is a special ritual that merges with the demon's spiritual dimension by igniting the demon's spiritual dimension.

Note 2: The demon transformation ritual is explained in detail in Chapter 170, "Entering the Dream."

Note 3: For a burnt offering, the whole animal to be sacrificed must be killed at the entrance of the tent of meeting, and its blood must be sprinkled around the altar at the entrance of the tent of meeting. The animal must be skinned, cut into pieces, and its lungs and legs must be washed with water. Then it must be burned on the altar and burned to ashes.
