Chapter 155 Tiera's Redemption Synopsis
Chapter 155 Tiera's Redemption Synopsis
“Mr. Lockhart has earned my complete trust,” Dumbledore said. “He has performed well during his tenure at our school, demonstrating his powerful magical abilities and profound knowledge.”
“I’m willing to vouch for him; Mr. Lockhart is certainly not a Death Eater,” Dumbledore said, sealing the matter.
“Alright, since you say so, Dumbledore…” Moody glanced at Gilderoy Lockhart again with his Magic Eye, “then I choose to believe him too.”
"So what exactly happened?" Cornelius Fudge interjected. "Why is Voldemort at Hogwarts?"
“I think Mr. Lockhart might need to explain this to us.” Dumbledore picked up his teacup, took another sip, and leaned back, his eyes filled with a “begin your performance” look.
“Yes, please allow me to explain,” Tiera said. “It all started with a little boy named Tiera.”
"Oh?" Dumbledore straightened up. "What does this have to do with our little Tierra?"
“I sensed it on my very first day at Hogwarts; there was a powerful dark magic force lingering here,” Tyella said, clearing her throat. “I think the Headmaster must have noticed it as well.”
“There are many dark magical forces entrenched in Hogwarts. Which one are you referring to?” Dumbledore asked. “Please be more specific.”
“The one on Tiera,” Tiera said, “I won’t go into the specifics of how it happened, but after making bold assumptions and carefully gathering evidence, I’ve finally determined the source of that dark magic power—”
“This dark magic power comes from Tiera,” Tiera said.
"Oh, okay, please continue, tell me in detail what kind of dark magic power it is." Dumbledore peeled a cockroach candy and put it in his mouth.
“The Ravenclaw crown,” Tierra said, then reached out and picked up a teacup from Dumbledore’s table—
“Please put down that teacup, Mr. Lockhart,” Dumbledore said suddenly. “It’s a 100th birthday present from Nicolas Flamel.”
“Oh, okay…” Tyra awkwardly withdrew her hand, then picked up a piece of paper from Dumbledore’s desk—
The thin sheet of paper twisted and deformed in Tiera's hands, transforming into a silver crown inlaid with a sky-blue gemstone.
“As everyone knows, I’m a Ravenclaw alumnus, so I recognized this relic of the academy’s founder at a glance,” Tierra said.
“So what about this relic now?” Cornelius Fudge asked.
“It’s destroyed,” Tierra said. “That’s exactly what I was going to say. Voldemort cast a spell on Ravenclaw’s crown that I believe was a Dementor.”
"Wait a minute—" Dumbledore suddenly called out, nearly knocking over his teacup.
“Hmm… I’m a little tired. I’m sure everyone in the Ministry of Magic has their own things to do—” Dumbledore said. “Mr. Lockhart, please give a brief summary, and then let us all go about our business. Voldemort has been driven away, and I don’t think we need to waste our energy on this kind of thing.”
"As everyone knows, our little wizard Tyella is an orphan." Tyella began to tell her fabricated story. "But how many of you know that Tyella came from the same orphanage as Voldemort?"
"What do you mean?" Dumbledore suddenly asked.
“Yes, Voldemort hid Ravenclaw’s crown in the orphanage where he used to live,” Tierra said. “Then our little wizard Tierra accidentally discovered it.”
"Ravenclaw's crown has been tainted by Voldemort's extremely evil dark magic. To Muggles, it's just a slightly prettier crown, but to wizards, it holds a deadly allure, and just then—"
"A young wizard, Tyella, who hadn't yet started school, found the crown and was quickly drawn to its strangeness, taking it with her when she left the orphanage—"
"What happened next was without a doubt. Faced with Voldemort's whispers and seductions, which even adult wizards couldn't resist, the young wizard Tyrell, who hadn't even entered Hogwarts yet, also succumbed to Voldemort's dark magic curse and became a puppet controlled by him." "On Tyrell's way to Hogwarts, Voldemort used Tyrell's identity as a child to steal the Philosopher's Stone from the coat pocket of Hagrid, the gamekeeper at Hogwarts—" Tyrell looked at Dumbledore and then said, "I think you must have noticed this as well, right?"
"Hmm...yes, yes." Dumbledore stroked his beard and said with some surprise.
“Wait, allow me to interrupt,” Cornelius Fudge suddenly interjected. “You mean, the Philosopher’s Stone was stolen? What about the one Dumbledore said he’d destroy last year…”
“It’s fake,” Dumbledore said, adjusting his glasses. “But the Philosopher’s Stone was made so realistically that it was almost indistinguishable from the real thing—I might have been fooled if I hadn’t seen the real Philosopher’s Stone with Nicolas Flamel.”
"So Voldemort was behind all of this?" Dumbledore asked.
“Yes,” Tyrell continued, “Please allow me to explain Voldemort’s plan. After taking control of Tyrell, Voldemort originally intended to use this unenrolled young wizard to plant a mole in Hogwarts. However, he did not expect that Tyrell would run into Hagrid, who was transporting the Philosopher’s Stone, on his way to school. So Voldemort turned the tables and planted a plague curse on Tyrell. Then, he controlled Tyrell to switch the Philosopher’s Stone with Hagrid’s on-the-spot trip to St. Mungo’s Hospital for Magical Injuries.”
“After all…” Tiera said with a smile, “No way, no way, no one really thinks that a little wizard who hasn’t even started school has the ability to cast such a vicious curse on himself and then steal the Philosopher’s Stone, right?”
“What about the fake Philosopher’s Stone?” Cornelius Fudge asked.
“I destroyed it,” Dumbledore said. “But it wasn’t an ordinary fake Philosopher’s Stone, was it?”
“Yes,” Tierra said. “That was a half-finished product that Voldemort failed to create.”
“No wonder…no wonder I almost couldn’t tell them apart…” Dumbledore said.
“Excuse me for interrupting again, but what about the real Philosopher’s Stone?” Cornelius Fudge asked.
“It’s ruined too,” Tierra said. “This relates to Voldemort’s next plans.”
"Last year, on the surface, it was said that Professor Quirrell was possessed by Voldemort and wanted to steal the Philosopher's Stone hidden in Hogwarts, but in reality, that was just a smokescreen put out by Voldemort. In fact, Voldemort had already controlled Tyrell to secretly begin brewing the elixir of immortality—"
As she spoke, Tierra looked at Snape again—
“I imagine Tierra’s potions skills far surpass those of other young wizards her age, don’t you think, Professor Snape?” Tierra countered.
“Yes.” Snape thought for a moment with a somber expression, then nodded.
“That’s it then,” Tyella said. “Actually, it was Voldemort who was training Tyella’s Potions skills all along. Until the end of the term, when Voldemort believed that Tyella’s Potions skills were sufficient to brew the Elixir of Immortality, Voldemort had Quirrell steal the fake Philosopher’s Stone to create a disturbance. Then he had Tyella go to Quirrell’s office and take away the ingredients for the Elixir of Immortality that Professor Quirrell had purchased in advance. After all, if a first-year wizard like Tyella rashly bought the ingredients for the Elixir of Immortality, it would be easy to arouse suspicion, right? In this way, with Professor Quirrell covering for them, Voldemort was able to make the Elixir of Immortality without anyone knowing, allowing him to quietly resurrect himself.”
“How evil!” Cornelius Fudge said with compassion. “To use children.”
The other officials from the Ministry of Magic nodded in agreement.
Seeing that her whitewashing plan had worked, Tiera smiled smugly to herself.
“A very clever plan,” Dumbledore said. “But according to you, Voldemort should have been resurrected last summer. What does that have to do with you?”
"But whether the elixir of immortality can truly resurrect Voldemort can only be known after trying it, right?" Tierra smiled mysteriously. "After Voldemort tried it, he discovered that the elixir of immortality could only maintain his strength by a little more than that of someone on the verge of death, and could not completely resurrect him. So he could only continue to lie low and continue to cause trouble with Tierra as his puppet."
